This place really disappoints me. taking the first step through the door, i could already feel the unsanitary vibe. The workers here are very rude and obnoxious. I came here for a bridal party and my gay Vietnamese cousin came along for a pedicure and the workers did not realize he and i were Vietnamese. they started to talk hella crap about his sexuality with the other workers and giggling as if we did not understand. It made my friend and i both feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. As we left, we did not tip them and the workers both looked at each other making it very obvious what they were thinking. as i walked out the door i said Thank you in vietnamese. i hope they realized they lost a potential costumer. I found a better place at the next plaza called 4-ever nails. They've been around for a while now but recently was remodeled. The place is really family friendly, and most importantly they are extremely sanitary. it is very obvious because they use brand new brushes and scrubbing bars for every customer. they even let you take it home after. They also offer snacks and cold bottled waters free of change. read more

DO NOT USE ANGELIC NAILS SPA!!! I called for a appointment on a Sunday, and the owner Lilly told me to come in, so I came in and the first thing she did was criticize my nails from the start, she told me what ever Salon did my nails, they did a terrible job. Well I did not appreciate that, I just wanted to get my nails done! Lilly then had her employee Holly take care of me. As soon as I sat down the staff began to speak Vietnamese rudely, well little do they know that I understand a little Vietnamese...... so I confronted them and told them that what they where saying was not very nice, and they were SHOCKED!!! and became quiet. Not good!! I stayed to have Holly finish my nails, Holly kept receiving personal calls on her cell phone, I also thought that was very rude! All of a sudden two Vietnamese women walk in the Salon and sit right next to me and the Gals start talking to Holly in there language, So Holly calls another gal to finish me up because she is going to give these two Vietnamese Women pedicures...I WAS FLOORED!!!! I told Holly, how are you going to start with them when you have not finished with me, and I had a appointment?? She replied, I'm sorry they come from San Jose and they are my friends, and the lady here will take good care of you.... Well I was not very happy! I told her this is not a good way to do business!!! I DON'T CARE!!!! So anyway, the other gal finished me up, and before I left she asked me to call the Salon for a appointment. I told her it would not make a difference, I did call today, and Holly RUDELY ended up helping two other women because there here friends!!! BAD BUSINESS!!!! I told her I was not happy with the way my nails looked due to some looked more narrow and some looked more thick, she told me she did not see that. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! GUESS WHAT??!!! Two days later my two of my nails lifted, so I went in and had them take a look and ask them what happened?? they said because I have DRY SKIN!! WHAT??!! I just had a 2nd basic pedicure here on Father's Day and although it was painful at times I didn't realize just how bad. The gal used that tool to clean and dig into the sides of my toes especially my big toes and pulled skin back. When I got home I was in pain and by that evening both of my toes were badly infected on the sides. It's now been five days and still on antibiotics and pain medication I'm shocked how bad it is. This review is only for the waxing services, I've never had anything else done here. I started going to this place when I lived in Morgan Hill and still go there even though I live in San Jose now. The girl that does the waxing is awesome, I always get my eyebrows done there and she makes them flawless. Everytime I get them done I get like four compliments the next day. The only downside is that just one girl in the salon does the waxing so sometimes it's hard to get in right away but if you have a few minutes I say wait, she's super fast. read more

The rock massage hurt when the lady kept going over my ankle bones, despite my yelps of pain. The pedicure was expensive and they rush me through. The management is awesome! Lily is the store manager and is very friendly, but her employees lack the respect and value for each customer. The design of my nails were done by Amy and they came out okay. She messed up multiple times but the outcome was still okay to pay for. The not so perfect part is the customer service. They made me wait 20 minutes before coming to help me with my shellac mani, I originally had Holly, but she disappeared for 20 minutes leaving me with my fingers soaking in cold... Yes cold water. Finally, Amy came by to help me out and I tried to make conversation with her but she lacked the interest to keep it going. They had no interest in providing me with full service until my mom had arrived. Usually we try places out together since we've been in the nail game for two years and have not found the right place. Sadly, they didn't give me any massage in the end and charged me 42? For basic shellac. I wouldn't recommend to anyone else trying to go thru a speedy process getting their nails done and looking for excellent customer service. read more

Although the nail and pedicure services are fine, staff spoke only to each other and in Vietnamese. This is rude to customers, in my opinion. If staff wishes to converse with each other, fine but during breaks. Talk to the customers! English and a conversation while having services done would improve the rating. This is a mixed-bag place. When I started going there about 2 years ago everything was clean, the chairs wonderful. Now it is dusty, all chairs are broken and I'm not sure about the level of sanitation. From what I have seen, the equipment is only rinsed under the faucet before being used on the next client. Also, when they are busy, they work on more than one client at a time, which means you sometimes just sit for 20 minutes or more. That being said, their level of expertise is excellent, they are very thorough. They take care of my ingrown nails like nobody else, usually they are just ignored. Lily is great and is always looking for ways to make her customers happy, whether they're regulars or not. Holly is also amazing. I am fuming. My nail polish is streaked and has been since I got it done. My nails need filing on the sides. I was charged $10 more than Forever Nails down the street and they do a beautiful job. No one would talk to me. They did talk to each other in their language. When they ask how are you they don't mean it. The polish I got was Shellac so that it would last longer. Now I need to go have it redone. This should last 3 weeks. I don't want to go back to them because they do such a bad job so I have to pay more at another shop. The only reason I went a second time is because a lady named Amy was there originally and she did a beautiful job. She wasn't there anymore. This shop is under new ownership and is sinking quickly. The owner does not have a mind of her own and doesn't know what she is doing. She handed me a card with get ten services and then one free. Free for what ? For me to go have it redone. This girl was very inexperienced who did my nails so another one came over and talked in their language to help her. So , it cost more and took twice as long. I really am uncomfortable when they are speaking their language.It is so rude as we don't know what they are saying. read more

I had a pink & white fill on my nails done here, and they did a very nice job. Very gentle, and did not cause me pain. Very limited English spoken here, so don't count on any chit-chat with your manicurist (something I had enjoyed previously at American salons.) The decor of the pedicure area was outstanding and very attractive. However, the decor of the nails area was reminiscent of being in a prison with grey walls and cement floor. The cement floor is painted, but is badly chipped and ruins any atmosphere here. The floor was a real turnoff to me, and I almost left because of it. However, the nail stations were very clean. The soaking bowl for my manicure did not have jasmine flowers (as one other reviewer reported). One very nice service here is for $5 extra, they will clip all the little hangnails and clean up your cuticles very nicely. This is a tedious job to do oneself, but they are trained to do it efficiently. None of the other salons I have tried offer this service, which is definitely worth it, as your fingers and nails look meticulous afterwards.
