Several; days ago I called Andy's to get my washer repaired. When I called to make an appointment, I was told it would cost approx $200 per visit. I was able to explain exactly what was wrong as another repair person discovered the problem and was explaining what was wrong with the washer. Then Tues. am they called and said they need to move the first visit up to tues and the second when the part came in and when I asked, what two trip, "yes so we can put eyes on it. No one wanted to say that they would not charge for both trips, as the Tues call seemed to infer that service calls were charged for every trip. Now when I complained, they are un happy that I am not happy with them. read more

A few months later the same part "broke" and after doing my own research realized the technician did not fix it properly therefore causing the washing machine to never work correctly. I didn't have a problem with the actual warranty work done by the techs on my Fisher & Paykel, but over 2 months after the service date, I was called by Nathan H. from Andy's Appliance Repair asking for my range's model and serial #. Strange. So, I looked for it, was able to find the model but not the serial. Nathan insisted it was by the hinges, which it was not. I went out of my way to go through boxes of paperwork to try to find the number, and I did find it and texted it. When Nathan called again I stated I just texted it and you will have to send someone out to the house again if that's not acceptable. At this point, 2 months after the fact, this is a waste of my time. A few minutes later, I received an invoice over email with nothing but a write up of how "rude" I was: "Customer was really rude and said she texted a pic of model and serial." read more

Nathan from St Louis Andy's Appliance diagnosed problem, ordered part, and fixed our Bosch washer in 2 visits in Sept 2022. Bosch customer service center recommended another St Louis appliance company who said our Bosch 800 series washer was unrepairable after 3 visits, 2 parts, and over a 5 month time frame. My landlord called this place to service my non-working oven. It's really hard to get an actual time out of these guys first off and I finally had to go for "sometime in the morning" or "sometime in the afternoon." The first day the guy came and didn't really seem to listen to me when I told him what was going on, he just kept rolling his eyes. He fiddled with the oven for 10 minutes and sat on his laptop for about an hour, then left without telling me anything. I found out from my landlord the thermostat needed replaced and we didn't know when they were coming back. The second visit really made me mad. The guy took apart my stovetop to replace the thermostat and I happened to walk into my kitchen and noticed mouse droppings in the stovetop. I asked him if they were mouse droppings and he said yes, and there's the mouse and pointed at a dead mouse. I thought I would be nice and have my fiance come get the dead mouse out so the repair guy wouldn't have to. I waited for him to replace the thermostat thinking he would either a)clean the droppings out or b) let me know it was clear for me to do so. I came back about 10 minutes later and he had the stovetop all sealed back up. I asked about the droppings and, get this, he sealed it back up with the droppings still in there!! I asked what I need to do in order to clean them out and he said I can't, it's a sealed burner and it has to be taken apart to get to the mouse droppings. I I can't believe he did that, doesn't he know what a health risk that is to leave those in there, and I have an infant in the house! Airborne mouse feces dust causes all sorts of diseases including Hantavirus!!! How dare he not give me the opportunity to clean that up and instead left it to heat up and rot even more every time I use my stove or oven. read more

Called the Omaha office about a dryer repair. Guy came out a couple of days later and said we needed a new igniter. He would have to order the part and cost was between $230 and $240, on top of the charge of the first visit.( Cost for the new part was $21.00!!!) Felt that for that kind of money I would buy a new dryer. Sales guys at location tried to talk us out of it said all new dryers are "crap". Finally called another company and they came out said my problem was not the igniter, repaired it and charged us a total of $100. He even showed how they tested the bad part. It's been a few months since I've needed appliance help but the last 3 times I've had a problem Andy's has been great. If it breaks down it's going to be after hours or weekend right? Andy's answers the phone on alot of off hours. They are also good if I ask if there is anything I can check for or repair myself. Explained what the problem was. Gave me the price it would cost to repair. Cleaned up after he finished. Gave me a handshake and told me to have a nice weekend. Fast, Friendly and Affordable! We called Andy' s because my dryer was not working. Prior to calling I google to see what the cost of parts would be and maybe a service fee I figure I would get it repaired. Scheduled an appointment, he came within the time as promised. As I thought a fuse due to the build up-parts was $16 dollars and $199 for labor..to snap in a fuse here less than 30 minutes. Tim was nice tech, so customer service was not a problem but that $199 labor for a ripe off. I expected to pay $125 with the service call fee and parts, which I thought went towards the repair. I will not recommend this company to anyone. I should of went with another company that others had recommend. Sorry Andy your internet ad was what got me to call ya. But next time I will stay with peoples word of mouth. read more

Great service and knowledgeable staff. Had them out to fix our 3 year old broken fridge, which they did and gave us some great advice to call Wihirlpool and request an extended warranty. I bought it for less then the repairs would have cost from Andy's and the service contract was through Andy's anyway so I got my fridge fixed, under the new warranty, and I have a new year warranty on my 3 year old fridge. Whirlpool only offers this program if your fridge is not to old, but it was a good deal for me. I was so mad my fridge stopped cooling after only 3 years, but the Andy's guy said most major appliance makers just don't make things to last very long anymore. Sad, but at least I got it fixed. read more

These guys were great... I used them back in August right after I moved here. My dryer door latch malfunctioned... They were able to work with me on scheduling. They were very polite about it as I canceled twice with them. If I need an appliance repaired again, I will definitely call them right away. Great worker. Kind, polite, very helpful. We have generally been pleased with the service we've received from Andy's. The latest service, however, left us with one concern: the cost of their service. They charged $218 to put in a $24 kit, which took easily less than an hour. That is pretty steep. I did some investigating on the internet afterwards and found that I could have easily done it myself (in fact, I ended up doing it myself after a the 2nd failure). To Andy's credit, when the unit they installed also failed less than a month later, they installed another new fuse and thermostat at no charge. But it then failed again. This time, when my wife called, she was told that they would charge their normal $80 service call fee and the person didn't know if there would be additional charges and didn't offer to pass my wife to a technician to find out. When I called Andy's later and talked to a manager, he was willing to wave the service call fee but they couldn't come for several days (a good sign, of course, indicating that they are very busy). I decided to buy the part and install it myself. Hope that works. read more

We called for dishwasher repair. They were at our house the next day. They called with a two hour window and came when they said they would. The gentleman that worked on our dishwasher was very polite and knowledgeable. They had to order the part and were back with the part two business days later. I have been using Andy's Appliance for past ten years and have been super-pleased with them 90% of time. The only complaint I have is that it is hard to narrow time down but that goes for many companies that come to your home. It would be nice if they said early morning or late afternoon to help narrow that window down a bit. I always give them my cell phone and have them call me 20-30 minutes prior to arriving and since doing that I have been totally happy with appointment times. I am not 'stuck' at home for potentially 3 hours waiting for last appointment of the morning. The young man that has been to my house the most is super pleasant, always takes his shoes off and is helpful making suggestions for other appliances that I may have a question on. He even tightened the handle on my dishwasher...granted it only took him 3 minutes but he didn't charge me because he was already there. Travis,maybe? I apparently have horrible luck with appliances and I am happy I took service contract out with NFMart. We have had issues with three appliances that ANdy's took care of and one that another subcontractor did in past 4 years. I am certainly a fan of Andy's Appliance. We called Andy's because our ice maker wasn't working. We did a few things to try to figure it out but didn't know how to fix it. When Jeremy came in and asked us what the problem was we told him and showed him what we had done. He was very condescending when I said I had wiped off the water/ice from inside the door because 'how was he suppose to figure out the problem now'. In other words, shame on us for trying to figure out what was going on. Then things went downhill from there. Our refrigerator was tight in the spot and he said he couldn't pull it out. He just says "I'm not going to try to pull that out". So he gave us a price to fix the ice maker and valves (over $600)! I asked for a breakdown of the price and he wouldn't give it to me. Needless to say we called someone else, they came out and replaced the ice maker. It was so easy. He didn't think the valves needed to be replaced at this time, but if we still had problems, then he said he could replace them. Even though he wouldn't pull out the refrigerator, and left without doing anything we still had to pay the trip charge! read more

Horrible customer service. I set a appointment 2 weeks ago and they said they could come out on Monday December 28. No show. I call at 5:33 Tuesday and leave a message ( recording says" leave message and we will call you back) on machine to see what happened. Buy 12:30 the next day they had still not called back so I called again. They denied that I ever had an appointment and that I ever called them on Tuesday. How do places like this stay in business? Tech came out said its $104 if warranty is voided ok what ever but he was really abrasive telling her im not an installer and left. Well the dishwasher was leaking and i would think he would say what needs to be fixed and write an estimate for how much to fix the dishwasher for the $104. Would you be satified and happy? If your computer system went down the service tech came out said 104 up front in case warranty doesn't cover and went over and said well your computer wasnt set up correctly voids warranty and left you an unusable computer system with out leaving you an written estimate for repairand says im not an installer im a repairman walks out. Way to make an already stressed person worse with great personality. I hope the best. You won't get my business because if you can't explain what needs to be done to fix how do i trust you would do it right with honesty , integrity, and correctly. Our refrigerator recently starting having multiple issues.  We contacted Andy's Appliance and within two days, we had a technician (Clay) at our home on a Saturday morning.   Clay arrived at the time we were originally told, and even called us and gave us a heads up that he would be arriving soon.  We appreciated that Clay removed his shoes and put down a protective mat for his tools, etc, to protect our wood floor from any scratches.  Clay was able to quickly identify the problems with the refrigerator, and provide us with no-pressure options as well as costs for repair.  We appreciated that Clay was very knowledgeable and friendly, and this was overall a great experience! read more

purchased a washer and dryer set about four months ago and they went out as soon as the warranty was over and I tried to call and talk to them and see if there was a reason or if there's anything we could do to fix it I was guaranteed the washer and dryer should have lasted well over six months even though it went out in four. After calling and trying to talk to customer service and see if there was a solution and how much it would cost to get it fixed, all They said was that's too bad the warranty is over, and while I tried to explain my frustration with it going out as soon as the warranty was over and I'm trying to charge me a ton to repair it, the person I was speaking with continue to interrupt me about the three month warranty and how after that it's not their problem and that that's what I should've expected with a three month warranty anything after that is my own problem. I am very disappointed in their customer service and the products they're selling Not only did I have this problem but their installer hooked up my washing machine hot/cold backwards and broke my drain, then proceeded to drain it out my laundry room window and I had to pay to have a plumber fix their damage. I called to see how much it would cost for them to fix it willing to pay them a little bit of money, but after being interrupted and yelled at for 25 minutes on the phone I want nothing to do with this business and I will certainly never be purchasing anything from them again. I am extremely disappointed after my experience with this company and would never recommend it. Terrible customer service, I just got blamed for any issue and told once it's sold it's not their problem anymore. Trust me save yourself some time and go somewhere else :( read more

They showed up for a few minutes to determine the cause as needing a new igniter on our gas range. We were okay paying the upfront charge since our thought was to fix the stove and it was going to roll into the overall cost. We decided to go with an outright new purchase of an electric range and therefore felt we should get the upfront fee waived (even if we knew about it) given our previous business AND future business to come. We called and politely asked to waive this fee and were treated as if we didn't understand the upfront fee. That is fine, we did - we simple wanted some flexibility in that policy to keep us a customer. You can keep your ~$80 upfront fee, but will lose what will amount to hundreds of dollars of future revenue as well as ANY referrals coming from us. Good business practices would include flexibility. read more

The BIGGEST RIP OFF!!!!! First they charge you eighty dollars for a service call for every item needing to be quoted, then when you want it fix they over charge you for parts and labor. Some how a sixty dollar part and twenty four minutes of labor somehow costed two hundred and ninety three dollars with out the cost of a service call. After that they didn't even test if they fixed the problem!!!! When confronted all they did was talk in circles and offer me a ten dollar coupon. I almost checked the number to make sure I didn't call Andy's Rip off artists! Complete waste of money and energy would have been better off watching YouTube videos and buying the part myself. read more
