What a wonderful show and a friendly guy. We got to meet him at intermission and he did a deal book poster and DVD for 20 bucks I got the poster and the book signed. He was very funny lots of skits and jokes. He's 100 percent full patriot and supports American through is paintings especially during 911 whenever he sells a painting the money goes to the families of 911. He talked of his life story of coming to America and becoming a citizen after immigrating from Soviet Russia. Come see him you won't be disappointed read more

It was a love fest for people that love Trump. I was offended by the Trump actor that said Let's go Brandon! It means F U Biden. I would never say put loud FU Trump! His second half of show was better when it was non-political. He was definitely playing to Trump supporters! Trump actor's wife came on our bus before show and said Let's go Trump! Maybe after election he can use other funny material. I do think he is funny. Then maybe he could fill his theater. For me i won't be back unless his routines change. read more

A huge disappointment. I had so wished for a show where we could laugh and have fun, instead we were subjected to a marketing campaign along with political diatribes that left us less than enthusiastic. Also, much of the show there were comments about women that were disparaging. Sigh! Not at all what we had hoped for. We made it through 30 minutes of marketing campaign, and an hour that included mostly political diatribes, to eventually leave at intermission. Will not recommend this show to anyone. read more

The show was funny. It was patriotic and made funny jokes. The seating was terrible, too tight. If I knew that I would have bought seats where you could sit every other seat. We were in front. Also there is a hard sell with his book in the middle of the show. The part that was the worst was my husband bought all the stuff (which I didn't want) and asked him to take a picture. No move . It didn't bother him but I did not like it at all. The popcorn was stale. So it's a good show, but the rest is a NO. read more

Went last night after wanting to go for several years. My sister went years ago and said they laughed for hours. He told stories of his childhood and coming to America. There were funny parts of it that I really did enjoy. But it was mostly storytelling. Also I guess he got a Doctorate in psychology and spent time analyzing laughter in relationships. I was looking for more jokes. I spent money to come to a comedy show, not a relationship lesson. Come on Yakov. Put the funny back in your show. read more

I'm sorry but this show is a joke!!! that guy is very rude! and wants to mock my child who is autistic. He moved us to the very back cause my kids were being kids. Just saw Yakovs show this evening and we loved it! He's naturally funny, the entire show was clean humor which is hard to find these days, and he's grateful to be an American. He knows first hand what it's like to live in poverty under the governments thumb and clearly doesn't take this country for granted! His lessons for finding humor will definitely stick with me. My favorite show, ....but that was years ago. Yakov hugged each and every one of us as we entered the theater. Except for one guy. He refused. It seemed to hurt Yakov's feelings. But that's ok, not everyone likes hugs from weird comedians. read more

Yakov is funny and has a good message for his adopted country. But the show also has singing, dancing, art, a ventriloquist, audience participation and this year a "presidential debate". It is good clean fun for the whole family with a man that has done a lot more with his life than you probably know (Dr. Smirnoff, really! Look it up!). You can also talk to him during intermission and after the show. read more

NO. JUST NO. If you have children that are kindergarten age then just stay away from this place. Yakov decided that he would tell my child (5 years old) who is autistic that he and his mom and babysitter and her kids needed to move towards the back of the audience so they were a distraction to his show. Last I checked this is the same man that's theatre claims FUN FOR ALL AGES. I AM LIVID. we spent good money to watch a comedy show and let our kids have fun for a little bit. We didn't even make it 30 mins into the show and decided that the disrespectful nature of him and the terrible comedy was enough for us so we left. Hopefully the owner sees this and does something about it. This was horrible. All we wanted to do was enjoy a night with our kids and let them experience something funny and have a good time. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO HIS SHOW. SHAME ON YOU YAKOV. SHAME ON YOU..... read more

We got close parking to the building and near the exit. When you enter; we went to the right side of the building. Once we got there, we took a picture in front of the building. Inside, we weren't rushed to go to the bathroom & get some concessions. We sat in the upper deck in the middle. Specifically, row KK seats 53 & 54. I've been to Sight and Sound 2 other times and sat in the lower seats... I think I would prefer to sit lower.... Up top, we could see everyone's phones on, people having to stand up and leave- which I know is so picky of me but I would pay the extra money to sit lower. I will say, a perk of sitting up top is the bathrooms and exit way to the lobby that is quicker to exit & way less crowded! The only thing is concessions aren't served upstairs (I think, not for sure on this) We saw David! My theological nerd of a husband had some beef with wanting more exposition especially with Solomon and the temple but I thought it was great use of the limited time they have! They walked us through his young boy years, Samuel anointing him, his relationship with Saul & Jonathan, hiding in the cave, becoming king, Bathsheba, and ended with his confrontation with Nathan and a redemption song. The emphasis was on David wanting to know God's heart and be known by God intimately. Really spoke to me personally in this season. I do think seeing Jesus was my favorite because it's the gospels. My husband says his favorite is Esther. But honestly, anything you see will be good. The ushers are amazing! They were keeping an eye out on anyone who needed anything-even working in the pitch dark to escort parents or children out. They have quiet rooms for families in the back & good seating for those in wheelchairs or anything else. At the end of the show, they have cast members and S&S staff available to pray with anyone who needs anything & they do an altar call for salvation, which is EPIC! They give space for people to encounter God and be walked through prayer.

From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. I highly recommend the Showboat to anyone visiting and definitely upgrade to Captain's Club if you can.

The lobby has a full service food stop for nuts, popcorn, hot dogs and drinks. The people are absolutely the most friendly staff and happy doing what they do. The theater could use a much better setup for restrooms as you get a quick 15 minute intermission and the women's, men's and food Line all co-mingle and block the theater doors. It becomes a complete mess but happy people just make it doable. Still something to make 1058 people "flow" through the restroom lines better would be helpful. We are planning already how to get back here in October. Love this place and the shows.

This was one place on my list of musts to visit for my teenager. I was looking for something fun…read moreand interactive for everyone in my family but especially him. When we entered it looked promising and after a discount it was right at $160 for our family. We also did the Fly-Ride on our ticket. The Fly-Ride to start was okay. It was fun moving around and feeling some water and being emerged in the experience. However, the graphics were awful. The video was blurry. Afterwards we went into the exhibit and a lot of it was run down. Shattered screens or out of order on some things. The area for selfies was a bit confusing. There would be games and then a random exhibit on Reagan or Big Foot. It was all awkward and did not flow together like one would expect. We didn't spend as much time here as we thought we would. To be honest my teenager was waiting for us on a bench at the end. It was not worth the price of admission.

What a wonderful evening we had! And what a great guy! We laughed and cried as we listened to Yakov tell stories of his childhood, of coming to America, and his life as an American. My husband was moved by the fact that Yakov is still so humble and grateful to be an American immigrant after all these years. He is a true entertainer who will not only bring laughter and tears, but will remind you of the days when we were proud to be American and were generous toward others. I have watched Yakov since he became big on the comedy scene in America in the late 70's and all the way through the 80's and 90's. The best part for me was getting to meet him and take a selfie with him. I wish we had more time to talk as I wanted to get his point of view on immigration as a true immigrant. However, his show is wonderful in that it combines his comedy with the telling of the story of his life. So brilliant and interesting and heartwarming! You are awesome, Yakov! A true American! Our first stand up show and it was amazing. He is truly an icon. Very friendly and personable when signing autographs. We were able to tell him a couple jokes and got a good laugh. Very interactive with the audience. Brought a member of the audience on stage to do a skit with him. Part of his act was an Inspiring story of his journey to the US. Is definitely a must see when in branson. Would go again. read more

We came for the main show, and also stayed for the Russian circus dinner show afterwards. The show is very entertaining and fun. A lot of jokes, very touching story told during the circus show. Actors and Yakov himself came out to talk to people during the intermission. Actors are high caliber professionals. And food .... it's catered, its ok, you don't come there for food. read more

I saw Yakov's performance at his theater in Branson. It was funny, heartwarming and though provoking all at once. Yakov is very humble and has great appreciation for what America has done for him.
