Do yourself a favor: If you order a door from Lowe's or Home Depot, just pay their crews to install it. At least then you'll have some recourse or somebody at corporate to talk to if things don't go as planned. We ordered a door through Lowe's to replace the one between our house and garage. We chose to hire Angelo & Sons to install it instead of having Lowe's because it was slightly less expensive, and they got pretty good reviews. Well, now we're paying for it - twice. We picked up the door ourselves, and Angelo's installer came out and installed it. Well, the door was totally defective - it wouldn't even shut. The installer did his best to make it work, trying various things with the hinges and strike plate to get it to close flush. No dice. So, now we have to get a replacement from Lowe's. I called Angelo's to see if they could work with us or give us some kind of credit to install the replacement door when we get it. They couldn't care less. In fact, the woman I spoke with (Angela?) hung up on me after telling me they were going to run my card, which I had given them for the deposit, and send me the receipt. I realize the defective door wasn't their fault, but it also wasn't our fault. So now we're completely out the $585 Angelo's charges for a door install and will have to pay someone to install it again when we get the replacement. If we had used Lowe's installers to begin with, they would have had to come back to reinstall the replacement door. Guess this is what you get for supporting a small business. I had a six-panel entry door and a storm door installed by this company for a total cost of $3486.16. Everything was great! The cost included a 1-year warranty, or so I thought. The storm door closer began lifting the side jamb, it initially started with a tiny crack left on the side jamb during the installation. When I noticed the crack was beginning to grow and the jamb was lifting, we screwed the jamb down hoping this would keep from further lifting and it did but instead the closer completely ripped out. I reached out to them thinking it would be a simple side jamb replacement and since it was caused by the storm door closer it would be covered under the warranty. I spoke to Angela, who was rude and refused to help. She claimed she was one of the installers and that the damage was caused by us screwing the jamb down and/or the wind... Extremely disappointed, I paid close to $3500.00, the initial crack where the storm door closer was placed is what caused the damage. As you can see in the picture. I read the other review and did a double take because my experience with Angelo and Sons was great. First of all, I work in real estate and need things from time to time and Angelo and Sons is one of the few companies that actually repairs window frames and hardware rather than just broken glass I found out. I had a closing that wasn't going to happen unless a window got fixed (picky buyers). Not only did Angelo come out that day to give me an estimate, they came the next day and did the work. All is great right? NO!! The buyer's didn't like how the window was hung?? (VERY PICKY BUYERS) Not only did Angelo and Sons print me a letter saying that this was their responsibility and they would take care of it, they actually made it out that day, rehung the window the same way it was before and all of this was done with super polite service techs and the ladies in the office were also very super nice!!! I had a triple pane sliding glass patio door that was almost impossible to open. After a number of non-responses from various vendors, I felt less than confident of getting ahold of anyone that could help me out a week before Thanksgiving, especially with a sudden temperature drop. However, after leaving a message for Angelo and Sons, I was surprised to receive a return call within an hour and was able to schedule a visit only two days out. They made it clear that they could not guarantee having parts for my manufacture discontinued door. The amazing husband and wife team and a young apprentice showed up with a variety of parts and found one that they were able to make work. They spent quite some time making the necessary adjustments until the door was sliding smoother than it ever had. They were a little more expensive than I was expecting but money well spent. I needed the frame on my entry door repaired and also wanted a new storm/security door installed. They sent someone out for a free estimate and responded back very quickly with a reasonable quote. Horrible service !! Made the huge mistake of hiring this company to replace some windows for me not only did it take almost a month but after they charged me over $400 for 1 window I noticed after the "installation" that the window they "replaced" was the same old window that I had!! I was outraged I called and requested to speak to the owner. Angelo was completely unfased but this and told me I was a liar and that the invoices from the install were correct. He also mentioned that he wouldn't be returning any of my money and that I could take him to court and prove it!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM RIP OFF! I did retain a attorney! read more

I am disappointed in the customer service. I was never contacted to confirm that the work order went out to have my garage door spring replaced. I called and was given some story about the estimator being on jury duty and they were waiting to see about how he would be away from the job. I pleaded with the rep. that I needed it fixed a.s.a.p. She put me on hold and then returned 10 minutes later and promised that someone would be here within the hour. I waited over an hour and a half and still no call, or repair. Then I called to see what was going on again, only to find that they were now closed for the day. Horrible company. BEWARE! read more

Window buyer beware! So disappointed in Angelo and Sons! 2011 we replaced a window in our house and in December of 2016 we noticed lines in between the panes. I located my receipt and was happy to see there was a 10 year manufacturer warranty. I emailed Angelo and Sons and they came out to look at the damaged window. We were told they would track down the manufacturer but it may be take time. In Jan 2017 they called and stated the window manufacturer was bought out and our warranty does not exist. Even though Angelo and Sons represented the manufacturer they are not responsible because they offer a 1 year warranty on installation. Needless to say I believe if Angelo and Son's is installing a manufacturers window, they should honor the warranty after all they were representing and selling their product.
