I needed a laser lithotripsy procedure, and her explanation of the procedure gave me the knowledge I needed - and the confidence that addressing this early, before the stone began to pass (9MM) was the safest and wisest choice. Since the procedure (which went according to plan), she has been very proactive to ensure that post surgery, she has visibility into the remaining fragments, and how I can best ensure they pass sooner than later. When my doctor submits a referral, I receive a call to schedule within a day. Recently needed to see a Neurosurgeon for a pinched nerve, which required surgery. I was called and had a scheduled visit in less than a week. Surgery was deemed necessary and it was scheduled in less than 2 weeks. The entire staff in the Neuro department was excellent. When the hospital screwed up resulting in my insurance denying the surgery, the Summit Neuro staff (Ruth) stepped right in and got everything resolved to the surgery could go on schedule. I cannot say enough about the care and caring team at Summit Health.
