Terrible experience! I asked for pink French tip nails. My nail lady's name was Joanna. After multiple attempts of trying to do the French with the pink, she said she can not do French with a different color other than white?? I always see people with different colored French! Also, she burnt me with the tool to take off gel powder and didn't even bother to apologize. Ended up just getting pink nails because i didn't want white French, they came out awful!! Nail polish all over my fingers and under my nails. And when i tipped $15 (which was way more than i wanted to give considering i couldn't even get the nails i wanted) Joanna had the nerve to ask if that's really all I'm going to give? Went here after waiting for the hands on nails the shopping center over and there was over an hour wait despite having a reservation. They welcomed us quickly (my friend had a surprise bday party that I was keeping her out of the house for the setup so we couldn't run too late). They were extremely friendly and were able to accommodate two pedicures and manicures. The pedicures were amazing for $45 they used hot stones for 2 minutes (wish it was more) and would give 4.5 stars for that. My friend got a regular manicure and loved it. My biggest pet peeve is they use the same files on all people that looked old and worn. I'll bring my own set next time. I got a gel manicure which came out well (only on 1 day so no idea how it'll last, but she left a lil nail dust on before applying polish so I'm sure it'll lift fast). They still use the UV lights and the boxes are so dirty on the outside it kind of grossed me out. I will only do a pedicure here and bring my own nail set. Lovely people that work hard, are extremely friendly, and welcoming. Thank you! They lost stars for the dirty files and dirty ugh light boxes... they also were a little too hot for my liking. I had a really good experience here. I needed an acrylic fill in and a design for baby boy's birth. Judy did a wonderful job, pink & white acrylic. I'd definitely go back (this was my first time here). She pairs great attention to detail and really did a nice job. read more

I ended up here by accident. My sister was supposed to meet me at the nail salon a shopping center over but went in this one and was too embarrassed to walk out so I went there instead. What a mistake. I got a gel manicure and the woman stood over me while I picked a color. She didn't ask what shape I wanted and instead of keeping the shape I already had she started filing them square - not the biggest deal and at least I was paying attention and stopped her. No one seemed happy to have our business even though the place was nearly empty. The real issue though is the quality. The edges near my cuticles are uneven and a week after it being done every single nail is lifting. The polish itself isn't even either. Some areas are see through and some are really thick. She rushed through it and wasn't paying enough attention to what she was doing. read more

This salon is a thief, they charged my daughter extra without telling her before doing her nails. This place is so dirty, the first time my daughter there to get her nails done, she got fungus on her nails, like what I said they're dirty. I will never recommend this salon to anybody. They a thieves and filthy. The board of health should come and check this place because this is not place is a health hazard. I wished my daughter didn't come back to this place. I hate writing reviews like this but this was probably the worst manicure acrylic set I've never gotten. I have cuts all over my cuticles. And it didn't even come out well either. I guess I'm lucky I didn't get an infection but I did tell her she was hurting me. I won't be returning :/ read more

I've been to this place a few times, Lilly the manager/owner is on top of it and can multi task like crazy. Went in this time and unfortunately had to wait like 15-20 min for a regular manicure.. I even took my own nail polish off. Not the best experience this time but could have been worse. They are quick, do there jobs right, and have you in and out. This salon is the worst! I went here for a mani/pedi around 2:30 in the afternoon and by the time I woke up the next morning three out of the five fingers on both of my hands were missing paint. I did not do anything strenuous with my hands and I only washed them once, so it makes absolutely no sense. They weren't chipped either. The paint just flaked off. I had them use Essie nail polish, which is supposed to be higher quality and last longer, so it has me wondering if their nail polish is knock offs??? I have gone to other nail salons and had my nails painted with Essie and it lasts about a week. I've also painted my nails at home and gotten the same results. I got my first set of gel tips here by Tricia. If you go there, ONLY ask to see Tricia. When I went for a fill in, and these are NOT cheap, the girl rushed and barely painted my entire nail. She also left bumps and cut my nails COMPLETELY crooked and at various lengths. I went back the following day but all that could be done to fix them was the polish, being that I now have to grow my nails out so that they can be even again. I didnt get gels so that you could see the tips of my thumbs above the nail. They did not charge me to fix the polish, but they were very rude and unapologetic about the situation. Like I said, make an appt with Tricia. P.S. A girl came in there asking for Tricia the 1st day I was there and they said she wouldnt be there til the following week and that she should go with someone else. The girl refused (she must have had a similiar experience) but when I went back the day after, Tricia was sitting in her regular chair, serving clients and chatting friendly. How they are still in business is beyond my comprehension. I was visiting from Arizona and decided to have a pedicure and manicure. Not the cleanest, they didn't even put a towel down on the manicure table which was dirty from the last who knows how many customers. The files, clippers etc were tossed in a white basket, non were taken from a pouch. The nail tech was less than friendly, all the employees were super fast. As in the moisturizer was applied, rubbed in and done. Massage with it? Nope. My polish is all uneven, she didn't even wipe off the bits she got on my skin while painting my toes. NEVER AGAIN. I used to visit this location quite often awhile back so I was in the area and decided that we (4 of us) would get some pampering on a Friday afternoon. The place was very quiet, only 3 people being waited on and at least 6 technicians. We were rushed and the staff was extremely unfriendly. 3 pedicures, 2 manicures and 3 waxing's and not one massage offered. Fastest pedicures we ever received. They rushed us like there was a fire drill going on. With a nail salon available in every shopping center these days, you would think they would offer better customer service? First time here and really disappointed. I always get acrylic nails with gel polish. My nails are very uneven, and look sloppy. The polish on my thumb nail has bubbles which I didn't realize till I left. Also the women didn't apply the acrylic all the way down to my skin. There is a gap between the polish and my skin and looks like they have been growing in for a week. She also filed my skin so one of my fingers is very painful. Very disappointed. read more

Went here and asked for a quick polish change. Woman was super rude and kept making comments about my nails. I have crooked hands due to arthritis and she got so mad about my hands not "cooperating" she smacked the arm rest out of the way. After finishing she then stated (with her back turned to me) "her hands go like this" (holding them out crooked). I was so upset and had unfortunately already paid and tipped. She disappeared after making these comments so I couldn't even find her to say something. I was embarrassed and upset so I ran out of there without even letting my nails dry. WAS great until I asked for a french ombre and my nails looked NOTHING like the photo of a french ombre I had to show them bc they had NO clue what I was referring to. I was also charged 20$ extra to do this french ombre for a total of $65 and my nails looked like a joke!! They even knew they looked horrendous bc they offered me a card stating I could come back and have them fixed for free. An expiration date was scribbled on the bottom illegible., I returned the next day about 24 hours later to have them fixed and was told "no one was available" first when they kept taking new people walking thru the door after me, paying customers clearly. I was than told to come back after Easter I explained that I was leaving town asked if I could come back first thing the next morning was told NO AGAIN!! I than asked for my money back minus the tip just the charge of $65 for the awful nails and joke of a french ombre and was told one ridiculous excuse after another. Another customer waiting saw the hard time they were giving me and she was turned off and walked out wishing me luck, after seeing this they than asked I come up to the desk and away from the waiting clients. She billed my debit card an additional $65 while attempting to give me a refund. I left in utter disgust for their business practices and meager attempt to fix their mistake. If they didn't know how to do a french ombre they should have just said so instead of guessing at it. The woman did every few nails TOTALLY different in technique, and it took over 2.5 hours!! I than had to call my bank and explain the dispute so Angel Tips nails can get ZERO funds from my account, after having to go to a better, quieter, more peaceful, honest nail spa in Mount Sinai paying $65 YET AGAIN but this time I was actually given a French OMBRE by someone who was not guessing what to do next. I love this place! Every nail technician is good and friendly. They always make an effort to accommodate you. The mani/pedi is $25 and worth every penny. While you are getting your nails done or they are drying you can get a 10 minute neck massage also worth the money. I recommend this place as it is clean, friendly and local! read more

This is one of the worst nail salons I have been to and that's saying something considering how many I have been to in my life. Their wait times are absurd (usually wait around 40-60 minutes each time I go). After my first bad experience there (wait time was close to an hour), I told myself I would never go back. Against my better judgement, I decided to give them another chance and tried it again. Unfortunately, the next two times were increasingly worse. They seem to have a tendency of telling you to take a seat at one of their stations as if they're going to help you shortly. Then they have you sit there by yourself in the chair for another 20-30 minutes. This last time I went, I waited longer than ever and received the worst manicure I've ever paid for. My nails must have been the first set my 'manicurist' did because a toddler could've done a better job. The manicure came with multiple bubbles/bumps in the paint and the area around my nail beds was left messy from the previous polish I had on which they did not take the time to clean even after asking them twice. Customer service-wise, these guys only seem to care for their clients who come in weekly to spend $50+. If you just want a simple/nice manicure, don't bother going to this place. read more
