I tried this nail salon out of convenience since it's right down the road from where I live. Pros: Atmosphere was overall really nice and pricing was fair. I liked that they have all their polish colors listed in books (like a menu) for you to look at while you're relaxing. The pedicure I got was fine. Nothing special but no complaints there. Cons: The manicure was messy and didn't even last for a full 24 hours. The male employee really rushed through it and it was noticeable. Before I left, I had to ask another staff employee to clean up my nails...so much polish on my finger and uneven where the polish meets your cuticle. Also as I was paying, another woman came in saying she needed her nails fixed for a wedding because whoever did them the day before didn't do it right the first time. Fast forward to the next day, the polish started chipping off. Ended up going to my regular salon and just did an entire polish change on my hands. The lady that was in charge on last Thursday 8/3/23 was/is very rude. I can even say argumentative. All of the ladies I'm guessing don't speak or understand English well. So I repeated what I wanted multiple times. I wasn't requesting anything special. Just and mani and pedi. They don't ask you if you want anything to drink and when you ask them she the manager made it seem like it was a problem for her. All three ladies worked on me and the other customers that were there. They were playing musical chairs it seemed like. I brought my young daughters in for a manicure. One ended up just getting her nails painted and they were extremely careful to make sure her small nails looked good. They were very professional and nice to her. My oldest had a dip full set, they did an amazing job! She had a picture and they helped her pick out the colors she wanted and made sure the shape was exactly what she wanted. I was debating posting this but after talking to others felt it's necessary for safety. I've been here multiple times. It's always just OK. I never loved my nails but it's near my house and never has a wait. Tonight I went and received a horrible CHEMICAL BURN. My left pinkie is swollen, bright red and has a number of small blisters that formed within minutes. Go on yelp under my review for pictures. The tech showed what happened to the manager (same woman that checked me out) and it was still FULL PRICE! I paid and left on the verge of tears because it hurt but more so I just feel very taken advantage of. There are too many nail salons in Fort Worth that have better customer service, human decency, work and atmosphere to return to this location. I see you post on other reviews about calling to fix it or you wish you had known on the spot. Well in my case you did and nothing was done to make it right. I appreciate people and businesses that do the right thing in private as well as public and will go there moving forward. The staff was friendly but the work was the worse I've ever gotten my nails looked like they were a few weeks old right after leaving the shop. This was my second time coming to this nail salon.. the first time I came my nails were uneven and lumpy bc she applied the gel in a messy way, but I decided to give them a second chance. Not to mention Jenny cut me several times along my cuticles while doing my nails. When I told her, she just put alcohol on them which was painful, no apology or anything. I had a two very good technicians work on me while I was getting my pedicure from Kevin. Both technicians were very nice and friendly and made sure that everything was to my liking. I had a bad experience today with them recently! My nails were hurting because she didn't clean the gel around the cuticles and and two nails were crooked. I went in today and they didn't want to fix them. They said wait a couple of days it will stop hurting. This isn't the first time I have had nails done. I go every 3-4 weeks. I have gone to Angel Nails 7 times with no problems. Today when I went in I asked for a spa manicure with nail polish only. I usually get gel nails or dipped nails. Horrible service I asked the lady if she can do dip nails with white and pink with the powder that has a light sparkles she said yes. Well she ended up putting where ever she please not the colors I ask for. Then I told her I like my nails as natural posible because I don't like them thick. Service is bad! Well, I saw the bad reviews and went anyway. The place was empty. The tools used did not come fresh out of a pack or the sterilizer. The file was used. The manicurist cut my cuticle too much and it's sore. She didn't get al the old nail polish off and what she did try to get off she used a combination of nail polish remover and her fingernail to scrub it off. While she was trying to scrub it off with her fingernail, I had to tell her that I was in pain. She gave me the quickest massage she could (it wasn't a massage). She got lotion all over my jewelry and sleeves. She never asked me to remove my watch, bracelets, rings or push my sleeves up because she knew she was about to do a quick half job massage. I had to ask her to clean my nails, she wasn't going to on her own. She then tried to take her nails to clean mine! NO! I said, you can't do that, it's unsanitary, use the tool. She then took the nail cleaning tool and swiped on time under each nail picking up dirt, not wiping it off on the towel after each fingernail. So, she was basically taking dirt from one finger and placing it under the next. It was gross. Another lady took her place and she was no better. I didn't even want polish. I just wanted to leave. If you want to be rushed out with the possibility of nail fungus and treated like your money is not good money. Then this is the place to go to. read more

I went to Angel Nails twice today. The first time, I went in as 2 other women went into the salon but decided to run an errand 1st. The second time I went in, I was told that I needed to make an appointment for sometime next week (the 2 women were there from my 1st visit as well as several others who were not there before). I asked when I could make an appointment. The lady says her earliest is Monday (it is Saturday). I asked what time on Monday (I work several jobs). She says 2:30 pm, I responded by saying I needed to check something (schedules on my phone). As I am checking my schedules, the nail salon phone rings not 15 seconds later. She tells the person on the phone they are booked today but asked if the person could come in on Sunday (the nail tech grabs a schedule behind her and is preparing to write). Several of the ladies overheard the same conversation and simply looked at me (yes, I was paying close attention and listening). The person on the phone said she needed to check her son's schedule and would call back (the nail tech asks her for her name before the lady hangs up- so no she did not know her). When she gets off the phone, I calmly call it to her attention that while she just told me Monday, she told the other person Sunday. I asked if she had Sunday appointments. The man next to her said something to her in another language (Vietnamese- I am a certified ESL teacher). She then looked at me (rudely) after he finished speaking and said yes. I asked again what time. She says 2:15 pm, then turns away while I am still standing there (did not ask for my name). I asked her if she needed my name, she looks at me for a moment then grabs the schedule. I gave my name but have no intention on going back. When I got home, I called and asked for a manager, she answered. I asked for the information of the owner. She 1st said he was not there (he lives in Indiana and gives me an 806 area code for a Kevin....no last name ...I did ask twice). The area code 806 is for the Amarillo/Lubbock area. Next, she says, he is too busy to talk and proceeds to hang up in my face. I was neither rude, loud, or disrespectful while I was at the nail salon nor when I called. Please find somewhere else to patronize. I do not know if she did not want my money for whatever reason or simply could have cared less.They are extremely rude and disrespectful here! What was to be a Mother's Day gift to myself turned into a lasting memory. read more
