It was a Friday around 5 pm. There was a loooong line. I walked in and ordered after waiting for approximately 5-6 minutes. I ordered a large plain cheese pizza for my two sons, my wife doesn't eat pizza, she might eat the crust once and a while. Well so this where the fun begins.... I waited close to 25-to a half-hour for the pizza to be prepared and ready. Not good turn around time. Do better. Get more people to make pizza, fer christsakes! Do something better. Secondly the pizza was 25$ that's steep. And way too expensive. The pizza tasted good. But again, I wouldn't be quick to order from them again. Plenty of other pizzerias in the area with better customer service and better tasting pizza. Ambiance is nothing to write home about, it's clean, and your avg pizza Parlor looking place.

Gone are the pizza only pizza places, set me back to twenty years past, to think and speculate about wings on a pizza parlor menu/board - I'd think you mad, off your tea. And my buddy wanted them, said they were good, I cut him off mid platitude. "I can't convince of this", I've heard of it - but never plucked up the desire to do it, so, I paced his place like Capt Ahab stumping around the quarterdeck of the Pequod. Parking was about as pleasant as kissing a slimy eel, as the blue and whites marched in little concentric circles, eyes upon me. I know the pattern all too well and signalled into the large glass window with fingers and flashing hands, wrist and arm lifts like semaphores. Tipping extra for the interpretation, I sped on off with the sweet buffalo smell permeating from within. Full of flesh, not overly boney - I think I tasted some underlying paprika, a richness under the spiciness - and my deep inhales had my sinuses quickly cleared, eyes slightly teared and my hunger fast awakening. Napkins are a must as all the non dry rub sauces are messy. I like over sauced wings, laying in a pool, thoroughly covered - let them lay and bask in the sauce, a nice Buffalo flavor, spice manageable and noticable and a hint of tangyness. Chicken can be chicken but you want it moist but not wet, it's my opinion the sauce is what matters - and I appreciate the extra sauce so I can roll and twirl the drumsticks then double dip into the blue cheese. Prices were fair, not overpriced - of course there's always room to improve but a good value none the less.

4 stars for the food and selections. It would be less based off the service. Naturally during pandemic times, things are going to be different. Like most other places, they have a "no mask no entry" sign in the front. Everyone behind the counter and the "regulars" inside had no masks, so I was the only one with one. I don't see the point in having the sign in that case. But I digress... The selection was pretty good. The garlic knots were tasty and the pepperoni twists were good. The slice was generally good. Yes, not all pizza tastes the same and everyone's preferences are different - but this is a good slice. A good selection behind the glass that didn't look like it was sitting there for days. There was a good beverage selection as well. There are a few tables to eat from and on a nice day during the pandemic, some tables outside. I can't say it felt welcoming in there as the staff behind the counter wasn't the best. Not overly rude, but not the friendliest either - only with their buddies/regulars inside. Maybe it was the time, but it's also no excuse as it's a business in general. I won't hold it against them as I do plan to try this place again and we'll see it if was just the one time. Only street parking is available - main street is metered and side streets are not. Again, the menu and food are good and worth it alone. With too many pizzerias making poor slices, it's a nice change to get a good one.

Well my husband is from CT and he wanted to give it a try six years later (again). Reluctantly I agreed after looking through reviews. I have to say. We did half plain half and pepp. I wasn't a fan of the way their pepp came out but the plain was delicious and I would certainly order it again. For some reasons the pizza was cut into kiddie slices which I don't understand. It may have tricked my brain bc i felt hungry after. The pizza was thin, crispy, and flavorful. A power combo. Only downside was very burnt crust ends which I couldn't eat bc they were so burnt even though I was still hungry. Would def try again and sooner!

I really wanted to give Frank Pepe's another chance, especially considering its reputation…read more The last time we ordered from here, we had a horrible experience. To be completely fair, management did make an effort to make things right. We were given a refund as well as a $20 coupon to come back and try them again, which we appreciated. So, we decided to do exactly that. This time, instead of having our pizza delivered, we went directly to the restaurant. We ordered at the cash register, waited for the pies, picked them up ourselves, and brought them home. The photos attached are the pizzas we received. At this point, I really don't think I need to say much more. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Take a look at the pies and decide for yourself what you think. I'll refrain from picking the pizzas apart ingredient by ingredient because the pictures show exactly what came out of the boxes. After a disappointing first experience, followed by a refund and an invitation to give them another opportunity, we genuinely hoped the second visit would change our opinion. Unfortunately, this was our second chance experience. At least the crust was tasty.
