Unfortunately Thao has left 2Q Nails, so I won't be returning to the establishment. I am trying to find her and her husband, as they aren't at the same shop. If I could rate this place a zero, I would! Horrible service and did a horrendous job on my toes. I scheduled a regular pedicure ($35) with gel ($10). Ended up getting charged $53 and when I tried asking why they acted like they couldn't understand me because of the "language barrier". This nail spa has nice people although I went for a fill and I've never been here before and they only put a little bit of acrylic. My nails were so thin that they broke the day after and I am not rough on my nails and I've never broken a nail before and then I called because they were my birthday nails, and I was told that they would be free of charge but then they charged me $30 to fix there mistake they made. I also had air bubbles in my paint they rush by service I should not be in and out for acrylics within 20 minutes. The shaping is awful. They do not let my polish dry all the way. And when I went back to get it fixed, she made them even thinner than before and I still ended up paying and when we skipped the tip option because I had spent $200 literally two days ago and also tipped 25% she then stopped the payment process and would not give me the card back because she wanted me to tip again. Everyone is nice here, but there's a definite language barrier which makes it difficult to communicate a particular shape of nail. I wanted something pretty particular and it wasn't understood, so my nails didn't turn out as well as I'd have liked them to. Also- making an appointment doesn't really seem to matter. They take you when they can and it's never with the person I book with. I've gone here a couple of times and have decided not to go back. read more

Felt very rushed when I walked in. Had dip removed from a different salon and they had me soaking my hands in acetone for over 20 minutes. When he finally got the old dip polish off, the tech did a new dip and it started chipping within a couple hours. I trimmed the nail thinking that would help but the dip nails have started falling off within a couple days. Had them done less than a week ago and I am not rough with my nails. I just moved from out of state and will continue to search for a better salon. read more

I haven't treated myself to a pedicure in a very long time. I do maintain my feet though. I took my daughters in for their first nail salon experience and I wish we went somewhere else. They talked their language SO loud that it gave me a headache. The man who did my toes messed up my gel polish horribly and didn't want to fix it. Once he "fixed it" he put one coat on and called it a day. No cuticle fixing, hardly any scrub. Low quality salon and I won't be returning. If you want a great experience especially bringing in multiple people I would look elsewhere. read more

I've been here several times, but not sure if I will return. Service is ok. Workers are always speaking Vietnamese loudly. I feel that they're constantly talking about the customers as the workers would look up and look at whom they're talking about. I noted that the water was too hot for the pedicure and the worker huffed loudly, like it was nuisance to cool the water. I wish they used sterilized equipment. I was surprised to see some workers did not wear gloves. Just note that their prices changed again. Regular pedi is now $35 and the Deluxe is $50. Because of the poor service and increased prices, I would look elsewhere. There are many nail salons in the area. read more

Asked for gel nails for regular polish and my cuticles look like garbage. Won't be back.

I took my granddaughter in for a manicure for her 8th birthday. She wanted a rainbow. They said they couldn't do it with regular polish. I asked if she could have a different color on each nail. They agreed to that but said they would charge extra. I don't really understand why that would be extra but what can you do, disappoint the kid?‍ They gave her a pedicure but only painted her nails, no foot bath. Also did her fingernails but no filing. It was a very rushed job and not professional looking at all. I could have done just as well at home. Charged $30. Not impressed at all. read more

I havent had good luck finding a good nail place for a basic mani/pedi in TV. I heard of 2Q from a friend and decided to give them a try. I have tried to get an appt on Thur‐Sat but they are usually busy. On this holiday Mon. I was able to make an appt. The salon is on Ten Mile (walmart center) and behind the SBucks. The salon has 10 spa chairs and 8 stations for nails. Lots of staff on this day and all were kind and friendly. 2Q was so much cleaner than some of the places i have been to. I got a basic mani and pedi and polish on toes only. The specialist who took care or me was gentle and gave long arm/)leg massages. For my manicure I like a short cut which is better for cooking and she shaped them beautifully with no jagged edges and my cuticle beds look so nice. My Pedi was great i always bring my own polish (I always recommend this). I will definitely be back and recommend always plan ahead and call them ahead to make an appt. read more

One star is one to many. manicurist, Danny/Daniel??? very unqualified. My appointment as simple as can be, a manicure. I was greeted with a bowl of cold water to soak my right hand in ... but only for 11 seconds, I know sounds unreal. could it possibly get worse, YES! he said switch hands my left hand dipped in a cold water bowl for an extremely short time!!!! 11 seconds is not enough to make your cuticles soft to push back and start cutting. if you're choosing not to use warm water & let hand soak, you might try cuticle cream something to soften the cuticles so pushing them back wouldn't be so uncomfortable!!!! however, worst part of this 31 minute wanna be manicure ....I was not allowed to lay my hands down in front of him, on the counter he insisted I keep my elbow on the granite which was cold, no towel for my bony elbow with my forearm vertical and my fingers dangling in the air facing HIM. once he completed his unexperienced technique... still no lotion, no oil, not even a hand massage ... only water that my fingers were dipped in. sounds like an exaggeration ... THIS IS THE WORST manicure I've ever experienced!!!! All that for $25. Note, $25 it's acceptable!! if you are getting a true manicure. usually an hour or a little less always with cream, lotion/oil...and a hand maybe even an arm one minute per hand massage. my advice pick another nail salon read more

showed an inspo pic and as the extentions are being added the French tip was covering over half my nail , I asked nicely to get it redone so it was a thinner white like the picture , he got up set and just about filed my nail to the quick to remove , then cut them way shorter than we had descussed and they came out terrible . In my experience the shape of my nail is very bad and my friend was cut a lot. I don't recommend doing almond because they don't get the shape right. The workers in my experience were very passive aggressive towards me and my friends. read more

so my girlfriend went in today and the guy was very rude and it made her feel really uncomfortable and it was really rough with her. She told him that he was hurting her and he didn't seem to care. This salon came recommended by a friend who goes there for pedicures. Making an appointment was easy enough and the experience itself was fine, but poor nail prep & low quality products have resulted in me losing 3 nails in 10 days. The first nail was lost 3 days post mani, the entire nail just popped off. After that repair, it was losing a nail every two days. Not worth my time to go back for a shoddy fix. The repair job on the first nail is uneven and bubbled. Maybe they're decent at pedicures but I won't be trying them again. Waste of $60 and an even bigger waste of my time. This used to be Coco Nail Spa, but it has new owners and a new name! I have been here several times since the new owner took over and I am definitely impressed with them. They made some necessary changes and they have kept some of the things that I liked. The manicure and pedicure menu has not changed. They still offer the same services. They even still have the rewards card where you get $15 off after you pay for 10 visits with cash. It's awesome that a business is willing to pass along savings to the customer when they aren't having to pay credit card processing fees! The shop is very clean and smells wonderful!! There is no "nail shop" smell here. It has a couple of Scentsy burners going, so it's very nice. The employees are all very nice and do a great job. I suggest calling ahead and making an appointment because they get pretty busy. This shop remains my #1 pick for a pedicure. read more

This place is awesome. The pedicure chairs are beautiful and luxurious. The spa itself is large and has an open feel. It is clean and doesn't have that generic nail salon smell (you know acetone). Warning! I was unlucky enough to have an appointment with Lin. She was so rude to me I will never go back to this salon. She insulted me the entire time because my nails are short and that is how I like them. She filed them on the corners so hard they hurt today beside the fact they look horrible. There was another customer seated next to me and heard the whole thing. Lin is a nasty, unhappy person and she should be fired! read more

I really appreciate the nail techs at this salon, I've seen three of them and they are all perfectionist with nails. I had my original set done at a salon in Eagle and they were horrible, so I decided to try 2Q for a fill and repair of my ugly nails. They looked fabulous afterwards! All 3 techs that I have used listen to my concerns and address them appropriately. I have 'problem' cuticles and they are best taken care of before the fill. I have a hard time with this request at prior shops over the years, but these guys at Q2 did exactly what I asked and my nails look amazing! Their prices are fair and not overpriced, the techs are kind and talk to you, & I have always been able to get in without an appointment although they highly recommended that you make one. this was my second time back, and during this visit I had a pedicure in cold water, not even warm. They said all the stations were like that but another worker had told her client she will get her a chair with hot water. Only certain chairs had cold... they did not wait for my toes to dry which caused my toe nail polish to scrape off when he put my sandals on and did not fix. I was a walkin, no appt. they sat me at the first station on the left. The guy that did my gel mani was a little rough on my nails when removing the old gel and shaping the nails with a file. He did not place a towel under my hands to catch the gel debris as he filed the old polish off. He also did not offer the arm cushion for my forearms. I finally spoke up and asked for one as my arms were hurting from leaning on the hard edge of the table. He got polish on my fingers around the nail. He then tried to use an emery board to remove the polish. No! I would not go again and I would not suggest anyone else go there either. read more

I love this place! The people that run this store are awesome! Friendly, and kind and very hard workers. The store is clean and presentable. I got there a few minutes before my nail tech did, and didn't have to wait to have polish removed. Another employee took the time to remove the polish, and then my nail tech arrived and all was good, so they work together to make the customer happy. Who could ask for more!
