I tend to donate much more these days than I thrift, but I do love popping in this shop after dropping off wardrobe pieces I'm tired of. I bring in a lot of high end stuff, but also find some high end stuff for myself! The people that work here are so sincere in wanting to help and be kind to everyone; they are truly inspirational. Just overhearing how they talk with each other and the customers impresses me as they really do get excited about their merch and who it benefits. Such a great cause! I can occasionally find the 2 things I am on the hunt for: 1) iconic Palm Springs vintage clothes and 2) designer silk tops. I recently wore a classic 1960's vintage caftan to an event that I bought here, and all the ladies were ogling it. I was proud to say "Only $7 at Angel View!" read more

Clearly these people are hiking up prices to pay the rent. Customer service absolutely sucks. These minimum wage employees acting superior to their customers. Unbelievable. Will be spreading word to snow birds to stop coming to these mold scented, trash filled stores. read more

This store was more of a mess than all the other angel views I frequent. The shoes were disorganized and thrown about on the shelves, and the place was a bit in disarray in general, and the prices seem to be a bit higher at the store as well from. read more

I saw a 91 year old woman today denied the bathroom, they made her hike 1000 yards to the gym in 119 degree heat at around 4:30PM. She didn't make it, pure cruelty! read more

Talk about discrimination! My family and I thought we would try thrift shopping today since visiting out here. We walked in and all split up since my kids and I wanted to look at clothes and husband and parents wanted to look at Knick knacks. Well an old lady was training a man and didn't realize my dad and husband were on the next aisle and told the man "you gotta watch out for "those people ", who try to steal, so just keep an eye out ". Then proceeded to walk around to look at us!!! How unprofessional and so unbelievable someone would do that. Put our baskets back and walked out! Nothing in there worth your time and definitely no customer service. Definitely give the name of this thrift store a bad reflection. read more

I came to donate a big box of random things: old snowboard bindings, kitchen ware, some clothes. It was fast and easy. The guy even offered to get it from my car which I declined. I don't like to make another person work if they don't have to. He was nice. I'll definitely come back and keep on donating to Angel View. By the way, the stars should be higher for Angel View since people are giving low ratings because they didn't try on the clothes before they bought them. They even said it was their own fault yet they give low stars, that's wrong. read more

Some employees are openly horrible and mean. They have private conversations within ear shot of customers.. and they're awful conversations.

My husband and I have donated to this Angel View location for over 10 years. NEVER AGAIN! After my husband struggled in the door with a (working) TV, he was informed by a very rude woman that they don't take TVs, he had to get it out of there, and no one was going to help him. I can live with the policy, but there was no need to be so rude about it. We will donate to another organization in the future. read more

My friends and I stopped in here to 'browse'...I ended up buying several articles. My only regret - and it is my own fault - is not trying on the clothes that I bought. I bought 3 polo shirts in my usual size. These had clearly shrunk during laundering and are too small. Oh well...gives me a good incentive to drop a few pounds :-) I also picked up a cute teal plant stand for my back yard. My friend was coveting it, but since she wasn't planning on checking luggage before she returned to Northern California, her loss was my gain since I drove to Palm Desert. read more

I have observed several times a female older cashier at this location complain, after a customer has left, about the customer. I also witnessed this same woman be extremely rude and disrespectful to a Hispanic customer. The customer accidently to her card out of the card reader too quickly, so the cashier ripped the card out of the customers hand and roughly shoved it into the machine and snapped, " Leave it alone!". read more

I shop at all the Angel Views in the desert. I particularly like coming to this location because of a few of the employees. Amy is always so friendly, upbeat and helpful. They are very lucky to have her working there. Update 2-11-18 : the prices at all of the Angel Views are getting out of control. Crazy high prices on basic stuff. I like this location mainly because Amy always makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. She really should be a manager by now. Very qualified. read more

Prices are truly abhorrent for things they think are of value. Tried to sell me a non-name brand suede jacket for $40 with stains ALL over it I was going to get out myself. Whoever prices these things sure is ballsy I'll give them that much. read more
