There is significant damage and Diego also was suggesting other services such as drywall removal repair etc. I told him to get me the quote for the mold removal as that was urgent and I had already been told that I should not use areas of my home due to the mold. when he left he said he'd get me a quote by the end of the week. End of the week came and went, I waited another week thinking ok maybe they wanted to read the environmental report. NOTHING. So I called a left a voicemail, no return call, I sent Diego a email at his ecoclean address, NOTHING. SO they came out and wasted my valuable time when response is urgent due to mold, even if they called back at this point I dont trust their services. Even if they are not qualified to do the work, how hard is it to return a call and say this is out of our area of expertise. Very unprofessional.

The crew to fix the damage was out the start of the next week and repaired the same day (I forgot the gentleman's name but also very friendly).. A few weeks later a neighbors fridge water line failed causing water to leak into my kitchen. I called the same team who fixed my bathroom, this time they were out within 3 hours to assess damage. The next day a crew was out to mitigate, with repair morning after. When you have to do this work it's very stressful, especially when you lose part of your kitchen for a time. But the RRR crew was great to work with, patient with my questions, and accommodating to requests (including wearing masks as I had a 2-week old newborn at home). I've used another service (CWF) and did not have the same experience at all.

He planned to put an outdoor mold and mildew remover (that is supposed to be pressure washed off ten minutes later) on our particleboard wall and follow up with a mildew cleaner. I told him that was not acceptable treatment of the mold and dangerous to our health (per a call to the manufacturer). He told me I was "overthinking it". A friend used Above Board several years ago and was extremely satisfied. Barton was able to come out quickly, knew what type of mold the "not just a stain" was, and treated the area with a commercial grade indoor product, followed by a sealant. His experience and knowledge were evident. I am so pleased and relieved that our mold issue was treated correctly by someone who knows what he is doing. Don't listen to your contractor. Get it mold handled correctly by Above Board.

On November 9th, 2018 our home was fully engulfed in fire. The next morning it was deemed unsafe to keep what was left standing therefore our home was then demolished and leveled to the ground. We lost nearly everything especially 3 dogs who were near and dear to our hearts...part of the family! Then the Servpro team terrifically headed by Aldo gently and respectfully went through every inch of the house. Politely asking me all along the way if I wanted to try and keep some of the things they found. They inventoried and took pictures of all that was recognizable and possibly recoverable. They took back to their shop a few things we asked them to remove the smoke smell from. A few weeks later we received them in such terrific shape. I cannot begin to tell you how deeply respectful and hard working Aldo, Alex and his team were throughout this very, very painful process. We lost our home of 15 years and animals. Throughout this whole process we were treated so cold and badly by the "big" companies, i.e, Comcast, State Farm and more.
