they recently renovated the interior and I suppose that came with price increases because I was charged $60 for a plain, no polish full set that are incredibly short. i left the plain pink that comes naturally from acrylic powder with a clear top coat. ALSO, my cuticles were cut 3 TIMES and not once did she apologize or ask if I was okay. Alright I wanted to like this place, but the nail technician who sits at the end far from the register. Middle row older lady is terrible, 1st time she had done my nails was bad. I had to come back the next day and Alaina made it nice. 2nd time, I took my daughter to get her nails done. Again she didn't do a good job, the overlay filling was on top of my daughter cuticles. 3rd time I go in just to take off the overlay. OMG she couldn't even do that right. I paid cash and she didn't even give me 20% off. So maybe she's not very smart and doesn't know what she's doing. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent service I received at Dreamy Nails salon. I have been a loyal customer for over five years, and during that time, I consistently received high-quality service. My nails previously lasted up to three weeks with shine and durability. However, during my most recent visits, the quality has noticeably declined. My nails began chipping, cracking, and breaking shortly after my appointments, which strongly suggests a change in the products or techniques being used. When I addressed this concern directly with Jackie, the response I received was both unprofessional and dismissive. Being told that the condition of my nails was my fault--specifically that I was supposedly holding my hands in a way that caused polish to drip off--was completely unacceptable. The explanation I was given was not only unreasonable, but it also placed blame on me instead of acknowledging a legitimate concern from a long-time client. After five years of loyalty, I expected far better treatment and professionalism. While I am disappointed that it has come to this, I believe it is important to be transparent about my experience. read more

I called to book pedi for 3 ppl and asked for a future appointment. They insisted we could come next day a.m. We arrived on time and waited about 10 minutes to get in. Then they soaked our feet without anyone coming to help us, about 20 minutes- until the water had become cold. My nail tech went on to be very rough and yanking on my feet and legs to get them where he wanted them. Insane service, will not return. Left my punch card at the drying station. Good luck. The place I went to before, the dip on my nails would fall off within a week and a half. When I go to dreamy nails they last FOREVER! I went to Miami Nails for the first time this past Sunday! I saw one of the older ladies in the shop that did a full set gel on my nails. She was very polite during my whole experience. While she was doing my nails I noticed some inconsistencies with the gel and pointed it out. When I got home I was disappointed because they were uneven, to thick, and not well sanded down. I called the store about two days later and talked to DANNY! Danny told me to come right in so he could fix my nails. When I went in to get my nails fixed he was very kind and friendly. I could tell he was a little irritated with either the nails or the person who did them. He did not charge me for sanding, and putting new color on. I thought that was super kind of him. Usually nail salons will charge you 10 dollars to fix something. Overall, I'm pleased with their customer service and how well they handled my situation. I am a super picky person when it comes to my nails but I guess lesson learned. Speak up! I do recommend Miami Nails Update: I went to little Danny this time and he was AMAZING! Awful! This was my first time here and I will never return! My sister made appointments for herself, my 2 nieces and myself. We first walked in and everyone was really nice.. but that's about it. I wish I would have gotten the ladies name who worked on me, but I was way too upset. (Older, short lady with short hair and glasses.)I showed her a picture of what I wanted, very simple, natural nails, but wanted a full set with dip powder. She sits me down, starts prepping my nails and doesn't even give me the tips I asked for. She proceeded to do my nails and was super, super rough! She went too far down on each of my nails and cut each of my fingers. Every time I said "ouch, you're too rough", she kept grabbing my hand to pull it back towards her so she could keep working. She would take my hand and shake it to loosen up, but you're making me bleed! Of course I am not going to be comfortable. My right thumb nail was bleeding so badly that she got up and got glue to put on my finger to stop the bleeding, who does that! She finished and I was super upset. My sister also was not happy with her nails either. As we went to pay, we spoke with the owner and she had the nerve to ask me if it hurt! Gave us 5% off and we left. Later this evening my boyfriend proposed to me and close up pictures of my hand look awful because of all the redness and dried blood around my cuticles. STAY AWAY! read more

I came in to get a manicure and pedicure with a couple other ladies. We each got basic pedicures and manicures. I had originally asked for a no chip before finding out it was double the price of a regular manicure. I kindly asked, before we started, if I could change to a regular manicure. I'm not sure the woman's name who did my nails, but she was very rude and insisted that a regular manicure is not what I had originally asked for and not the polish she went and got. I would have understood if she had started a no chip manicure already, however, I asked before she even started painting. I was really disappointed in how she responded to my request. I was originally entranced by the impressive Yelp pics of rad nail art and well done manicures. And, again, they had availability for me and a friend for a last-ish minute appt on a Friday afternoon. Let's talk deets: 1) Color selection: Fairly impressive, for both no chip and regular polish. 2) Cleanliness: Clean but not overly modern. I'd love to see a bit more effort to individualize tools etc per customer. Not cleanliness related, but the scent of acrylic was super strong the day I visited. 3) Staff: Friendly and polite, but a lot of conversing between staff during services. This doesn't bug me too much but I know folks who it does. 4) Price: Affordable! $35 for a basic pedi. Cash tip only. You do get what you pay for in terms of (lack of) extras with your pedi. So, overall - Miami isn't my go-to, but it was decent in a pinch! read more

Wonderful! Called ahead of time to ask if they could take walk ins, and they said to come on in: after walking in they directed us to wash our hands first for COVID, which was smart. Picked out color and got seated immediately. Staff were very kind and attentive. Julie did my nails and she was professional and personable, and paid attention to details. Got the Deluxe pedicure and it was amazing, the pineapple coconut scrub smelled delicious. The massage chairs were so relaxing. The store was clean and sanitary. All staff were wearing masks and plexiglass screens were utilized for safety. Overall great experience and my nails came out wonderful. read more

Recently moved to the area and went to this place solely based off reviews. Made an appt for 5:15 and wasn't taken back until 5:40. Ken did my nails, he was able to do the shape I wanted however polish job isn't the best. Not sure if it has anything to do with the color of the polish(giving the benefit of the doubt here). But my pedicure, worst pedicure I have ever received. The guy who did them had no idea how to polish toes. He took almost an hour and half on a pedicure. He kept smudging polish on my skin. When he wiped the polish off; he ended up taking polish off. Pic below for reference. It was bad. Def not worth the $30 for a pedicure. The salon is kept very clean and I've always felt safe I usually get a pedicure and dip manicure. I don't have a favorite tech as they are all good. They have plenty of nail polish to choose (around 1k colors) and many designs. Pedicure chairs are super comfy and they have usb charging station! We went to this place for the first time over the weekend and will never go back. The guy who did my nails, was extremely unorganized. He didn't have anything prepared at the station he was working at. Kept getting up to get the items he needed to do my nails. He started filing my nails and kept filing my skin on two of my fingers and now the skin is raw, hurts and stings. The design I asked for was sloppy and the lines were uneven. My sister came with me this day and asked for acrylics and dip powder. Her nail tech didn't do anything she asked for. She was an older women, and literally cut every single one of her fingers with the filing tool, and then when she bled, the tech used super glue to stop the bleeding! Spoke to the manager who decided to give her 5% percent off! WOW, are you kidding me? We will never go back to this salon. If I were able to give ZERO stars here, I would. read more
