My girlfriend came here for some piercings she's been interested in buying, and after being charged $117.00 for 6 piercings which the lady said to be "stainless steel and good quality", the piercings began to cause pain. Not only was there continuous pain for weeks, it was causing an infection. Though these were attractive colored, the color faded and seemed to just chip away. One piercing seemed to be bronze underneath all the color and steel, definitely faded as did the money which was used on it. Could've been better.

Worst tattoo parlor in the city!

Horrible place. Bunch of scam artists... They did the shittest tat on my hand, and they told me they would touch it up for free. I bought two matching ones as a memorial for my best friend who just passed away and they charged me $100 A PIECE! Outrageous but it was late and we wanted to do something special and they were open, dumb idea on my part, anyways I came back today to get the touch up and they refused. See the picture..... this was literally a week and half later! Avoid!!

CROOKED VERTICAL LABRET My piercer was nice (mistakes happen) but lady I talked to the next day was horrible - chubby spanish lady on phone

Got a vertical Labret Piercing back in December 2015. My piercer was really nice and I loved her. However, my piercing was crooked. I knew immediately after one day that my piercing was crooked. I came in the next day at opening hours 12 o'clock and waited a whole hour! you should change the hours to 1 pm!! I ended up getting something to eat and returned later to find a chubby spanish (?) speaking lady drinking soup and talking loudly on her phone. I told her my piercing was crooked and showed it to her. I said, "Look, it's crooked. What are my options." She insisted it wasn't crooked, but merely swollen. Than she quickly inserted that they do free re-piercings if it doesn't work out. Yeah like hell I would. I would've rated this place higher because of the professionalism my piercer had (i get it, mistakes happen), but the lady I talked to the next day was complete B****. She was rude, an hour plus late to open the store, and didnt even hang up the phone when I walked in. She had it on speaker!! Awful person.

Umbrella tattoo

Late but I got an umbrella tattoo there almost a year ago and it's still looking fresh compared to an anchor tattoo I got at another place on St Marks which looks kind of faded, if I had to get a tattoo at St marks I would go here

I brought my 6 year old here to get her ears pierced. They used disposable piercing guns. The piercer took her time to make sure that they would be even. Everything went smoothly and not a single tear. They even gave her a certificate. She was very happy with the experience and no sign of infection as I followed the aftercare instructions Price range depends on the earrings you choose but I paid a little over $100. I did not make an appointment just a walk-in and luckily they were available. In and out in 15-20 minutes. The longest part was choosing the earrings.

Tattoo by Mike, March 2017. He was distracted when working on it, and it's both crooked and uneven. I wouldn't recommend Andromeda.

I stopped here on a whim during a quick trip to NYC. I wanted a souvenir of my trip, and I didn't do my research before coming here before getting a tattoo done. That's my mistake, but I want to do my part to help save others who do their due diligence and research from coming here and getting a bad tattoo. I wanted the simple outline of a star on the inside of my wrist. Small, about the size of a quarter. I came in with a couple of friends, one of whom got a small tattoo from the same artist right before me. We were walk-ins (again, I know, bad idea). My friends stayed in the room with me and waited while I got mine done. The artist (Mike) talked to them a lot, meaning he looked at them a lot. Meaning he took his eyes off of what he was doing A LOT. I tried to keep his attention, but things had already gone off the rails. The star was crooked, and I could see no way of fixing it without making it a lot bigger and thicker. There was no way I was going to have this guy do it. I ended up leaving knowing that I just paid for something I was going to have get covered up and fixed soon, since it's the most visible tattoo that I have. I can't recommend Andromeda. Mike was nice, pleasant, and sociable, but sometimes, that can be a bad thing.

10/07/2015 First tattoo from MysticalMike at Andromeda Studio33 NYC. Outstanding work of Art better then imagined. Thank You!

I made an appointment and paid the $100 reservation fee online. I was reminded several times of my appointment. There is a website and Ms. Smith has an Instagram account with many photos of her work. There are many 5-star reviews here on Yelp. I live in New Mexico, where piercings are done in tattoo parlors by rough-looking men. That wasn't the experience I wanted. Ms. Smith is thoroughly professional and competent. She spent time with me concerning my previous earlobe piercings, which had closed up over time. She went over the earrings choices with details about stones and white vs. yellow gold. I never felt rushed. I ended up purchasing two sets of lightning bolt earrings with tiny stones, one pair in each gold color. She was meticulous in positioning and marking my lobes. The actual piercing of both ears was quick and almost painless. I was given an instruction card detailing home care of the new piercings. Clinical Ear Piercing by Rachel Smith offers a very professional and comfortable client experience. I highly recommend this business.

Clean, quick and nice little selection of earrings. I wasn't sure my daughter was going to get the second ear pierced after the first one but after a lollipop was provided, she mustered the courage for ear #2. She walked out skipping and smiling and so excited to show everyone her pretty new earrings. Highly recommend!

While picking out jewelry the gentleman gave me great advice. Judina did my piercing and she was absolutely a delight. She instantly noticed that I possibly already had them pierced. She attempted to see if the holes were open before piercing (which on was). She could've ignored it and still charged me but only charged me for a jewelry change and a new piercing. This instilled trust and because of the amazing service I will recommend this specific location to all my friends + family.

My daughter received a total of 3 piercings and I received one piercing - paid north of $700. The first time one of my daughter's piercings fell out, they fixed it with no questions asked, no documentation needed. It fell out again this morning, the person who helped us EVERY SINGLE TIME, asked for an original receipt before they put the piercing back in. We didn't have the original receipt and they only had the signed waivers (seriously?!?!?). The person who rang us out each time said the person who rang us out (you) must have not sent you the original receipt and the waivers aren't enough. We showed him the receipt where they fixed it a couple weeks ago and we weren't asked for documentation then and he still refused to perform the service without payment. We paid him the $65 and he told us to take it up with corporate (we will be) and kept saying how nice he was and we shouldn't be angry. The piercer had the nerve to want a tip after this interaction. Good luck with that! Niceness + incompetence doesn't = great customer service. Stay far away from this place.

I told both the piercer and manager upfront that I'm allergic to stainless steel and titanium. I was specifically assured that the bar, the part that actually goes through the ear, was solid 14 karat gold. It wasn't. It was stainless steel. I was also told the back was a screw back, but it was just a pop back. Weeks later, when my piercing wasn't healing, I had it removed and that's when I discovered the truth. For someone with metal allergies, this is a serious and potentially harmful. As for the manager -- he was rude when we walked in, didn't say hello and just asked if I had an appointment, but that paled in comparison to how he treated a grandmother who had come in excited to wait for her daughter and granddaughter for the little girl's very first ear piercing. He was really rude to her, and that's not okay. That's a memory-making moment for a family, and she deserved so much better than that.
