I used to come here three years ago to have Lisa wax my eyebrows (when I lived in Paso Robles), then we had to move... I was so sad to leave Lisa! I have since moved back to Paso Robles, and was so grateful that Angel Nail Spa was still here. Lisa does an amazing job waxing eyebrows. She gives meticulous attention to detail, and is also very quick, clean, gentle, efficient, and super friendly! I also love when she does my manicures and pedicures. She is very creative and we have great conversations. I see her there every time I go in; she is such a dedicated and hard, honest worker! Sometimes my kids (ages three and nine) come with me, and they love her too. She even let my daughter play with her phone to keep her entertained! I absolutely love this place. The only place in Paso to get your nails done... I'll recommend it to the death, as they treat me like gold. Had a Shellac manicure chip (by my own doing accidentally) after a couple days at work, and when I called, they fit me into their schedule 20 minutes later and gave me another coat to last longer. I'll finally have to go back next week to get a new mani but only because my nails are growing out. STILL no chipping and that was a month ago! Ladies... Go here!!! One word: quality. read more

This was my first time here and I will definitely be going back. They were great here! They gladly took us right before closing and I got the best pedicure I've had in ages. I always looked past this place since it isn't all pretty from the outside but the inside looks just like any other place and it felt clean and nice. The pedicure chairs are the massage chairs and they were great- super quiet and they weren't painful like some other ones. I had some pretty severe callouses and notified them of it and the guy worked super hard at getting rid of it. It was magical. I've been to a couple other places in town and have been unhappy with the service and/or the job they did so stumbling into this place was a happy surprise. I got my first "pedi" today at 75 years of age. I decided on Angel Nail Spar, as it's close and has good reviews. I got right in, no problem, no wait. Not that I'm that lazy of an old git, but with the hip bursitis that's been plaguing me lately, as well as being a well-fed 75-year-old, the calisthenics involved in doing it myself does not present a particularly easy task in my present condition. Angel's is very clean, and I have to tell you, it was v-e-r-y nice. Even though it was just the basic pedicure, my tootsies and even lower legs got a wonderfully refreshing spa treatment. I finally found my nail salon! They take their time with you even if they are already past closing time. There were two of us and we both got the Deluxe mani & pedi ($47) which includes the paraffin wax on both hands and feet, plus callus removal. My favorite part is the scrub (callus removal). I found my technician (Kah) taking her time with my feet, making sure she was getting the rough spots, not just doing the "next step". My favorite, FAVORITE thing about this place is their cleanliness! I used to be a dental assistant so I recognized the little packages they took their equipment out of. It is clear that they use an autoclave to sanitize their equipment. Impressed. My daughter now come here on our way to the central coast and then have sushi next door (really good and not too pricey). We;ve done this twice and I'm impressed with the quality of the service I have received here. They are always sweet with my 11 year old, too. Loved the deluxe pedicure. I was a little hesitant going to a new place after going to the same salon for years. And let me tell you--I couldn't be happier with the results! Disgusting. Unsanitary. Wouldn't go here even if it was free. I have never written a review before but this deserves one. I am a recently graduated cosmetology student in town for the holiday and thought it would be nice to get my nails done. This is the most unsanitary and unsafe nail salon I have ever seen. I know what rules businesses have to follow in California and this place followed none. Especially during this time with covid, I was appalled. There was no sanitation of any tools. There was a bowl of acetone with nail clippings in it from the previous guest. The towels weren't even changed between clients. The nail artist was switching between three clients (who were not together) without sanitizing hands or tools, using the same clippers and files and drills/drummels (which should not ever be used anyway). I would recommend no one go here, and I'm also reporting them to the state board licensing department. Absolutely livid about the disgusting swap of germs and bacteria that could cause multiple infections or worse. read more

Asked for an appointment for my wife and I. Was told to come in at 415-430. We show up at 4:20, they sit us down together, great but wait they only serve one of us. Lol I'm sitting watching my partner get a mani pedi while they didn't even give me hot water to soak in. It's now 4:50 and I have not even been acknowledged in the mani pedi chair. I tried some other nail salons in Paso and was quite disappointed. One hurt me, the other rushed through things, but Angel nails does a great job! I often get pink and white acrylic fills, and the guys has a special "polishing" he does instead of top coat, and it makes the nails look amazing. It also lasts until my next fill, which is awesome! Go for the work done, not the ambiance. They do good pedi's, shallac, and pink and whites. I can never figure out their pricing though (accept for pedi's). It's kind of strange. But none the less, I will continue to go back. I've had brows waxed on three different occasions, and twice, either the wax was too hot or skin was ripped off. Needless to say, I won't use that service again. I think she's in too big of a hurry. But the nails and toes look good, and always last about 2-3 weeks. read more
