    Pad Thai Noodle
    Amelia T.

My friend really dug into the fried rice and she gobbled it up. The pad Thai was so smooth it basically was like peanut butter. The wait wasn't long and the sparkling drinks were not only pretty but pretty tasty. The concentrated syrup at the bottom was a rush. The rose contrasted the clean environment. It was cool we had two different plates for more options and two different waitresses for more options. (They respect their workers time). Shout out to the lady who gave us her egg rolls and sauce (the egg roll sauce + chili sweet sauce) very flakey. Kinda Parisian, lil Europe inside Thailand. BTW: We had to pay in cash Okay! Served

Pad See Ew Noodle ( TOFU )

My co-workers and I were craving some Thai food so we ordered for pick up at Andy's Thai Kitchen for some Pad See Ew and calamari! I ordered a Pad See Ew with Tofu and I really loved how well balanced the flavors were! Some Thai restaurants tend to make the pad see ew too sweet and watery but they made it perfectly at Andy's! They also added shredded carrots and and colorful vegetables to make it look so delicious and beautiful. The crispy calamari was pretty good! I asked for lemon on the side because it didn't come with it but they only had lime so make sure to ask for one if you like to put lime on your calamari! I only walked in to pick up but the interior was very spacious and clean! I can tell how properly they maintain their restaurant by how bright and welcoming it feels. I noticed that there were lots of seating for so it's perfect for people who are thinking about coming in groups. The service was great! I only went in to pick up but they attended to me very quickly and was very friendly and accommodating! Overall, really like this place and will be coming back (hopefully for dine in next time) Tip: if you're doing a pick up order make sure to ask for utensils if you need it! Utensils didn't come automatically with my order.

CASH ONLY. My friend told me about his place so I figured to give this place a try. AMBIANCE: Parking: It's in the suburbs so either try street parking or metered parking. Seating: Inside seating is good for solo, pairs, and small/large groups. It can probably Feels: It's right off of Diversey subway exit. The area itself can get loud here and there with the trains passing but aside from that, it's a calm suburban area. The place itself is pretty calming with soft jazz/elevator music along and minimal clean decor of homages to Thai culture, a tv showing how their foods look like, and a few recognitions on the local newspaper. Great place or a food adventure, hanging out with friends, or for family. FOOD Basil Crispy Pork Belly(Recommend) So many choices and unique ones too! Going solo I ordered the Basil Crispy Pork Belly subbing the rice with rice noodles (New Year Superstition). It was delicious! The pork was relatively crispy despite being well-marinated with good seasoning and sauce. The basil leaf brought a refreshing flavor, the garlic gave it a nice kick, and the mushrooms complimented the umami flavor to things and the chili provided a subtle yet nice heat to the dish. The rice noodles were able to extend my meal as they were marinated well in the sauce. Deeelicious! Melon Sparkling Soda (Recommend) This was something different! A unique transparent drink that was sweet and reminded me of bananas moreover. It was good at it was sparkly and sweet. CUSTOMER SERVICE: May was my server and she was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Awesome! California has a lot of Thai places but this place is certainly unique. They have a wide range of selections, the prices were good, and the experience was pleasant. I really wish I did order more but this comes to show how much of a foodie town Chicago really is. Great job to Chef Andy and his team. If you're in the area do consider trying this place out. TIPS: * Moreover reminders: Cash only and come with a group so you can share and try more choices.

First time stopping in after their remodel! If you've visited before, you'll remember there weren't too many tables for seating. The space has so much more space now and the interior has really been brightened up! As an friendly FYI, they are a cash only establishment. I will not be surprised to see more businesses going this route, especially small restaurants and stores. Hopefully you all can continue to support them! If you want some delicious Thai food, sit down and relax and enjoy great attentive service. Or take it to go! Worth it either way!

Reminder: cash only! I met up with friends for lunch and ordered the green curry with chicken. Good portion size and very flavorful. Definitely want to come back and try other dishes! Staff is friendly and I like how this place is also BYOB.

This is a great spot if you're looking for delicious Thai food! The food is flavorful and prices are fair. It's cash only, so come prepared! We got the basil crispy pork belly, wild boar ped pad curry, and pad Thai shrimp omelet. Everything was delicious and portion sizes where pretty big! We had enough leftovers for another dinner for the two of us. My favorite dish was probably the pad Thai shrimp omelet (although all of the dishes we got were very tasty). I'd definitely recommend the place if you're in the mood for Thai. There's a wide variety of curries, noodles, fried rice, and other specialty Thai dishes and you can't go wrong.

    Spring Rolls
    Sam L.

Great ambience right when you walk in! Nice flowers and decor on all the tables. I ordered the spring rolls, the plating was great and they looked amazing. The flavor was not bad. My friend ordered the mussaman curry, and it was delicious. Definitely a solid spot for thai food! I would go again if I'm in the area.

    Pad Thai with chicken
    Lynn K.

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only diners in the restaurant but I noticed several to go orders being picked up while we were there. Two of us had the Pad Thai with chicken. The portion was huge and the presentation was beautiful. Spice level was as requested. The rice noodles were a thin vermicelli like noodle instead of the flatter noodle. Another diner had the Panang curry which he really enjoyed as well. Love this little place. Please go there.

Im back with a new favorite to add to the list and that is Garlic Pepper sauce with your choice of protein. We got tofu. It was savory similar to pad Thai sauce only more salt less sugar. It's really good. All my previous reviews stand.

I loved that they kept the flavors consistent with how I remember non-vegan food being. And it was such a good concept for the Baja taco to fire avocados as a substitute for the fish. Definitely recommend trying the red salsa to top off the tacos and the sangria to pair with your meal. As far as the ambiance goes, the music was fun , the windows were open, and the vibes were summery and fun. Decor could be slightly more up to date but it didn't take away from the experience. Highly recommend the crab rangoon + soulful platter. ===== Stopped by one weekend near opening and was able to get seated right away! They have a good number of tables outside and inside and seem overall fairly popular since there were already a few tables before us. The menu is huge and had seemed to be mostly Asian-ish, with some other items sprinkled in. We ordered: - crab rangoon - 5/5 - very tasty and light, sauce was a great complement - soulful platter with 'chicken' wing - 4.5/5- loved the variety of components. The 'chicken' wing was a highlight and had great texture and flavor; cornbread was also really tasty. Mac and cheese had a strong nutritional yeast flavor, which I enjoyed, but kind of wish it were more cheesy. Mashed potatoes were ok. Generous portion of collard greens. - mush love - 3/5 - huge portion, but the breading was very thick and crunchy. I wish the individual pieces were split up more and the breading a bit lighter; i also wish the sauce were the same as the one for the crab rangoon. This one was more of a bbq. Definitely would come back to try more items on the menu! I was intrigued by the drinks, though they were extremely expensive (e.g. 9$+). Staff were friendly, and I appreciate the disclaimer on the menu that they pay their staff a livable wage.

Typically, I reject these dietary labels, as what we all eat is food. Simply food. However, I'm also not someone who is all "OH EW, VEGAN STUFF, NO." I will not only never say that, but I will ALWAYS try something new. You should too. ON TO THE FOOD. I had heard talk of their Ramen, so I immediately ordered that. OH MY GAWD. It is so good. It tastes like "regular" ramen, but is 100% vegan. There was a strip of stuff (it was seitan) that looked like the pork belly that typically comes in Tonkatsu ramen. How is this not meat?! It was SO GOOD and had the texture of meat. But it wasn't meat. The broth is silky smoove, savory and . . . my gawd, I drank every single drop. The noodles and veg things that typically come in ramen were there, and just delicious. Writing this review, I am now craving this ramen. I took home an additional order of this ramen for my BF and he became obsessed as well! We had a couple other appetizers that were fantastic too! Some breaded mushroom app that was super tasty. I'm typically not a breaded food fan, but this was light and crispy and really tasty. The interior is spare, uncluttered, full of light and spotlessly clean. The staff is so helpful, friendly, and earnest with answering any questions. No booze, it's BYOB, but they have a lot of Kombuchas to try! A neighborhood gem that I will now keep in rotation when dining out.

There's plenty of street parking in the area, I went on a Sunday, so meters were free. The interior is bright, green, and inviting, with lots of seating and great natural light coming in from the front windows. There's also outdoor seating, but it was a bit too cold the day we went, so we stayed inside. Service is counter-style, and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. It's fairly simple, but still fun and satisfying. I ordered an Impossible burger, tater tots, and a strawberry almond milk smoothie. My friend got fries, so I was able to try both. After over 40 days without fried food, I was especially excited for the tots and they did not disappoint. Overall, the food was good and solid across the board. Nothing that completely blew me away, but definitely satisfying. If you're vegan or vegetarian and craving a classic burger experience, this is a great option. The smoothie was good as well, though I personally prefer fruit-forward smoothies with lighter juices, so the almond milk base wasn't quite my favorite, but it still complemented the meal nicely. Overall, if you're looking for a casual sit-down spot with a cute atmosphere and a solid Impossible burger at a reasonable price, Elephant + Vine is a great choice. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
