The transition between the two types of flooring was seamless

Andro Pinto Flooring did an amazing job installing our flooring in the kitchen and hallway. This was a complicated job because we wanted both wood and tile flooring and the installer carried it out flawlessly. They also recommended improvements we had not even thought of that made our home more beautiful than ever. We are repeat clients and we would definitely hire them for future projects. Job well done, honest and very reasonable. I am so happy I found Andro Pinto Flooring. I highly recommend hiring them.

    Man cave flooring

Andro's team did a fantastic job installing a gorgeous floor for my man cave. He knew exactly the right type of flooring to use over concrete, and for a space that needed to withstand temperature fluctuations and moisture. His team also spent an extra day leveling the floor which was uneven, at no extra charge. His wife Tiffany was also lovely and a pleasure to work with. She runs the business for providing the floor materials and gave great advice on what would pair well aesthetically with my existing walls. Andro and Tiffany are a phenomenal team. Trustworthy, professional, and kind. What more could you ask for?

Andro only uses the highest quality flooring materials with an excellent warranty!

ANOTHER 7 STAR COMPANY! I had what can be considered as a small job, but to us it was a very important one. I had to remove about a 50 square foot section of carpet where it was flooded from the bathroom and replace it with water proof laminate that resembled hard wood. I originally contacted about 8 flooring companies, but only had 2 come out to inspect and give me estimates. Needless to say that all of them had 4.5 or 5 stars. I thought that I was going to select the first company that came out, until I met Andro from Andro Pinto Flooring. Andro was the second company that came to my home the same day. He was excellent and very professional from the beginning and remained that way until the very end. He changed my mind in minutes and I knew that I didn't want anyone else. Not only that, but he stayed after the estimate process and I really got to know him personally. It's one thing when you feel you have the best company working for you, but it's another thing when you also know that you have one of the best people out there too! To me, it's important to also have a conscientious, warm, like minded and caring individual behind the company as well. So when looking for the best flooring company and person, look no further than Andro Pinto Flooring! P.S. His employee Baska who installed the flooring was also excellent, so I told him that I'd give him a raise!

I still visited other stores to do my due diligence, but no one came close in terms of pricing, customer service, flooring selection, or overall flexibility. Jack's team began work the day after providing a very transparent and reasonable estimate. Igar was also fantastic to work with. The demolition was completed in just one day, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate requests that were outside the original scope of work. I am extremely happy with the flooring I selected, and the craftsmanship truly shows in the details. The baseboard installation and painting, as well as the stair installation, were done exceptionally well. These finishing touches are what truly elevate the entire flooring project.

I thought I could DIY the whole job, but as I was finishing the demo of the old flooring I quickly realized that it was WAY beyond my abilities! I got an incredibly fast response from Jack, who was able to visit and give a detailed quote. He explained what work would be required, and how to handle the prep work to get the job done right. Anatoly did a thorough job leveling the floor, installing the new flooring and re-installing the trim board. I was impressed by the team's attention to detail while still finishing the job quickly. I'm so glad that I worked with VM Flooring - now I just wish I had worked with them from the start instead of trying to DIY at all!

Our job consisted of pulling up rooms of old carpet as well as an old kitchen hardwood floor, and replacing it all with 3/4" engineered wood from a Canadian company called Mirage. Elite's quote for materials and labor was not the most expensive nor the least, but when going through our house, Aleksey thought of questions, spotted issues, AND thought of solutions that no one else had asked about or even noticed. He was also the only one who told us that he could carefully remove our elaborate wooden baseboards without breaking most or all of them. Every other place simply said we would likely need to replace it all. As a result, their pricing was actually lower than anyone else if you take into account the cost we saved by not having to replace one single piece of baseboard. He was meticulous, measuring three times before ordering materials just to make sure he got the numbers right. Installation went smoothly and included work like grinding down areas of our foundation that were not smooth, moisture testing, coating of the slab with a moisture barrier, etc. They also made sure they installed the wood in a manner that will allow the kitchen appliances to be removed without damaging the floor, when the time comes that they need to be replaced. Again, no one else we spoke with even mentioned any of this. There were transitions between floorings of some rooms that were at different heights. For some of the areas, Aleksey did not care for the off the shelf transitions that companies sell. Instead, he and his crew crafted their own transition pieces & thresholds that looked beautiful and did the job. Far more elegant and unintrusive. They did the same for the transitions between stone surrounding fireplaces and one bathroom. Everything was carefully thought through. The guys showed up at 8 AM and sometimes worked until 5 or 6 pm if they were trying to get certain things done. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, polite and cleaned up after themselves. Communication with Aleksey was always good. Elite Hardwood & Flooring is not simply an installation company. This is a very delayed review- I had my hardwood floors redone by Peninsula Floors last year, but I…read morestill find myself thinking about the experience so I decided it might be helpful to others to share. The bottom line is that the bulk of the work was good, I'm overall satisfied with the results, and am glad that we got the floors refinished. However, there were several details about the experience that would make me hesitate to recommend Peninsula to friends or others looking to redo their floors. - I was initially quoted ~7-8 working days to redo the floors. The initial work actually took closer to 13 working days, and it took another 7 working days on top of that to complete followup items after I reviewed the initial work. To be fair, I was traveling for about 5 of those working days during some of the initial work and probably caused a bit of delay in my own responses being slow, but I also don't think that all of the delay was due to myself. - When provided stain samples, I was initially provided the wrong names corresponding to the samples. This was only noticed because I asked for another set of samples in another area of the house and was confused as to why the colors varied so much, and asked about it- otherwise it's very possible I would have selected a completely different color than what I intended. - There was some damage done by the sander to our metal stair railing, which they did patch up with paint, but it's still visible where the damage was. Also, initially only some of the stairs in the home had the scotia trim replaced- when I asked the ones where the previous paint clearly showed they also used to have trim, they just added it to all of the stairs regardless of which ones did or didn't have it before. There was also a tricky area in a closet that I said I would be okay not refinishing, and instead it was sanded but not refinished due to not being able to get into that area- I would have just preferred the initial topcoat wasn't removed in that case, because that area is now just unprotected wood. None of these details were mentioned to me or provided as project updates until I asked about them. - Lastly, after I had sent the final payment through, I realized some of our doorstops were missing after having been removed from the trim to not get in the way of the sanders. I asked where the team may have left them so I could reattach them and got no response. It's not a big deal, they were less than $5, but later, after moving in, I also asked about if there were cleaning/maintenance products they would recommend and also got no response. Being completely ghosted after having dealt with some of the difficulties mentioned above really left me feeling like they totally wrote me off as a customer and was not a pleasant way to end the project. I think they do decent work, but I suspect they're a bit stretched thin and smaller/less important jobs are not supervised as much and don't seem like they have the same quality bar. If I were to do it again, I feel like I would have been happier supervising more closely from the start. Edit- I appreciate Juan's response (below and privately), however I do want to make clear that not everything was addressed as I was told they would be. For example, for the incompletely sanded and unfinished area of the closet I mentioned above, I was told it would at least have some form of finish applied, which never happened. There were a few other details like this, but at some point it was no longer worth my time to chase them down especially as we were getting close to our move in which we initially thought we would have far more buffer for.
