Whipped cream has been paired with ice cream for generations--it's part of the classic American dessert experience. To not even offer it is like a burger place refusing to carry cheese. It's not edgy, it's just lazy... Beyond that, the overall experience feels sterile and soulless compared to the character and nostalgia you get down the street. I went to Andy's last night on 6/1. I ordered a Bootdaddy Concrete because it sounded wonderful with caramel and hot fudge. I even went with the high priced medium for 7+ dollars. When I got home I was sadly disappointed! My cup was only 2/3rds full and it was already melting. There were a few oreos on top, but not many. As I ate it I wondered when I would hit the caramel and hot fudge. However, I never did!!!! The girl that made it put not one drop of either ingredient in it! And she was very unpleasant. What a ripoff. Stinks that ice cream places not only overcharge to keep profits up, but also save me money by not delivering on the product. I'm just going to family owned places in the future. So nice to have them in Palos Heights! They have a good variety of sundaes and toppings. The custard is delicious. I tend to have lactose intolerance, but surprisingly I have not had a problem with Andy's. read more

Ordered Carmel apple's and spent $60 Apparently they were frozen and when we went to eat them they were messy and mushy.... When we brought them back they didn't give us our money back. What a shame, because we really like the place but unfortunately won't be going back because the amount of money we spent was a complete waste. read more

Yeah! Today is opening day! Woo Hoo. It's 32 degrees and overcast but the custard is just right! My favorite is the hot fudge sundae with pecans. Mmmm. In order to get the real taste of the ice cream I recommend that you NOT order the mixer. It's better to savor the ice cream by itself and grab a bit of fudge or nuts, etc. from time to time. Andy's really have good custard! HOWEVER employees can really make or break your business! So I ordered a Medium Rico Suave Jackhammer which comes with hot fudge, roasted pecans, Oreos, I added an ingredient brownie pieces what did I receive when I got home, Oreo, 3 pecans, 2 brownie pieces No hot fudge, will not be coming back to this location again you guys have a lot of work to do in order to keep up with 95th and Cicero's location they never disappoint, it's an easy fix though just give the people what they've paid for and don't skimp. that's all and Out! read more

Andy's is both good and bad. The good is everything I have ordered from them but the bad is that because of the first comment I have going there about twice a week. The staff is friendly and helpful and they practice Covid-19 protocols. I am very happy that they opened in my area. I just hope that it is not to crowded come summer. read more

Ok is the best rating that I can give this place. The frozen custard tasted like frozen custard. Nothing special except the price. Perhaps the custard is imported from the frozen north, that would explain the price. read more
