Came in to watch Toy Story 5 at Regal with my family. Very cute and good movie. It gets you in the feels. Disney didn't mess this one up. My favorite toy story movie is 3 followed by 5. Hubby got a small popcorn for the kids to share. Employee that helped us at the counter was friendly. Reclining seats were comfortable. Theater was not at all busy when we were there.

Very nice and clean movie theater! Nice customer service and bathrooms were clean and tidy. They have regular seats as well as recliners you can choose from. Their concession stand is well stocked and the popcorn was fresh. I wouldn't mind coming back here if I'm in the area!

I've been coming to the Regal in Garden Grove for many years and I have seen the changes which have been good and I love the discount on Sunday. I will continue to come to this theater

They really need to hire more concession workers because the line to buy food during a weekend took at least 30 mins. There were only four concessions open and a lot of customers were getting irritated waiting. I think they do this intentionally to get people to buy more food due to all the waiting. The line is also next to the merchandise shelves so it's likely they hope people buy other items while waiting. Unfortunately, the popcorn bucket I wanted to buy was out of stock even though they advertised it as available on their concession screens. It was disappointing to wait all that time and not get to buy what was advertised.

The theater is EXTREMELY run down. The seats are falling apart. A lot of seats are not available, not because they are taken but because they don't work. The shopping center that this one is located is very nice with lots of great shops. If I am in the area I will go here but not worth getting out of the way. They never put the paper towels properly in the woman's bathroom and half the faucets are scary to use. The theater is clean and the bathrooms are very nice. The theater looks pretty on the outside. You can tell the employees maintain what they can extremely well. It needs some TLC from the big guys.

Chainsaw Man reze movie is such a 10/10 movie. perfect. However asking around the audience and the employees, told me that they were not shipped any chainsaw man trading card set. what a bummer... Regal itself has old recliner seats in tis standard ticket, which is fine. the ad run before the movie was roughly 20-25 minutes before the movie actually started. Don't bother contacting them by the phone number at all, it would go straight to fax at both the edward's long beach and garden grove location. nobody bothers to pick up the phone anywhere. Nobody is in the outside windows in front like the old days of selling theater tickets upfront, so people including myself these days just buy it online. it's better to watch the movie before 3:00 pm in the day so the cost doesn't get high.

Highly recommend Regal member $7 Tuesdays. New movies are included. They have new seats! Popcorn is good, depending which staff you get. Some are extra nice and gave some a lot of butter :) The place is very clean and check in is fast.

    - I often watch movies with my family at this cinema. Firstly, because it is near my house. Secondly, the ticket prices are cheaper than other places. - As for the food, the popcorn is pretty standard. But I hope they update the caramel popcorn flavor regularly. It's really good but every time I buy it I'm told it doesn't have that flavor. - Their screen is pretty sharp and the sound is great, making my movie watching experience very enjoyable. - Finally, the theater space is relatively spacious, the aisles are big and easy to move around, and the seats are soft. However, what disappointed me the most was their cleanliness. The last time I went to see someone here, the space smelled bad, trash and popcorn were everywhere and they hadn't been cleaned up yet and they let customers sit in. It was really a very bad experience. - I hope they can fix their hygiene soon.

They recline but not all the way. Since its so small every conversation, every candy wrapper, every recliner echos. If you have sensory issues this is your warning. I repeat $9.00 for a early showing and $12.00 for evenings. Military and law enforcement get a discount. 3.5 rounding up.

The employee who helped me was unbelievably rude from the start. She had a very condescending tone, barely acknowledged me, and just stood there in silence while I was trying to order, like I was inconveniencing her by being a customer. When I tried to show my ticket on the app, she told me to zoom in. I couldn't, so I offered to just read it out loud to make things easier. Instead of working with me, she snapped and raised her voice saying she has a hearing aid. Okay... but how does that justify being aggressive and unhelpful? There was zero patience, zero communication, and just an overall hostile attitude the entire interaction. It honestly felt uncomfortable and unnecessary going in the movie. It's frustrating because the theater itself is perfectly fine, but customer service like that completely kills the experience. I shouldn't feel like I'm bothering someone just to watch a movie. Wouldn't come back unless they seriously improve how they treat customers at the front.

After going to Insomniac's Park 'n Rave, Drive-In OC pales far in comparison. I came for Gareth Emery and since I bought GA tickets (which are first come, first serve), I arrived 5-min before gates opened. The security will not let you in until 4:30pm on the dot so we had to wait in the strip mall across the street. By the time we were let in, we were probably the 20th car in line. Somehow after security was done checking our vehicle, we were luckily the 2nd car to actually go into the venue and park, so we had an amazing view in the first row of GA, which is basically the 4th row (first three rows are VIP). I love their food and restroom system, which is all done on their app/website via QR code. Major plus. And their restrooms aren't port-o-potties, so even better! There were also some food trucks that you could buy directly from. Food is average event prices and obviously will not be the best-tasting food. Just good enough to suffice you if you're hungry. You are allowed to bring in your own sealed water, although now looking at the new rules, they've now limited the size per individual, which I don't like. Speaking of limitations, at that time, each car was allowed however many people as there were seatbelts in the car. So if you had 8 seatbelts, you were allowed 8 people in your group. Looking at new rules, the maximum is now 5 people. I'm not sure if this is because of COVID or if they're just greedy, but I'm not a fan of this new limitation especially since 5 is such an odd number. Another thing I wasn't a fan of is the stage and sound set-up. The stage is tiny and looks like one of those stages they do at free events. There are two screens, just as small, so it must've sucked for those in the way back. The sound system is a regular PA system and although they had extra speakers set-up in the center of the parking lot, I heard from friends that the music could be barely heard in the back. They have a channel on the FM Radio so you can blast the music in your car, but my friends who went to Kaskade said it wasn't in-sync and lagged behind the actual music a bit. Even in the 4th row, which was really really close to the stage and sound, I could easily have conversations with my boyfriend and not constantly scream, "What???" at him. This may be a good thing for some, but personally, I think it lowers the concert experience. I want to feel the music and bass bumping through my body lol Now the thing that upset me the most: social-distancing and spacing of the vehicles. The staggering system is great, and the 160 sqft of dancing space next to your car is nice too, in theory. They did not have any railings dividing these sections forcing everyone to keep to themselves. When you have concert goers inebriated, they are not going to stick to their own areas; that's just a fact. And the lazier ones trying to sneak to the front to get pics are going to cut through rows and walk into your private space instead of walking around the rows of parked cars. Since we were in the front, people were constantly walking through our private dancing space and it was rude, uncomfortable, and annoying. I think recently, they decided to add pink ribbon to divide the spaces. Pink RIBBON. RIBBON. Lol. What the hell is ribbon going to do? People can easily walk under it or just pull it down? There's no sense of safety or security at all (not to mention incredibly unprofessional, ugly, and cheap-looking). I'll be attending Gareth Emery's Laserface next weekend and I'm only going because I'm a huge fan and I want to support him during rough times. Not looking forward to the shitty sound and lack of social-distancing security.

One thing we really liked was the vintage feel of the theater it has a classic charm that you don't find in many newer theaters. That said, we were a little disappointed that the seats did not recline. My fiancé has back issues, so sitting in a non-reclining chair for the length of a movie was uncomfortable for him. On the positive side, the concession portions were huge. We ordered a popcorn, a Coke, and some candy, and we were very happy with the size and value. One thing to note is that the restrooms are located on the mezzanine level, which may not be the most convenient for everyone. Going to Disneyland twice-a-year until getting annual passes in 1984, it was almost obligatory to see "Magic Journeys" at the Magic Eye theater, just for the 3D effects, and certainly not for the plot: kids watching kites turning into birds and moons turning into witches, with magicians, clowns, and dandelions unblowing themselves. With a haunting Sherman Brothers soundtrack, it was G-rated fluff with a tinge of acid fever nightmare. "Captain EO" in 1986 (1986-98, 2010-14) was exciting at the time and the movie never got boring, the 18+ times* I saw it, probably because I loved the two songs "Another Part of Me" and "We Are Here to Change the World" (where I eagerly waited for Jackson to shake "Spot" like a salt shaker--sss-sss, sss-ss). *I saw it 12-21-86 (first time), 5-3-87, 5-6-87, 5-10-87, 7-3-87, 9-15-87, 4-22-88, 6-2-89, 8-22-89, 10-18-91, 7-10-92, 2-25-96, 2-26-2010 (2x), 3-16-2010, 8-27-2010, 12-7-2010, and 4-25-11. It was another part of me. Part of the fun of Magic Eye Theater was walking by and gauging the timer, making the decision to enter early and wait by an entrance to run to the middle (even though they tried to make us go all the way to the end) or enter late to avoid waiting. But what better location for a theater? You leave the darkness and re-enter Disneyland. In contrast, I saw "Honey I Shrunk the Audience" (1998-2010) just twice (12-17-00 and 2-17-03). No offense to Rick Moranis, but it's probably why Marquis Ventura hit him.

On our most current visit, it was hosting an exclusive sneak preview of the newest Disney feature, Big Hero 6. Normally, one would think it would be nothing more than just another movie trailer, but they would be sorely mistaken. The sneak preview lasted about 20 minutes, during which time actual scenes from the film were shown... and with all the bells and whistles of the Magic Eye Theater, we wished we could see the full length movie inside (or at least have the movie theater we watched in have the same features). Good place to relax and kill some time inside Disneyland - especially on a hot day. We plan to go back again when Captain EO Tribute is playing.
