Very nice salon, it's in the same strip mall as home goods/TJmaxx. I think it's funny that's it's called Rock Star nails, but they played country music the entire time. I will no longer come here with my family and friends. I called on the phone to make a reservation for my three nieces to pay for their first manicure pedicure. I arrived like five minutes later and the front desk manager had jumped in the chair to have a worker doing her feet while she is screaming at me across the room. I had been warned about this front desk Manager by girlfriend and I never believed it. I had asked for the owner Brian in which I have always had a good long relationship with and she rudely replied I should have came last week if I wanted to see him. Absolutely took full advantage of me and my boyfriend. Went in with no knowledge of add ons as they weren't listed. Was quoted with just an $85 fee. That's. It. I was charged $153!!! When I asked about it the boy at the counter said he didn't know anything. Then they gave me a fake discount of 10% when in actuality it took off $10. Not 10%. I was treated with disrespect and was ignored when I talked to the techs. They laid the acrylic wrong and shaped very poorly. When I got home it only took a little snag for my entire nail bed to come off. MY. NAIL. BED. CAME. OFF. I knew the vibes were off when they made me wait an hour. Then took an hour just to prep. I wanted this to be a great experience, but it fell short. It was my birthday and I just wanted a little pampering, this was not the place. There was a language barrier so everything I asked for was not understood & there was no one there to translate. This was super disappointing to say the least, a waste of $130. First the pros: Deluxe Pedicure w fresh citrus was great, came w paraffin, hot rocks, massage, scrub and a mask for your feet. Massage could've been firmer but overall it was good. Cons: I got a full set and the nails were uneven and the shape was off on a few. When I told the manicurist she said she didn't have time to fix it because she had another customer and went and got the manager. The manager took $11 off and charged me $130 for a full set & deluxe pedicure. The nails started to lift after a few days and one fell off. I have to remove them to prevent a fungus from growing. My toes were cut too short and there was lots of cuticle nicks around my nail bed. I asked for a simple design of a flower and was given a Christmas poinsettia. They rush me to pick a color and I'm not even given time to really look before I'm being told to sit down in the chair so they can start taking my nail polish off. And then I'm unable to communicate with most of them because they don't speak English well. When I'm asking a question about a color or about the shape of my nails or they're trying to ask me a question sometimes I can't even answer because I don't know what they're saying. I'm from out of town and had a French no-chip manicure done at this establishment. I paid $48 not including tip ($10) and my manicure started chipping within 3 days. Walked in today, no appointment set. As a walk in I expect to wait since appointments usually take priority. I was seen in a decent amount of time didn't have to wait too long. The whole process today felt rushed, I get it they're busy and want to get people in and out but don't make it feel like it's a race. My manicure was done by one person and pedicure by a second one. Both felt super rushed and instead of feeling relaxed like you're supposed to when you get a mani/pedi I just felt like in a hurry. I went in to get my nails done for a wedding and came out hating my nails! My appointment was for a full set with no chip manicure. The gel on the nails are streaky and bubbly, the tips of the acrylics are poorly placed and the shapes are crooked. I asked for almond nails and came out with some almond and others circles! Not only is my pinky nail completely crooked, but also left me bleeding. Now I'm stuck with $60 terrible acrylic for a wedding I'm a part of on Saturday and can't afford to get them fixed! Even when I brought it to her attention she just ignored it and occasionally filed my nails thinking it was going to make a difference when all it did was make them more lopsided. UPDATE I reached out to the manager about getting them fixed and he agreed even though he couldn't believe that his best nail tech could of messed up so he asked me to send him pictures. The manager than called me today after speaking to his nail tech and was upset that I posted a Yelp review. And when I proceeded to tell him that I told Kelly that my nails were bubbly and misshapen and ignored me, he said that that's not what she did as if he saw what happened (which he did not) and proceeded to tell me and I quote "If Kelly couldn't make you happy, than none of my nail techs will" so ladies and gents moral of the story is save your money and go somewhere else unless you want to go home with a terrible nail job or be sarcastically harassed by the manager!! read more

I have been going here since the day they opened. everytime I went I got a different tech as nobody had wowed me until I got Ha 4 years ago. From that day Ha was my go to girl! she was amazing and always got a dip with no chip done in 45 mins (and my nails were always amazing) prior other techs took an hour and 15 mins to do the same service and my nails never came out as good. a couple weeks ago I went in to get a nail fixed and Ha was not there. it took over an hour for a tech to fix one nail. Much better when it first opened - like most things they have not kept up their standards. It's dirty - with accumulated dust (I assume color dust from the drills they use to remove polish). My French manicure was ok - not anything to brag about. I'll likely only return if I can't find anywhere else and I notice it's been cleaned. It's the whole experience that matters. read more

After the nail tech was done I went to check out and I had asked her about the pricing she put her finger up in the air and said hold on. She made a phone call to the owner. This place is beautiful & everyone seems personable except the lady in the front with the heavy makeup. She is not warm & welcoming at all. However I needed a fill and got the most basic fill with pink acrylic and it was 40 dollars?.?. Isn't that the price of a full set? I know prices have gone up but can we at least get better quality service along with the price increase. One time I went here for a full set of nails and no chip polish and was surprised when they said they charged to shape the nails! I have never said anything but, they have now raised their prices they now are skimping on services as well! I went for my regular dip /cuticle did not get the full service. In addition, their chairs are disgusting and stained! I cannot even imagine what is on them! I want to bring a towel to sit on. I worked in an office with way less turnover an I cannot tell you how many people peed on the chairs which we immediately removed and they were professionally cleaned regularly. I get my Acrylic nails done by Kelly and my pedicures by Ha. Two fantastic people, everything always looks good when I leave. Brian the owner is friendly and always makes you feel welcomed. Only draw back to other salons is they don't do your cuticles with every nail service only manicures. For the cost as it only takes a half hour to 45 min mostly half hour, it would be nice to include that and not have to pay extra to have it done. I walk in fill out a sheet of paper at the front stating what my name is and what service I am getting that day. Lately I've been into getting my nails dipped and absolutely love it! Today I got a pedicure and dip manicure. I have dip powder stuck to my fingers all around my nail beds. My pedicure was rushed and to be honest my feet are not soft. I am a runner so I'm hard on my heels etc, I got this to help get some of the dry skin off and to help them look a bit better. This photo is after my 20 min pedicure. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! The salon is deceiving because it looks nice, COVID signs, and complimentary beverages. The front desk girl acted as if she did not want to be there. Once I was escorted to my seat, they kept switching my nail tech in the middle of the service. The second nail tech was being externally ROUGH. She kept stabbing me with her nail. Once she started to file, she filed so hard she CUT 2 OF MY FINGER, not the cuticle but the skin. I said OW but she KEPT FILLING this happened again with the nail drill too. I screamed so loud and told I would wash my hand. (Sanitary reasons due to BLOOD) she asked me why. The nails were not shaped or painted properly. When I told the front desk, they were confused and only gave me 20%. Now my fingers are swollen, and B in so much pain, and it's my dominant hand. They charge still charged me almost $30. read more
