I've gotten other designs in the past as well and they alway do a great job. The pedicures are also great, especially if you get one of the packages with a massage included.

They do such a good job, lots of attention to detail but it's also super quick too! Kaylin did this set for me and it took about an hour. The salon has a calm and relaxing vibe and they offer you tea, water or sparkling water! Overall great experience I would go back! They also use hybrid gel instead of acrylic which is much better for your nails :)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I appreciated that the salon was able to get me in on very short notice at the end of the day[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], however I am very disappointed with my service, especially for how much I paid for a shellac mani/pedi. My nails are chipping bad on day 9. I've never had a shellac manicure chip on this tips like this so quickly. The other thing that occurred was that when I got home that evening and ate dinner. Soon afterwards i had a disgusting nail polish remover taste in my mouth for the next several hours. I realized this salon didn't do the rubbing alcohol wipe down on my nails after the shellac that all other salons I have gone to do. It was horrible.

I want to love this place. I've gotten some really good manicures and pedicures here and the people are very nice. It's become hit or miss and more miss than hit lately. If you get Lily or Jennifer you're going to get a great manicure. Otherwise you probably won't. This is my last manicure and this is less than a week old. I got gel and the man doing the manicure does not have an eye for the details. Once upon a time I would have recommended this shop but I think it's time for a new place. I've had really good luck (that seems to be all I can say - you just get lucky or you don't) at Roosevelt Nail Bar. They're a little more expensive and seem to be harder to get into but definitely worth it the times I've been.

I find it interesting that some have complained about the prices here because I found Angel Nails to be a good bang for your buck. I got dip nails with tips and a pedicure for under $100, which is unheard of in my experience! They turned out great! I'd say my only complaint is that the first time around the dip was a bit thick and the second time around they left it a bit too thin so it didn't last very long. They also don't put any liner on their foot tubs, which can lead to bacteria building up in the jets, though I personally have not had any issues! Just something I noticed. I will definitely be back!

Going to attest to the fact it's #1 salon in the area! My first visit was In August of this year, and I've gone routinely since then. All of the nail technicians are precise, detail oriented and consistent. I work at an animal hospital with my hands every day and I get upwards of 2 weeks on each gel manicure. ANY other place I've been to, they lift or chip shortly after getting them done. I also have to keep them short for work, which they always make look wonderful. I have mostly stuck to my gel manicures but I've also received a wonderful pedicure. My friends in the area come here also and have nothing but nice things to say. Their prices are reasonable and clearly posted or you can just ask. They are slower now due to COVID, especially weekday mornings, but they are taking proper precautions to ensure the safety of the staff and clientele. Thank you guys so much!!

I've been here three times now, and it's easily my new favorite nail salon. It is a little more spendy that I'm used to, but they do a really great job and are really friendly. They also include a beverage with your service which is great! Lily did my nails today and she was awesome. I highly recommend. They also have at least 100 colors of the powder dip which I did last time and it lasted three weeks. read more

I absolutely love this place! Tina and Chi are so nice, accommodating, and are truly vested in making sure your visit to Angel Nails Spa is wonderful. Their salon is clean and all of their polish is beautifully organized. (I'm a sucker for organization and color coding ) They also have the biggest selection of shellac colors I've ever seen! I've been there only 1 time before today, and they remembered me and that I had a friend visiting from out of town last time I was in. The atmosphere is relaxing and my nails/toes have looked great both times. What a hidden gem! Best customer service I've ever received at a nail salon. They accommodated a last minute appointment for me via yelp, greeted me by name, and made the whole experience very comfortable. I received a pedi and shellac mani and Chi did an amazing job. Tina is very friendly and welcoming. It is so refreshing to see staff members who have such pride in what they do. Cute, clean, small salon. Recently moved to the neighborhood from CA and tried to find my new nail salon. Tried every single one within a mile radius and while a couple were ok, so glad to have found Tina and her new salon. Not only is she super nice, but she does a great mani/ padi. Icing on the cake is her vast selection of polishes. Sometimes I just ask Tina to pick for me because I can't. This is my go-to place for a self-care day! The atmosphere is calm and quiet, and you feel welcome to stay a while, instead of being hurried out like you might feel at other salons. Wonderful experience at Angel Nails and Spa with Tina. Brand new salon is super clean, tastefully decorated, very attentive and personable customer service. Arrived few mns. early and was immediately greeted and seated. I LOVE MY NAILS! Tina was very attentive and took her time to ensure my nails were created to perfection. I have the Cat-eye finish. Prices are slightly less than some of the higher end salons. Tina's attention to detail was wonderful;!my mani-pedi was completed with a light necklace-shoulder massage. This is for a visit back in January 2020 so I hope they have changed things. Went with a friend. Made afternoon reservations that they made us adjust. Gruff. Got there to see 80% of seats empty. My foot soak was cold and she poured in insufficient warm water and immediately started oiling up. No soak time. My friend's water was scalding and they had to cool it. They did cursory massage, then grated our feet with a microplane. Considering we are not Parmesan, this was not comfy. My friend kept saying ouch and flinching and her technician didn't let up. You know how you get in a situation where you feel stuck but keep thinking "well I'll just give them another chance. I'm sure that was a fluke"? Well, we felt that and it was going so fast we couldn't catch up or interrupt their conversation to speak up. No base coat for red. One coat with top coat. Paid too much for full pedi. Out of there with such cheap sandals they broke on the way to the car. That was not at all relaxing. read more

I went today for a deluxe pedi, and the only reason why im not giving this place a 5 star is because everything was so fast. With the deluxe you get a sugar scrub and hot stones but both of that was probably done with within 5 mins and I feel like if youre paying abit extra the massage should be alot longer than the reg pedi. Overall the place was clean and everyone was nice and the nail tech did a great paint job. Just wishing it wasnt so rushed with everything. read more

One of the best nail salon experiences I have had. It was calming relaxing and the technicians there were super helpful and sweet. Tried it once, not my favorite place. She didn't clean my nail completely before apply new manicure so I can still see the residual of previously painted color on the edge of my nails. Took a long time, approximately 50min to finish manicure, yet I can see spots, bubbles on my nails. Not recommended if you're looking for a neat salon job. Last but not least, it's pricy compare to other salons in town. FYI: Kevin, Unfortunately the location is in Ballard. Perhaps you should consider hire someone who can do a proper job to represent your business. Thanks for reaching out. read more

Nina did a fantastic job on my dip powder manicure today. They got me in for an appointment with about two hours notice and she was able to take off my dip powder and complete my manicure in an hour. The final look was really well done- she took time to make sure the polish was even and my nails were all the same shape (which is not always the case, unfortunately). I was really impressed- I will be making this my new regular nail salon! read more

Hi, walk in is welcome at our salon too, but appointment is preferred. For ombré nail it will be an hour work.

With your dip powder nails do you pour the powder in a separate container for people to dip into (and then discard) instead of having each customer dip their fingers in the same containers?

I think this is inappropriate behavior - you shouldn't turn away customers because they're trying to explain what they want. As a hair salon, you have an obligation to understand your customers' needs. The time allocated seems clearly too short and doesn't match the price. I won't be coming back and I'm leaving this negative review hoping other customers can avoid having the same experience.

This is my fifth time visit angel nails spa before I give them a review. I love this place and Tina consistently takes care very good for my pedicure and manicure. I am so lucky to choose this salon by viewing yelp. Small place but so cute and cozy. Feeling so relaxing and release my stress after long day at work. I hardly to do review for places. After came here three times with this salon, lady name Tina consistently did my dipping powder service which last 3 weeks. She is sweet and detail her service and stand out her superior customer service excellent. Price is not expensive compare what I had nails done other places. This is the best, friendliest, cleanest nail salon I have ever used! The nail salon is only one year old. I got a wonderful massage in one of their awesome, comfortable chairs while I had my pedicure. My nail technician was meticulous in her attention to detail while giving me a dipping powder manicure. Tiffany did my pedicure and it was so relaxing. I really enjoyed my time there. The salon was nice and clean, the hot stone felt really good on my feet. My job has me standing up all day so my feet are always killing me, but after going here I felt like a million bucks! I took my mom here to get her nails done. She was going out of country to Vietnam, so she wanted something that would last long. We were recommended to get the dip nails. Her nails lasted the entire month trip, just grown out. There's parking in the front, nice calm, quiet, clean friendly place. I'd recommend anyone who wants the dipping nail service, come here. I have been coming to Angel for years. When I need a mani/pedi for a vacation, wedding, or just a treat for myself, they are the first place I turn. The customer service is always amazing, they serve wine/champagne (!!), and the work lasts at least two weeks (which is great especially for vacations). I have tried other salons for a dip manicure but Angel Spa is better! The edges are smooth along the cuticle as it grows out. It lasts up to a month. Its $50 to remove previous and apply new dip but if I go somewhere cheaper there are flaws. I really like the peaceful environment without a TV. It doesn't stink with harsh chemicals. read more
