I'm disgusted by how most nail salons reuse tools and don't wash their pedicure tubs but, at Medford Spa Nail they use tools straight out of a new package and use plastic covers in their pedicure tubs for each use. I got my first ever gel manicure today by Michelle and she was awesome and paid attention to every detail. Sam explained to me how to care for gel nails. He also offered me their membership card for just $2 and you can rack up points to get free treatments. This will be my go-to place from now on and I will always ask for Michelle!

The salon was able to fit us all in and was super patient with my nieces. Especially when the older one couldn't make up her mind between a pedicure and manicure. The salon and services itself were great. Nice and clean. The color selection looked solid and they several design offerings displayed. Now I have to get butterflies my next manicure. The pedicure itself, although basic and was perfect. I also got my eyebrows done and both ran me $35. Not too bad at all! I would totally visit with my sister and nieces again for both services. I got there right after opening. It's a big and open salon and it's very clean. I was taken right away. From the moment I sat in the chair I was very comfortable! I decided to treat myself to a spa pedicure instead of a regular one. After looking over their spa options, I went with a cucumber pedicure. The smell of cucumber was relaxing and fresh. The nail tech that did my pedicure was wonderful. Continued to ask if the water temperature was okay and even asked if I liked the color on my toenails after she applied it to one toe. I found the experience from a customer service perspective to be a bomb. The manager seemed harried and rushed and not respectful of my appt time. Ditto to the tech who did my pedicure who seemed pained by having to do my pedicure. I sat in the chair waiting for her to do a pedicure I had scheduled. In total, there was 30 minutes of wait time between the two appointments not because of the scheduling but the mismanagement of this salon. They are open until 7pm M-F so that works out great with my schedule, going straight there after work! Saturday and Sundays are always very busy so appointments are recommended! Lucy always does my manicures and pedicures although there were times she either wasn't there or working on someone else and I used another technician! I have never left with my nails looking anything short of perfect! I always used to get the gel manicures until one day I saw a customer getting a powder manicure. I tried the powder and I've been hooked since! I will never get any other type of manicure. Since I made the switch, my nails have become much stronger, no chipping and my nails always look like I just walked out of the salon, even 3 weeks after getting them done! The salon is very clean, everyone who works there are always so friendly and it's the most relaxing way to end my day! I have to mention the 10 or 20 minute massage they offer while your old polish, wrapped in tin foil, is ready to be taken off. A dollar for every minute so the $10 dollars I pay for the massage is so well worth it! I have taken advantage of the spa pedicures they offer in addition to the standard pedicures! There are too many to list but the milk and honey and the lavender spa pedicures are the ones I usually getl!! Pampered is pretty much what you receive, for any of their services, so treat yourself and walk out feeling absolutely fantastic!!
