    Amazing show with Rick Thomas!!!!

Go see the Rick Thomas show!!! That illusionist is just amazing. Still cannot figure out the levitation of his wife is done - and then Rick also levitates! All of his tricks are too notch.

This is a nice theater. When we got out tickets late for a show, we were worried that we would not see the show well being in the top back. The ticket lady assured me, all seats have a good view. When we got there and sat...she was so right. We were about 6 rows from the top back and could see just fine. The audio was very good too. The only thing we didn't like was the set of doors near the top back. There are 4 sets of doors. All during the show, everyone going to the concessions or restrooms used the top back set of doors. It kept lighting up the back of the theater. This was very distracting and missed some of the show. Make sure to get there at least 1 hour ahead of show time. The parking lot does not accommodate well. This parking lot links to the Radisson and Shorty Small's resteraunt. If all the hotel residents used that resteraunt and theatre you'd be good to go. But, when there is a show it is hard to find a spot.

I had dinner at the Moon River Grill after watching the Andy Williams show across the street at the Moon River Theatre. The food and service are fantastic here. I had a glass of the Moon River merlot, which was great. And for dinner we had the chicken pot pie and the Ozark catfish. Both dishes were really good. The restaurant itself looks very chic and the atmosphere is pretty romantic.

It doesn't get better than this in Branson...unless you're kayaking on Table Rock LAke or Lake Taneycomo. Andy is THE MAN! The shows are excellent, the staff is awesome, the theatre and lobby is beautifu. Check out the coi ponds and kimono display. The musicians rock! Not too sure about the dancersnow-a-days, but from 96'-2000' they were amazing!

We were passing through Branson, but one thing was sure, we we going to whatever show was at Andy's theater. We even stayed in the Super 8 that used to be associated with the theater. We got there early so we could go through the gift shop/ museum and enjoyed the many items the Williams family had on display. As for the show itself.....Rick Thomas is amazing. His show was funny, and the magic stunning. His supporting cast was also very talented. See Rick.

I made a pilgrimmage to Moon River Theatre to see the Christmas Show. I brought home some bottles of water with actual Moon River water, that I will forever treasure. The gift shop has tons of tacky, Bransonesque goods for purchase. I love the DVD and CDs of the beloved Andy Williams, that are for sale. There is also a post card of Andy, shirtless and I recommend that you by 1 or 2 or 10, of those. The theatre is definitely not ADA compliant. The overbearing parking attendants don't allow you to drop off the elderly at the front door. The parking lot is, literally a 45 degree incline, but before you start scaling it to the theatre, be patient and wait for the shuttle that takes you to the front door. Upon entering the theatre, be prepared to climb the thousands of steps. There is even a step down into the restroom. Steps, steps and more steps, but Andy makes it all worth it!

Reminded me of my Grandparents and family singing alongs at our get togethers. The Stampede was very entertaining! Loved how the North and South duel it out - we were North! We won!!! As for the dinner... that startled me when our waiter just threw down a small rotisserie chicken onto my plate. Was not expecting that! Felt really barbaric... but I guess that's a cowboys life back in the day, around the campfire lol. I would recommend going. Fun time! She chatted with us at the beginning of the show and we were in the first row which I thought would be a great seat! You can order drinks via a QR code and someone from the bar area will deliver them and they will check everyone's ID no matter how old you are. The drink was not good. Tasted very watered down for lack of flavoring and alcohol. You do get a non alcoholic drink included I ordered the unsweetened tea and it took her a little bit to get it because it's not one of the pitchers they keep handy. She refilled everyone else's drink somewhat regularly and when I asked for a refill she had to serve dessert first which I understand the schedule but then it was pretty much almost towards the end of the show before I got a refill. Once they start serving the food the show is happening and as our server is quickly serving food down the row she is saying something about napkins covering your plate and before I can register what is happening I feel all of this sand hit me in my hair, on my shoulder and in my food. She knew when it was coming and it only happened once during the show but I feel like that was something she could have mentioned when she had our full attention before the show started. Myself and 3 other people in the row needed new plates of food. I know it's hard to make food for that many people all at once but the food was just ok. The chicken was good and the soup was ok. Pork was dry and corn was very chewy. As for the show the horse riding was fine. I think skeeter made the show with her comedy and I liked when they started the competition portion. Overall I wouldn't do it again and may not even suggest it to people to see unless you think it's something your kids would really love.

From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. I highly recommend the Showboat to anyone visiting and definitely upgrade to Captain's Club if you can.

Menu looks like it might be updated seasonally with the spring dessert being a vanilla cake with berry sauce and cream. I added coffee and our wonderful server brought it promptly. The Rivertown Ramblers are now the headliners. Seeing them perform before at Silver Dollar city I knew they were good but they have really put together a great show for all ages. Truly appreciate the way the honor birthdays, anniversary's, and veterans. A 40 minute intermission and the invitation is given to explore the boat meet the captain and take in a truly beautiful table rock lake sunset. They told us to arrive an hour before our ticket time but we I think we would have been okay even coming 30 minutes before. It's well organized but having that extra time for our first visit was fine. After dinner and disembarking we tried the trail around the lake because we were still full. Would 100% do it again. The boat bathrooms were a little different and stopped flushing but staff were quick to respond. Overall staff were great and attentive! Nice big parking lot. My only advice is avoid the 2nd tier side seating. Go for the floor or 2nd tier facing the stage. The side seating visually cuts off half the stage.

But I must be honest. I am surprised at all the positive reviews, and went there because of them. As others have said, the birds were impressive, though easy to know when they were going to appear and sometimes revealed too soon. I kind of feel sorry for the birds but maybe they have a good habitat outside of the show. I didn't write down names, but a middle-aged woman sang and was wonderful. The man doing impressions was embarrassingly bad at them. Also, the young lady that did the silk climbing was fantastic. She actually made me nervous about her falling but she knew what she was doing. Impressive! There were unneeded dancing numbers that added nothing. Then the magic. They are stuck in tricks so easy to figure out. They are tired and hackneyed. There was not one trick I could not figure out; they were that dated. These types of stage tricks have been around for decades and are so easy to figure out I knew what would happen before the reveal. Once, in the ol' saw a lady in half (which used two women), the fake legs were accidentally revealed to be pipes under the dress. I doubt it's messed up usually so it gave me a good laugh. Other reviews mention the gorilla bit. Kids might like it but it was pretty bad. Not funny and the "trick" is so easily figured out it is laughable. Again, Mr. and Mrs. Hammer seem like lovely people. He seemed tired and at times out of breath. Mrs. Hammer had a lot of energy. I appreciated the life background Mr. Hammer shared. The last trick, with a patriotic theme, I leaned over and told my wife what would happen and that exact thing happened. A nice salute to the troops but a boring piece of stage "magic." The show is very clean (except for some too-revealing stage costumes on the female dancers), and is good for kids. They will be impressed but the stage magic if they have not been exposed to it before or someone has not explained how they work. I'll say it again: Wonderful people from what I can tell, but the show is outdated, tired, and I cannot recommend it, sadly.
