Second time I've gone here for breakfast, both have been really good! There is a small Gluten Free menu included as a separate page in the regular menu, and while the options are few they all sound great and they're really good about offering you actual decent GF substitutions on sides. First time we went I got the Mediterranean Omelet which was HUGE. Generous portion and plenty of the fillings, I was full for a few hours after this meal - which came with GF toast and a fruit cup! The portions on the regular (non-GF) breakfasts are really generous too. Most recently I got the GF French Toast, which was covered in cinnamon and powdered sugar goodness. It was actually really close to what I remember "normal" French toast being - which is definitely an accomplishment when you can't have gluten! The portion wasn't as big as the omelet so I got a side of bacon with it since it doesn't come with anything. Ticket times were terrible - 31 minutes for breakfast. Food was not good. Servers were doing their best in a bad situation but management never came out to support them. I feel badly for the servers but we won't be coming back. read more

I ordered a grinder. Ham, turkey and cheese, L&T, seasoned olive oil. I had to pay an upcharge. Two doors down at the pizza shop, no upcharge for the same grinder. I got home. No seasoned olive oil, brown tomato, funny aftertaste on the ham. Grinder roll fell apart. NO one is quality checking. The angry guy with the long hair should learn wear a hairnet. I used to come weekly for breakfast. No one can screw up breakfast. Don't come for lunch or grinders. $4 for turkey when $1.50 for adding bacon. If you a woman, prepare to be overcharged. read more

So after my great breakfast experience a few weeks ago, I decided to try lunch and again this place hit it out of the park. Got a cup of cream of broccoli soup and the BBQ chicken sandwich with bacon and grilled onion that comes with fries and a semi sour dill. The soup was very good and the sandwich was delish. Their menu is extensive as classic diner menus usually are so I'm sure there will be a few misses down the road but as of now this place is two for two. Next step is dinner. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's not a diner but more of a restaurant so it lacks the classic diner feel but the food so far is 5 stars as diner food goes. read more

I've been touring all the local breakfast joints around Enfield and I stumbled upon this place. It was decent! I had the Ranchero Burrito with added pepper jack cheese. It was not a typical breakfast burrito filled with scrambled eggs. Instead, this had a flat layer of egg inside the tortilla and a ton of filling inside of that. It was delicious. PLUS, it was flat top grilled on the outside of the tortilla to make it a little crispy. Yummy. read more

We found Angelina's on our way to Costco. The atmosphere, service, and seating was ok. There was also no wait. However, the food was not good. In my western omlet, the eggs were rubbery and the ham/peppers/etc seemed to be added after the egg was cooked then folded over itself (not integrated). The thick cut bacon was hit/miss - mine was soft, my wife's was crispy, my daughter's was in the middle. My wife's waffle seemed so so. For the money spent, there is better value at McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts. read more

It took a while to get our drinks. The thing that was funny about that is that we both ordered water. The place seemed understaffed for a Friday evening...just two very young servers covering the entire dining room. My daughter's meal was fine and was served in the cutest food box ever!! I had a BLT that was good, not great but served exactly the way I ordered it. I don't think I'd be inclined to visit here on a date night but it was a great choice in between activities with my daughter. The food was mediocre and the service was horrible. We easily waited 30 minutes for our food - there were only three tables in the entire restaurant and two out of the four of us only ordered cold sandwiches!! It was obvious that my French toast sat under the warmer while the rest was prepared as the small container of butter on my plate was liquified. Disappointing! read more

ONE OF THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACES IN ENFIELD/SOMERS AREA I love taking the family out for breakfast on Sunday mornings and have been just about everywhere within a 15 mile radius of Angelina's. It's been a pleasure to watch it grow over the last year or two as word spreads about their food's quality and value for the buck. It is owned by an adorable, hard-working family that clearly instill the value of hard work in their children. Here is Rocky's SAFE review: SERVICE Sundays can be pretty busy, so there can be a bit of delay with food coming out of the kitchen if you hit the post-Church crowd. But, it have never taken more than 15 minutes, and in the meantime the servers are always prompt with drink refills and getting your order into the kitchen. There are two dichotomies of staff going on here. You have your seasoned veterans that have been in the business for a while, then your local high school kids who probably count this as their first job and are learning. Nonetheless, this is a family owned place and the veterans do look after the peeps. I had problems with one staff member when the first opened, and thankfully she is no longer there. Everyone has been great. ATMOSPHERE It is a casual, family dining environment. The place was also a restaurant before these owners bought it, and was kind of run down. On one side, they operated a restaurant...on the other, it was a dive bar full of drunks and the like. These owners have cleaned it up immensely, and the décor reminds me of eating at some quaint farmhouse B&B in rural Vermont. FOOD I have never had a bad meal. I am picky, so there are times when I ask for my veggies (in an omelet) to be grilled a little longer, or the bacon extra crisp; but, that is just my preference. Like I said earlier, I have only been here for breakfasts. They have recently expanded their dinner menu for weekends and I am looking forward to trying that soon. Once I do, I will post an update for my fellow Yelpers! ENCOUNTER This past Sunday, I had a simple New England breakfast of scrambled eggs, home fries, bacon, and toast! I enjoyed one of the veteran servers and it was great. I beat the church crowd, which means I got my meal in under ten minutes. I never had less than half a cup of coffee or water, and left the place full! All this for $9! When I think about my daily commute and spending $7 a day McD's next door, it makes me wish there were more hours in the day! So Yelpers, if you're from the area and looking for a weekend breakfast spot, this is the place. If you're like me and enjoy driving a bit and trying new places, this is for you, too! Went there for the first time for dinner tonight, and had the Monte Christo. The service was spot on - I had the daughter of the owners - and the food was great. I can't wait to go back for breakfast. May just do that this weekend. read more

Won't be back. Sometimes, it's a good thing to have a clear cut answer. My family and I live right around the corner from Angelina's and we enjoy a good family Sunday brunch. We've always waffled about this place. The chef/owner doesn't always do the cooking and so the food you get is uneven in its quality. The food, even when it is good, doesn't make up for the fact that it takes so long for it to come to you. The wait staff is always disorganized and harried. Today, however, all of that waffling problem has been solved. I ordered a burger. When it arrived, it tasted very bad. A quick inspection of bun showed quite a bit of mold. I pointed it out to the waiter, and he took it away, but shouldn't there have been some basic apology? I know mistakes happen, but to be so cavalier about this means that they've lost my business. read more

Went here for breakfast today. It was a busy Sunday as normal but not full. We were seated reasonably quickly. They took our drink order and messed it up. They finally got the drinks right. Then we ordered our breakfast which was not at all complicated. We waited over an hour for our food and when it came it was all wrong and cold. My wife's meal was wrong 3 different times. We finally got all of her food and it was still wrong. We decided not to try to fix it since all other attempts only seemed to cause more issues. Our server had been absent since taking our order and the person who brought us our food said that they didn't know how to read to order. Whatever that means. When he dropped off the food we asked to see the manager. About 10 minutes later our server came over and asked if a manager came over. We said no and he said he would get him. About 5 minutes after that the person who brought us our food came by and said he was the manager. We again explained the issues and to be fair he did discount the bill for us. My boyfriend and I decided we would take the time for a real breakfast and had heard from friends that this place was pretty good. When we walked in the side door, a waiter told us to sit anywhere. We sat down in an open booth, then noticed everyone coming in the front door were being seated, given menus and coffee, while we waited to be noticed. Finally another waiter came and asked if we had been helped. We were given menus and coffee. Some time later he returned to take our order and refill coffee cups. In the next 49 minutes we were offered refills eight times while we waited for our simple eggs with ham and toast. Completely disappointed in the cold over-cooked eggs, canned ham (Spam?) and cold toast with barely a smidgen of margarine that didn't even melt. Also, every TV had some animal hospital program showing sick and injured pets being treated -- NOT appetizing! Next time, we'll just go through the DD drive thru. Wonderful restaurant . I come all the time and the food is always great . I've never had an issue with anything here , the service is fast and friendly . Everything they make is delicious and fresh. I recommend to everyone to come and eat here if you haven't yet . They do tend to get busy but the service is still very good. read more
