I shouldn't have to correct a nail tech, but the audacity of this nail tech really didn't care and had me walk out with my nails like this as her completed service is absurd!!! As little as small details on the pictures she left acrylic on my skin while she was doing the application. she was very messy. Her lines were rushed in. I don't recommend to give your time and money to these people because they don't put their time for it. They only want your money. The simple fact that I came in a slow day and left with very disappointing nails. They have no consideration on the mistakes that are placed. They will let you walk out there and take your money . This was a simple request. I asked for more details, but I stopped there after noticing many flaws and lack of professionalism. This was my first and last time going there . there's dents on my nails the polish is uneven and very bumpy my nails are catfish from far. Don't come here ! I have been coming here since it was opened as a nail salon. I always have an appointment, and typically am taken on time. As far as their work quality, my chip or dip, will last more than 2 weeks. Although over the past few months, I have NEVER received such horrible treatment at a place where you are supposed to be pampered to feel good about yourself. The rude comments were not even able to be tolerated today from certain employees. I had an appointment today and the person who was to do them had become sick. This is fine, except for the fact that no one called me, so I sat there for 15 minutes before being spoken to. I was then told to come back tomorrow or maybe after Christmas, or just go somewhere else. I said I couldn't, maybe someone could at least just take my nails off. I was scheduled for nails and a pedicure. I asked why no one called and I was told they were working and too busy. I work in a field where unexpected items happen all the time- no one could call?! Or rearrange their schedule to make accommodations or accommodate a manicure or something?! Certain people were being double booked- yet it was unreasonable for me to ask just for my nails to be soaked off?? A new employee soaked my nails off. I asked for something that was clear to be put on if he had time. I was told by the nail tech next to him to 'get up and look at the colors myself- what I can't walk'- I didn't reply to this rude comment and he continued and asked if I heard him. This is not the first time this employee within the past few months has been rude for no reason. My nails look horrible. The color is not clear, they are not filled evenly and the polish is uneven. I was charged 25 dollars. It by no means was the fault of the new employee who was trying to help. I payed him and gave him tip. I will however NOT be treated like garbage by the existing employees. After 15 years, countless baby gifts for their children, extra money for their vacations, and being nothing but thoughtful to them-and I deserve this?! I have a feeling this stems from one time my nails were not done correctly a few months ago, and I asked for them to be re-done. They were not done correctly because the existing employee was too busy falling all over new clientele, took me 20 min late, and was rushed to leave and forgot the top coat so they were matte. The past few times it has been noted that they are giving out their personal numbers to arrange appointments to certain people. The favoritism is out of control. If they like you or you are new, or management is present, you are treated differently. Some people get 'special' treatment, others just mocked and given mean remarks. Even when I attempt to ignore it, it does not stop. There are a lot of nail places out there. This place was close and convenient, although until the attitude is adjusted, I cannot take it anymore. I was just going in and minding my own business, and letting the snide comments go- but today crossed a line. Cannot agree more.They never try to squeeze more money and services out of you, and they are quick - but you still get an amazing outcome. I really like the place and it is usually not SUPER busy, but there are always 2 or 3 customers in the rooms. So not too tight, but you dont feel alone as well. Minor thing - that's why 4 and not 5 stars: the armchairs - I dont find them super comfy & the massaging hurts more, so i leave it off - but that might be just me. read more

I will never go back there again. I have never had a NO CHIP done with only a top coat for polish. No Base coat or nail polish, only did the tips and ONE top coat! I had told them I had very weak nails and within 1 day, 3 of my nails ripped. I can't even cut them since the rip is so low. Never again, not work the money or the pain! read more

I went to Amies last week after hearing amazing reviews from friends & I was nothing but disappointed. I got a full set with no chip polish & the man doing my nails REEKED of cigarettes & made my nails extremely crooked & did not do the shape I had asked for. After telling him multiple times that he was doing the wrong shape, he continued with the same shape he was doing before. He did not speak english & did regular polish after I told him I had asked for no chip & showed the no chip color I had wanted. Also, he took longer than any other full set I have ever gotten. I DO NOT recommend coming here as the environment is the workers yelling and the salon being dirty. The workers were washing dirty tools in the sink that the customers use to wash their hands during a manicure. I have been a customer of this nail salon for a few years. Although, they were never very friendly, they have gotten almost rude. I have had my nails done by one the male employees and not only is he rough, but even if you try to talk to him he ignores you. I was also repeatedly told its better to make an appt. The sign on door says walk ins welcome. So I decided if I am going to make an appt. I am going to ask for who I like the best. Then I was told that they all do the same work I don't need to request any particular person. The short answer is they are not equally good nor equally friendly. I will not return to this business. HORIBLE! I got a pedicure and when the instrumets fell on the ground they sanitized them in the same tub that my feet were in. I also have an infection on my toe after they cut my nail to short. They made me bleed and never cleaned it, they just kept going with the service. I will never go back again and I don't suggest anyone else goes there either. read more
