I was given an appointment with ENTex by my PCP after battling a sinus infection for two months…read more The scheduler gave me an address in Plano, TX. I arrive, and there is a different practice (not an ENT) in that space. I called them and was on hold for 15 minutes, only to find out that my appointment was in McKinney; they don't even know how or why I was given that address, and it will be another full month before I can be seen. It did not matter that I have hearing loss as a result of the sinus infection and that my PCP suspects a fungal infection. Then I asked to be put on a cancellation list, and they informed me that they do not have one. I would need to call in every day and check if they have had any cancellations. I'll keep my appointment scheduled for a month away, but I'm going to call my PCP and get a different ENT.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Peiffer & the ENTTEX Team…read more From the moment I walked into ENTTEX, I was treated not just as a patient, but as a person. Dr. Peiffer is truly one of the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and skilled ENT specialists I have ever met. He took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and gave me such peace of mind throughout a difficult process. His expertise and kindness made all the difference in my recovery. A special thank you to Deva, the amazing office administrator, whose grace and professionalism were a constant comfort. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and always made me feel supported. I am deeply grateful to the entire ENTTEX team. They don't just practice medicine -- they offer hope, healing, and true care. I would recommend Dr. Peiffer and ENTTEX to anyone needing ENT care. You will be in the best hands.

Very frustrating billing experience…read more I clearly told ENT Specialists of McKinney that I was ending allergy treatment and did not authorize a new allergy vial. I also requested cancellation of my appointment. When I followed up, technician Dariel told me the issue would be handled, so I reasonably believed the matter was resolved. Then, more than a year later, I received an unexpected debt collection call for approximately $500 tied to that exact issue. Trying to resolve the situation was equally frustrating. Billing leadership was difficult to reach, and there did not appear to be a straightforward process for disputing the charge. The most concerning part is that this could have been prevented with proper communication between staff and billing. Patients should not be surprised by collections over charges they explicitly declined.

If I could give ENT & Allergy Center of McKinney more than 5 stars, I absolutely would!…read more Dr. Dr. Dang truly gave me my quality of life BACK. For years, I struggled with constant strep throat and tonsillitis--at least 2-3 times every single year. On top of that, I dealt with terrible tonsil stones that caused awful breath and daily discomfort. It was frustrating, exhausting, and honestly embarrassing at times. I had been told by other doctors to keep trying different step therapies that just weren't working. But Dr. Dang actually LISTENED. She took my concerns seriously and helped me make the decision to finally have my tonsils removed--something I should have done years ago. Since my surgery in May 2025, my life has completely changed. No more constant infections. No more tonsil stones. No more worrying about bad breath. I feel healthier, more confident, and just overall BETTER. The office experience is amazing as well--everyone is so friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. And let's talk about efficiency... I usually wait only about 5 minutes, which is almost unheard of these days! What really stood out to me was the level of care after the procedure. Dr. Dang's nurse personally called me the very next day after my tonsillectomy just to check on me and see how I was doing. That kind of follow-up and genuine care is rare and meant so much to me. The care, professionalism, and compassion at this office are unmatched. We were so impressed that I even brought my husband in to see Dr. Dang for his allergies--and she's been just as amazing for him! If you're dealing with ENT issues and feel like you're not being heard elsewhere, PLEASE come here. This team will take care of you and truly change your life.

A bit of background: My 75 year-old Mother seems to be…read moresuffering from frequent, sudden bouts of debilitating vertigo with tinnitus, dizziness, extreme nausea, vomiting, and double vision. It was so severe that I had called 911 on multiple occasions (June 2nd, June 14th, and June 22nd) and she was transported to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital all three times (stroke was already ruled out and we were cleared by Neuro and already saw a Neurosurgeon for a consultation). While she was there, she had a CT of the Head and Neck and several MRIs and it was determined that she had a large goiter that was pushing on her trachea. The Doctor on call at the Hospital referred us to ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas, after which we made a New Patient Appointment with John Jeffcoat, PA-C. He did a work up on my Mom, along with a hearing test from the Audiologist, and referred us to Owen's Ear Center for the vertigo and tinnitus and to Dr. Martino for a consultation on the goiter. I knew from the moment Dr. Benjamin Martino entered the exam room that he would have a professional, distinguished, calming demeanor, and our first impression was right. Dr. Martino immediately set our anxious hearts minds at ease. It is clear that he has a professional bedside manner. He spent 25 minutes with us and answered all our questions. He then explained that he was doing an ultrasound of my Mom's thyroid to demonstrate how big the goiter is. According to his assessment, it appeared benign and not cancer which was good news. He explained that the thyroid gland was so large that it was pushing on her airway. It was his approach and interaction with us that made me feel like he takes an active interest in every patient that walks through his door. Not once did my Mom ever feel rushed or uncomfortable. I trust his judgment and I know that my Mother will be in good hands. Dr. Martino told us that someone from Surgery Scheduling would be contacting us regarding the surgery date. He performs surgeries on Thursdays at Baylor McKinney.

Her office and her team answered all my questions and always made me feel comfortable. After my surgery, I was so nervous for my post op appointment that I just immediately cried when one of the nurses took me back. She calmed me down and really sympathized with my feelings, which meant so much. Dr. Wyll is very nice and professional and has a gentle hand even when a weenie like me is in her office. While I'm still in recovery, I am so pleased with my results. I can finally breathe again, it's like a whole new world. I have a chance at a better life thanks to Dr. Wyll and I am forever grateful.

When I called the office on 9/14/26, staff confirmed the fee exists to prevent missed appointments, but also confirmed it is not refunded or credited toward your visit even when you attend. A no-show deterrent you pay either way isn't a deterrent; it's a higher price for the same appointment, charged only to patients without insurance, often the people least able to absorb extra costs. This practice is operated by Texas ENT Specialists / Elevate ENT Partners, so self-pay patients at their other locations may want to ask whether the same fee applies. This is a billing-policy issue, not a comment on the physicians' clinical care.

I was referred to and advised that Collin County ENT would take Tri-Care. Truth is that they do take Tri-Care and it is in network, but only as a secondary insurance, not a primary insurance (According to the receptionist that I spoke to it is office dependent, so they can make their own rules). So, what do veterans do when they do not have additional insurance? I think this is a very poor stance when your duties are to help. You only help when it benefits you as the Doctor. What a work-around to allow this organization to charge more for service. I know that doctors who support military veterans take more of a loss. It's a given but when you say you do but there's a catch, you are just spitting in the face of those who served to allow you to skate around the issue of possibly taking less money for the same payment. This is just so frustrating to know that I pay a lot for my military "Tri-Care Prime" insurance. More than most who may be transiting through this office (if they pay anything at all) but only to be told your second rate. Pathetic! I'm sure you have the ability to find my name. If your smart enough you will have my contact details and you can contact me. However, I may put you at the bottom of the list to return your call.

I even checked because 6 people that came in after me we sent back. A couple completed their visit and left before I was sent back. After I was sent back I was informed that it would be another 20-30 minutes before I saw the doctor. At this point I elected to get up and leave. I was asked if I wanted to call back to reschedule to which I declined. They obviously have too many patients if the wait times are this lengthy. I'm sure from the other review that they are fine doctors especially considering the patient load but to have this experience is rude and dis-courteous. I wouldn't dream of showing up to any appointment late like this.
