A waste of money! I…read morehave been going to Dr. Banks since April 2019. I never missed no scheduled appointments and my braces should have been taken off, instead Dr. Banks kept making mistakes. One of the mistakes was him moving my top front teeth to far back which caused one of my front teeth to change a grayish color, the cause was from him moving my teeth so far back my tooth hit a nerve. I bought it to his attention and he tried to brush it off and he agreed that my front top teeth were indeed moved to far back. Before getting my braces on I had an over-jet which was the reason for me getting braces, Dr. Banks turned my over-jet into an extremely deep bite that you couldn't see my front bottom teeth when I bite down. I bought this issue to his attention, again he brushed it off and told me it's not a big deal. Well it's in fact a big deal because thousands of dollars was lost and my teeth is not corrected. I went in for my monthly appointment and he told me my braces were ready to come, I looked him in his eyes and told him that's incorrect and asked him for a mirror and I pointed out to him everything that was wrong. I still had a few spaces between my teeth that he kept ignoring. After going to Dr. Banks office for 6 YEARS I decided to go to another Orthodontics because it seems as though Dr. Banks didn't know what he was doing and he continued to gaslight me. I continued to still go to Dr. Banks after all of these years because I already paid him because I honestly didn't want to have to pay for braces again through another provider. I did everything I was told to do on my part like wearing my rubber bands, Dr. Banks even stated that I no longer have to wear them anymore. Unfortunately I lost thousands of dollars due to him not being honest and now I am paying more money for another set of braces through another Orthodontics office and they stated what Dr. Banks was doing wrong and the office couldn't believe how long I had my braces on for.

He even books his own appointment sometime. He works like crazy and has early-morning hours and weekends. My family has been going to Dr. Ting for almost 20 years which is around when he first started his practice. He has been in the same location the whole time with the same assistant. My parents, my siblings, and now our children go there. My brother lives an hour away now and he still travels that far just to see him. We have referred so many people to him who live just as far, and travel just as far just to see him.I can't believe he doesn't have more reviews on here, but probably because people are being selfish. If I can give him 10 stars I would. We love Dr. Ting.

Aboslutely awful practice, I experienced complete incompetence. Fancy office, terrible everything…read moreelse. New patient appointment was hard to schedule and they refused to do anything at first appt except for xrays and a "consult" - not even a cleaning!! The xrays taken were bad ones too - my new/better dentist called them "shadowy" and said they were very poor quality. I wasted time filling out forms via their website that they couldn't seem to access, had to redo them on an Ipad that froze up every other minute - so irritating. They also "forgot" about me in the waiting room on the return visit to get the cavities filled and cleaning, I had to wait an hour. The worst part was Dr. White. He caused me months of ongoing jaw pain by refusing to use a bite guard while filling my cavities despite my request for one and obvious pain. His assistant noticed and tried to offer the biteguard but Dr. White still refused, and he yelled at me when my mouth closed midfilling due to a completely cramped jaw. When Dr. White numbed my gum for the shot of painkiller, he had me laid down flat on my back so the numbing agent dripped down towards my throat and I felt like I was choking for several minutes. This was actually quite scary. He also uses the cheap painkillers - I could feel him drilling and when I indicated this instead of giving me more painkiller and continuing, he just quit his drilling and closed things up - very poorly at that. He didn't shake out the soft rot on any of the cavities. He fused two teeth together instead of using a ring to shape a filling on the side of a tooth, creating a food trap that drove me NUTS. All three fillings he did had to be redone by my new dentist - plus one of the three chipped almost immediately. He also brushed off a tooth I said was giving me pain as simply "sensitive teeth" and handed me a sample of Sensodyne. Too bad I found out 6 months later at my new dentists' office that a cavity in that tooth was clearly visible on the xrays Harborview sent to my new dentist, and the records sent from Harborview indicated no work had been done on that tooth, confirming my suspicion that this dentist is horribly negligent. I was never offered a flouride treatment either. One of the staff also gave me bruises on my arm while taking my blood pressure over and over again with a clearly broken machine, despite my telling her it hurt...all I got was attitude. Why they were taking my blood pressure AFTER filling my cavities and before doing a cleaning makes no sense, but was par for the course. To add insult to all these injuries, they also overcharged me. They had a list from the insurance company showing what they should have charged me, yet when I pointed out the overcharge, they accused me of "making things up" and played dumb. I had to get the insurance company to call and scold them. Then it took 10 months to get my money back while they insisted it was my bank's fault - no, they had processed the refund offline and it never went through. I told them this over and over (it was clearly on the receipt they sent me) but I had to jump through hoops and spend hours on countless calls before they finally admitted it was their fault once I threatened I would file a complaint with the state of MD. My advice is do not go near this dentist or practice unless you like to punish yourself. Huge mistake for me. This review is long overdue - but Dr. White is still there so posting this to save you all from him and this awful practice.

Yesterday, this office called me to remind me of an upcoming appointment & I spoke with a woman who clearly stated teeth cleaning was covered. Today I arrived and was told I would have to pay out of pocket costs...no problem, except that I specifically asked yesterday what the cost would be and the receptionist stated I was eligible for free a free cleaning. This morning, I walk in for my appointment and was told I would have to pay $200+ ! WHAT THE HELL?! I asked for this information yesterday and this wasn't mentioned. To make matters worse, this office was crowded with people in the lobby (6+) early in the morning during a pandemic! This just can't be a safe practice. The receptionist was rather rude during this process and when I asked about the free cleaning I was told I was eligible for, she didn't even acknowledge this. Now I must find another office to perform the services needed. This place needs a staff training to ensure receptionist relay the correct information at all times, and perhaps replace the receptionist there with someone with more experience, knowledge of the systems in place, and someone who can respectfully communicate issues. I won't be back, and this isn't the last of my reviews. My Experience With This Practice…read more Dr. Amir was the surgeon who performed my wisdom tooth procedure. I had all four of my wisdom teeth scheduled to be removed at this practice. I paid for all four extractions, and my insurance was also billed for all four. I also paid the required copay for each tooth. I underwent general anesthesia and went through the recovery and pain believing that all four teeth had been removed. After the procedure, I was told by Dr. Amir and the staff that the procedure had been completed. At my follow-up appointment, I was again led to believe that everything had been taken care of. Later, I visited my general dentist, who took X-rays and informed me that one of my wisdom teeth was still present and had not been removed. I returned to the practice and brought this to Dr. Amir's attention. He apologized and asked me to contact the staff regarding a resolution. After contacting the staff, I was reimbursed only the $136 copay associated with the tooth that had not been removed. What makes this even more frustrating is that because of this mishap, I now have to go through another extraction and another round of recovery, pain, and inconvenience--something I should not have had to go through if the procedure had been completed correctly the first time. My concern is that I was charged for a procedure that was not fully performed, my insurance was billed for all four teeth, and I was not informed that one tooth remained until my general dentist discovered it through X-rays. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled, particularly because I underwent general anesthesia and the risks and recovery associated with the procedure based on the understanding that all four teeth were being removed
