The show was long and the crew really put their hearts into the performance, it was amazing and well worth it. The venue had some low parts of the ceiling but they were flexible to work around it thankfully! Highly recommend

We hired the team of lion dancers for our wedding and they did a spectacular job! We went with 2 lions. I've never seen a full performance so I don't have anything to compare it to, but they were fun and exciting. They also did the lettuce and orange eating

We surprised our guests with the lion dance and it was definitely one of the highlights at our wedding! The crowd absolutely loved the performance and went wild the entire time. It's an amazing way to celebrate culture and also provide entertainment for your guests. They exceeded our expectations and did a great job at interacting with everyone! Tyler and his team are very friendly, professional, and talented. I highly recommend hiring them for your wedding/event! Our guests could not stop talking about it the entire night and after the wedding. It was also a lot of fun participating in the performance as well :)

We hired Ane Thanh Lion Dance for our wedding and our guests LOVED them! They definitely know how to work a crowd. It was so entertaining to watch them pretend to eat people, twerk, and do stunts while making their way through the guests' tables. The kids had so much fun "feeding" them. 100% worth it!

I contacted these guys via email almost a year before my wedding to secure a date and time for a performance at my wedding. They promptly answered all my questions, and were upfront about my options and the cost. I was a little surprised that there was no contract or deposit required. As far as the selection of the Lions - they have many different colors for you to choose from. Most were yellow, red, or white -- and some have a combination of those 3 colors. Since we selected 2 lions, we were also given the option of two scrolls/signs to display at the end of the dance. My husband is Chinese and I am Vietnamese, and they were able to accommodate both languages. The signs said something like "1000 years of happiness" and stuff like that. Prior to the wedding, Michael from Ane Thanh contacted me to reconfirm my reservation. He was very responsive to all my text messages, and confirmed my previous selections. He was also very flexible and patient with me as I changed the time of the performance a few times, which I know is annoying of me -- but I really appreciate his kindness and understanding. On the day of the wedding, the Ane Thanh crew punctually arrived at the venue, and delivered an amazing crowd-pleasing performance. Our Asian families were thrilled with the festivities, and our non-Asian friends were excited to witness a super fun part of our tradition and customs. We placed our payment (in the form of cash) into the mouth of the dancing, which was both amusing and enjoyable! Our guests were also able to participate and feed the "lions" some tip money to thank them for putting on a great show. It's considered lucky to feed the lions some money, and those athletic men/dancers truly deserved their tip for being exceptionally good with kids as well! The lion dancers also performed around me and my husband (we were sitting on chairs) while they strutted their stuff. It truly made us feel special as a new couple, and I am so thankful for the smiles and memories they brought to my family and friends. This company is made of talented dancers and men of their word. There weren't very many reviews of business when I booked them, but I am so glad I trusted them with the biggest party of my life. They are honest and upfront - and they know how to deliver a badass, amazing show!

Very talented group of performers! We hired Ane Thanh to perform a 15 minute lion dance during our reception. It was definitely one of the highlights of the evening. Everyone enjoyed it, especially since no one had expected us to add something traditional for entertainment. If you're looking for something loud and high energy be sure to consider a lion dance for your event (it doesn't have to be a wedding). Booking them was super easy and everything was through email for us. We selected our two lions, gave them the time and location, and everything was all set. Thanks to the team at Ane Thanh for creating a unique and memorable experience for us!

My first review. Yay me! I was lucky enough to get Ane Thanh to perform at our wedding on Feb 8th this year. Yes, during Tet. First off, they are super professional. I had been working with another group but they kept wanting to do less and less and did not sound committed to showing up and doing a great job. When the group we had booked back in June started whining, neither of us wanted to just drop the lions. Having lions was something I really wanted for my wedding. My husband had only seen them in parades but was very excited about having the lions. I thought, I'd rather work with someone else so I looked around. These guys were so easy to work with, no hassle about what we wanted clear pricing, immediate communication, and flexibility. I was already more than happy to cancel with the other group thanks to Ane Tranh's professionalism. Then there was the performance. I grew up with neighborhood Tet celebrations. We had lion dance battles some years. So I've seen my share of lion dances. Their performance was top notch, the guests were not familiar with lion dance, it was a complete surprise and they all just loved it, as did we. They were a huge hit. The lions are well maintained and obviously loved. The performers put a ton of energy and spirit into the lions and really created characters for them. The acrobatics were exciting and fun. We were very happy with it. All the children and most of the adults wanted their pictures taken with them and in every single one, people are grinning from ear to ear. I highly recommend them. I'm trying to think of excuses to use them again!

Beautiful evening performance by Mike and his team
    Kim T.

Mike and his team are FANTASTIC to work with. I contacted him about 4 days prior to my Wedding Ceremony (an outdoor venue with about 100 guests). He was absolutely accommodating, very nice, and pleasant to work with. They arrived just in time, checked out the venue, strategized with me on the best route to take (I wanted them to go down the winding staircases leading to the guest tables), and did their magic! The audience was a mixed crowd and three quarters of them had never seen a Lion Dance live before. They were so astounded and thought it was one of the highlights of the evening! I rented two Lions to come and perform. They were beautiful and the stunts were spectacular. Highly recommend Mike and his team!

Fun celebration for our birthday with lion dance.Everyone was surprise and excited.

Excellent job!!!! All of our guests from young to old enjoyed the lion dance performance. It was a complete surprise to the guests. I personally will recommend your group to family and friends. Michael has been responding to my request quickly. They came on time. Hurray for this group. Our theme was chinese it tied everything together. Thank you for coming and making our double birthday celebration a success and wonderful experience.

We only attended one Mini K-pop trial class and did not enroll, but I'm sharing our experience to help families decide whether this studio may be a good fit. TLDR version: Based on our trial, the studio told us it did not have the capacity or specialized experience to support my child's ASD-related needs. It may be a better fit for children who can participate independently, follow a structured class format, and are interested in more serious dance training rather than a casual recreational class. Long version: Not leaving a star rating because we only attended one trial Mini K-pop class and were not enrolled clients. I'm sharing our experience to help families assess whether the studio may be a good fit for their child. Before the trial, I emailed the owner to ask whether the class might work for my child, who is on the autism spectrum. He responded promptly and was transparent that the instructors did not have specialized experience or the capacity to provide the level of support my child may need. He still invited us to try a class so both sides could determine whether it was a fit. I accidentally arrived on the wrong week, but the owner was understanding and allowed us to participate. The instructor's teaching style was structured, direct, constructive, and firm while remaining respectful. My child attended with an ABA therapist, who provided reminders, redirection, and support throughout the class. After observing, the owner told me that the studio would not be able to accommodate my child's needs in its regular class environment. He also shared that the level of support required during class could be distracting for the other students. I understand his perspective and appreciate that he was direct rather than allowing us to enroll in a program that was not set up for my child's needs. Still, it stung as a parent. When you see your child making progress at school and in social settings, it is hard to be reminded that some environments may still not be accessible or appropriate for them. During the class, the other children appeared to notice that my child needed more support and was not keeping pace. Our therapist later told me that some children had asked questions among themselves about why my child was different. They are young children, and I do not blame them, the instructor, or the studio. But it was still a difficult moment for me as a parent. There were also a couple of practical reasons the program was probably not the best fit for us: (1) I was looking for a one-day-per-week recreational class, while the front desk staff explained that the program generally expects a two-day weekly commitment so students can practice and retain what they learn. That expectation was not completely clear to me from the website. (2) The class appeared best suited to children who can follow directions independently and who are ready for a more structured, skill-focused dance environment. I was looking for a lower-pressure recreational activity focused more on enjoyment and socialization. Overall, it was not the right fit for our family or the studio's current program structure. Families seeking a structured dance program may have a different experience. Parents of children who need individualized behavioral, communication, or therapeutic support may want to ask in advance about the studio's ability to provide accommodations. The communication style also felt fairly direct and "tough love," which may be worth considering for children who respond better to a gentler approach.
