I recently visited Angeli's Pizzeria and Bar in Federal Hill and had such a welcoming, fun experience. We started with an espresso martini (highly recommend), then ordered the Stolen Meatballs and Garlic Cheese Bread -- both flavorful and made from scratch. The Angeli's Pick pizza was a standout with house-made tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, and perfectly cooked veggies. You can really taste the difference in the dough and sauce. The oven-baked wings with BBQ and fresh garlic were a hit, and the Meatball Pasta is a must if you're craving something hearty. For dessert, the tiramisu or banana pudding are both great choices. Everything is homemade, and the produce is sourced fresh daily. If you're in Federal Hill and looking for a solid date night or casual dinner spot, this one's worth checking out. Came to get the lunch special pizza and wings. Angelo's is located in Federal Hill. I was able to get metered parking in front of the store. It was early lunch time so that could be the reason as parking spaces in the area are notoriously hard to find. There is a parking garage nearby. I called my order in a large, one-topping pepperoni pizza ($16.99) and an order of buffalo wings ($11.50). When I arrived I was greeted by a pleasant young lady, gave her my name and she went to retrieve my order. The ambiance felt homey, like your neighborhood pizza spot that families come to on the regular. There was a bar that ran the length of the restaurant and limited tables in this small, but cozy space. I paid via tap for my order. I checked it before leaving and all was well. I could smell the yeast from the hot pizza crust and couldn't wait to grab a slice. The pizza was thin and crispy with a proper amount of pepperoni and cheese. The sauce had a nice flavor and wasn't too sweet. The wings had a nice, mild buffalo flavor and Althing cooked well, weren't as crispy as I would have liked. All in all, I would definitely visit them again for the lunch special as well as a visit for Happy Hour and to eat pizza in house. read more

My husband and I had such an amazing time here! We started with a green salad and decided to mix the lemon and balsamic vinaigrette--highly recommend doing that combo. But honestly? The garlic butter bread that came with it was ridiculous. I could have easily made a meal just out of that bread alone! The pizza; we ordered a medium Angeli's Pick, and it was more than enough food for the two of us. The toppings were perfect--pepperoni, sausage, spinach, half mushrooms (for the hubby) and those caramelized onions really made it. Our server, Liz, was wonderful. She gave us great advice on what to order and checked on us constantly. Oh, and definitely get the $5 Happy Hour Sangria, you will not be disappointed, soooo good. Play Ed a lunch order for pick-up and when I arrived I saw they had even better lunch specials on site AND Happy hour from 11a-6p. Needless to say, I sat my butt down and ordered a espresso martini lol. My carry out order was ready as I waited for my drink and they gave me utensils to enjoy my food at the bar. The small salad was more than enough food, but I also ordered a pepperoni slice. Pizza was good - pepperonis were a little crispy like I like them. The little cheese bread slice could ha e been left off. Compared to everything else, it felt like just an after thought. For family dinner, I ordered the 16" Della Carne pizza on-line for pick up. The pizza was ready when I walked in. The Della Carne had a nice amount of meat and the dough was flavorful with just the right amount of chew. The pizza was not greasy even with so much meat. This is one of the newer additions to Federal Hill that I'm actually pretty happy about. I happen to be walking home from my daily walk in the inner Arbor and came across this Jem! Single slices for 350 and 450 is something you just can't be anywhere in Federal Hill. They also have sit down eating and a pretty good happy hour from what I can see. Will definitely be stopping by again to sit down and have dinner the service was quick and fast, and I really enjoyed the whole atmosphere and Italian vibe on the inside. read more

Pizza was pretty good. I ordered a cheese slice and cheesy garlic bread. When the garlic bread came out I thought they would be more like sticks but to my surprise it was shaped like a pizza. The marinara was pretty good as a side too. The inside was small but very cozy, they did have drink options too. They had a wide selection or draft beef and some hard alcohol options too. The staff member was also really nice. There was a couple having a date in the corner so if you're looking for something really quiet and causal, this is the place to go. read more

I LOVE Angeli's the owners are always there and they are a married couple who have such a passion for pizza and all things Italian who have lived in Italy. I love this place. There are 1000 pizza spots in Fed hill. I really enjoy this spot for pizza. They are so clean and provides exceptional service. I love how the ambiance is so chill and relaxed! I HIGHLY recommend this location. They are new but the pizza is so yummy and divine room is very nice. read more

We had the pizza delivered which was estimated at an hour and came in about 1/2 hour. The pizza was good lots of pepperoni, Italian sausage and bacon. This was the 16 which feed 3-4 people easily. read more

Pretty happy with my dinner from Anjali's last night. I was looking for a good value on Uber Eats and found that they had buy one get one free pizzas. So one order allowed me to get exactly what I needed for dinner last night as well as lunch this afternoon. I'd like the use of toppings that had the cupping crispy pepperoni. The bacon was nice and crunchy and the ham tasted fresh as well. Will definitely order again next time I'm in Baltimore. read more

we held a surprise 80 birthday party here. the food, beef lasagna, garlic pizza bread, salad and drinks were delicious!! there were 22 of us! the owners had decorations, we did add a few. they help set everything up. the service was incredible! Every one was extremely happy with everything!! especially the guest of honor!! awesome place to host a party or just have a meal! the owners truly make you feel welcome and special. the food is sublime! read more

We had a wonderful birthday lunch for our 2 year old after a morning at the Maryland Science Center. It is walking distance from that location which is very convenient, but we drove due to the weather. The restaurant is warm and cozy with ample seating for our party of 10. We were greeted like family. Our table was waiting for us. We ordered right away: Cheese and pepperoni pizzas, their roasted vegetable salad and spinach salad as well as 20 wings BBQ and Old Bay. Everything was delicious and the service was fast and very attentive. We will definitely come again. read more

We ordered from Angeli's online and picked up. Ordering online was easy and our order was ready on time without any issues. We ordered 2 large pizzas and an order of wings for 3 people. We did have some leftovers. The pizzas were good. I would have preferred more flavor on them; it seemed like there wasn't enough sauce. Also we got one of the "premade" combinations, pesto chicken I think. The chicken was dry and didn't seem seasoned at all even though it said seasoned chicken. However we got a simple pepperoni and mushroom that we liked. The wings were also okay; seemed dry and not enough seasoning or sauce. Overall, ok place from initial experience. Maybe better to try to eat in store. Prices were ok, slightly high for my preference and how much the food filled us up. read more

Unfortunately this place did not nearly live up to the 5 star rating. There was some miscommunication when I placed the order. The food then came and the pizza for very plain in taste and heavy dough with very light sauce cheese and pepperoni. The wings were also plain in taste and did not get nearly enough blue cheese for all. Only a little less then half. Despite ordering something like wings which are messy they gave me no napkins which wasn't pleasant when I reached for some after eating the wings and there were none. Came to visit from out of town and was pleasantly surprised. The servers were very attentive and welcoming. There were lots of TVs around to watch the game but it was a quieter atmosphere. We ordered an espresso martini, a meatball sandwich and a margarita pizza. Everything was very fresh. The espresso martini was one of the best I've had. The meatball sandwich was also amazing, the bread is freshly made; my only note would be maybe there was too much cheese on the sandwich for me. The pizza was also very fresh and delicious, there was a good amount of sauce and cheese and the crust was perfect. Highly recommend this spot when craving pizza in Baltimore. read more

Charley's bar service was amazing! The pizza was amazing and the owners (at least I think it was the owners) were so sweet. They helped my wife with the scooter outside which prompted us to check the place out and it didn't disappoint. So happy we stopped here, I'll be back for sure!! Great happy prices!!! I'm not a huge fan of red sauce (the horror, I know) but the sauce was very good. The crust was great. It was crispy on the edges, but soft and fluffy on the inside. Their pizzas range from $10 - $15 depending on what you want on them and what they're offering. Overall, the pizzas were delicious. I would certainly order from them again.

My first visit I just settled on some cookies and a jalapeno cheddar bagel, since I was on my way elsewhere for dinner. But let me tell you how the chocolate chip cookie instantly became one of my favorite bakery cookies. And the bagel was decadent for my morning breakfast, covered in cheddar cheese with those crispy edges that bake at the base of the bagel. On my second visit I settled on their corn pizza since it was a different flavor combination, and it tasted like a slice of summer. Corn, basil, and ricotta, and you can't go wrong. And the staff has always been really pleasant with each visit. I'm a sucker for baked goods and a wood-fire pizza and I can say Baltoz has stolen my heart.
