Not bad local diner, little pricy Came here because it's one of the few breakfast spots I've yet to try. Made the trek and found a small diner at the end of a strip. It's a homey spot, lots of seating and the staff was very friendly. I opted for the Irish Benedict, so I can try their hash and their eggs. Food came quickly, I took my pics then took my bites. The eggs were poached well, hollandaise is creamy and rich, English muffins toasted and buttered, and the hash was a little gummy and mushy. Whatever they mixed with it made the texture not so great. For 18 bucks, it was mostly executed right but stumbled on the one element that increased the price point. As an eggs Benedict, it was good but pricy for what you get. It's been over a year since my last visit, but Angelina's is still in "the rotation" for our monthly get together. "Our" consisted of four of us this time. Sophie, our waitress, greeted and seated us. BTW, the joint was jumping at 9:40. Angelina's makes their own CBH, which is always a plus. So, I opted for a CBH omelet w rye toast and home fries. Chuckles had a western omelet; Manic Mike two eggs over w ham steak, potatoes, and rye; finally, my fried Crash Test Dummy Ron had a Belgian waffle, real(!) maple syrup, blueberries, and a side of sausage links (4). Food came quickly considering the crowd. Sophie kept us over caffeinated while we waited. The interested thing about the omelets is that the cook adds CBH (or western ingredients, in Chuckles' case) to the top, in addition to the inside. My omelet was excellent. My only quibble - the toast was more like warm bread than toast. Polling the crowd produced an average of 4 stars, coincidentally my rating. I am definitely a fan. read more

Used to love the breakfasts here but after a few years things have changed. Cheaper bread (especially the rye going soft), inconsistent food prep (sometimes rubbery eggs) and fluctuating prices on final bill depending on which of the staff takes your order (we've had a few issues) so check your final tab. Went there for breakfast on Sunday. I had the blueberry pancakes and chocolate milk. Wife had the french toast and bacon and coffee. The pancakes were very thin - not thick and fluffy as I had expected. One side was cooked too much. There were way too many blueberries! I expected some blueberries but not so many that one needed a spoon. The mystery syrup was served in cups, not a bottle showing the brand. No maple flavor. The "butter" was that fluffy white stuff served in a cup - no buttery flavor. The chocolate milk tasted like they had used a dry powder not Hershey's syrup. There was ketchup on the table - a brand I never new existed. The bacon was fine - 4 full-size flat slices evenly cooked. The french toast was OK. $34 for that disappointment. I'm going to IHOP next time: much better and 1/2 the price. read more

Came here with some friends. It was my first time because I do not live in the state had really good mimosas. I love the mimosa menu. I appreciated how there were many different flavors and I didn't have to guess what kind of juices they had. The food was great. If you haven't been, you definitely should go. The staff was friendly and we appreciated the meal. The ambience was chill but it was also a weekend so it was super busy but we didn't mind. Little place in the middle of a semi residential area. Nice friendly staff with pretty quick service. Food is good, I enjoyed my texmex omelet. Home made salsa is really good! We have been there several times now. Mom gets a cheese omelet every time and the cheese goes from one end to the other, perfection. My sister and I usually get lunch. The portions are large and made with care. The staff is very attentive. Last time, the soup was kielbasa soup; being Polish I had to try it. It was a 10/10, very flavorful with diced carrots, celery and onion, no potatoes as I see in most recipes, and small pieces of cooked kielbasa. I would beg for the recipe if they would give it out! Overall the worst breakfast I have ever had. Service was poor and the food was worse. I had the country fried steak, it was more like breaded jerky covered in a tasteless cold gritty gravy like substance. My eggs were undercooked. How does a restaurant that serves breakfast not have or offer jelly? It took over 10 minutes to get a glass of water and had to remind our server 3 times. I have had sand covered MREs that were better. Then, to top off our poor service, we had to track our server down to get our $75 check for 3 people. If we're going out for breakfast, this is our go to place. Menu is innovative. Not just the staples, not basic that's for sure. Delicious breakfast burritos, breakfast quesadillas, home fries and French toast. My coffee is always refilled promptly. Food seems to be of higher quality than many other breakfast joints. Got toast instead of English muffin, no spinach in my omelet, no jelly for other people who had toast. Someone in our party wanted hot sauce, couldn't get it because the waitress never came back to see if everything was ok. After we ate half our food, I had to ask someone to get our waitress. When I told her about my food, her response was, " Oh, that's where the mix up was. Someone else got your meal," then she put the bill down and walked away! We had to make sure we were not charged for the muffins or the spinach as she never adjusted the bill. Had to ask twice for containers. We all agreed that the omelets were bland and the corned beef was stringy. They were generous with peppers and mushrooms. The fajitas were amazing - better than I've had at places that serve only Mexican food. My father probably set a record for fastest consumption of prime rib I've ever seen - absolutely delicious. the only negative is the booth sizes - if you have 3 or more people eating you may want to sit at one of the tables as it can get pretty crowded in the booth. read more

We went here for breakfast after reading some reviews from yelp. We ordered Angelina's Benedict's and 2 eggs with corned beef hash both were delicious. Service was okay. We were seated and given a menus right away but waited for someone to get our order. The place was not packed at all but maybe it's busy for them. I observed food sitting on the counter and waiting to be served. Not sure who was our original server but Greg step up and I observed him working hard. I think this is where the locals go. Crepes (today was tropical fruit with raspberry sauce) HOwever, this review is to warn you about the one and only lousy waitress there, among a bunch of great folks that run that place I don't understand why she's still working there. But this woman is in her own world and not really hearing what her customers say, so she brought pancakes with only one butter but two sausage patties. When John reminded her he needed the extra butter she brought one more butter and then as she was leaving said "you're welcome". Oh you poor waitress! When she came back John said " I don't think you need to be thanked for doing something you forgot to do before and I don't appreciate you saying you're welcome" and she said "you're rude. You've been rude to me for years and if you have a problem you can tell Them" (you know, the all-knowing Them). She hasn't even been working there for years! And with any luck she won't be working there much longer. We've been regulars at this little neighborhood place since it first opened, but this lady will make me think twice about going there. Let me be clear - the rest of the staff there is beyond wonderful so I guess they pick up her slack. Just avoid her if you go. Her name might be Jill not sure, but she is the oldest waitress there and the only one wearing glasses. Ruined my Fourth of July!! Not very welcoming. Extremely rude staff, with no regard for human life. My date and I we're segregated to a separate section of the restaurant for lunch. All sections of the restaurant we're open and available for seating. It was very hard to enjoy my meal with the view of the kitchen staff cleaning and prepping. All while keeping a very watchful eye on us. While waiting for our meal, 3 families walked in minutes apart.. they were immediately greeted and escorted to another eating area. It was my first time at this resto and it was unbelievably busy around noontime this past Sunday. There are 6 to 7 waiters and or waitresses which gives you an idea of the number of tables and occupancy. Service was excellent, there must have been 25 to 30 orders in front of mine but I received my TBLT(toasted, bacon, lettuce and tomato) with crispy fries in 15 minutes, I timed it. I was mesmerized by the efficiency of the kitchen as I watched the orders hit the pick up area, truly the production from the kitchen staff was unbelievable, these folks are "pros". The restaurant is owned by a Mexican family from Oaxaca, the menu is pretty much standard American breakfast, lunch and dinner items with a smattering of Mexican dishes throughout. The quality, efficiency and price point is excellent and I can not wait to return and give a few of those Mexican dishes a tumble. So we've been eating here for breakfast since they opened, but then one day someone said they had fantastic hamburgers...so we went for dinner and ordered burgers and a cup of chili...long story short...the ABSOLUTE BEST burger I have ever had on the East Coast! It reminded me of the many fantastic burgers I've had on the West Coast over the years. I've been to the top notch burger places and Shake Shack and Five Guys...and Max Burger...all of them, but none had the taste of a nicely seasoned burger the way it's done at my favorite burger places in California. So try the burger and you'll agree I'm sure. Now the Chili....it had a Chili cook off quality to it that was very tasty and as far from the typical stuff you get at most restaurants. We came here at 1:20PM on a Sunday and it was still poppin' even if they closed at 2PM! Our waiters name was Greg and he was super easy going and friendly! He really made our experience enjoyable and brought such a life to the room! The food came out so quickly too! We were done eating and driving away by 2:10! It was only a 40 minute meal & the food was at our table in 10-13 minutes after we ordered! I ordered a grilled honey mustard chicken sandwich with fries! The reason why this is four stars and not five is because he found his meal was average to sub-par! I was so disappointed, because I really wanted to like it here. It came recommended to me, and as someone who is always looking for new and delicious breakfast places I couldn't wait to check it out. First, our waitress was miserable. She didn't smile once, we could hardly hear her over the crowd, and she seemed as though it was the last place she wanted to be. Unfortunately, it seemed to be a trend at Angelina's. None of the waitstaff looked happy to be there. The food was almost as unpleasant as the service. My hash was mushy and flavorless, and my friends didn't enjoy their meals either. Thankfully, the home fries were good so I didn't leave on a completely empty stomach.
