The worst. Don't waste your money. We used to love this place but I understand they changed owners and it's awful. We ordered clams oreganata and monte mare. The clams were dry, all dry breadcrumbs, way over cooked, reheated and inedible. The monte mare had the tiniest pieces of shrimp I ever saw. The sauce had no rich, creamy texture or wonderful taste. It tasted like they threw some bottled sauce over some rigatoni. The rigatoni wasn't even coated with sauce, just some of them. Never going back and you shouldn't either. read more

The service was very friendly. We walked in and were greeted so kindly. I came with my children and grandparents for Father's Day. We were accommodated very well with high chairs for the kiddos. I ordered the special, monkfish and it was cooked beautifully! My girlfriend had shrimp and spinach in a light cream sauce. Light being the optimal work. She asked that it be lightly salted and it too was just right. Pasta al dente. Shrimp cooked perfectly. Surprisingly good food. Probably the best restaurant in this area of Yonkers by far. It's nothing fancy, but it's fresh, real, quality food. Ordered food via Uber eats as options are limited right now because of coronavirus so was very much anticipating our order. There was a issue because of the menu on Uber eats not matching up to what the restaurant saw on their end so we received a chicken Parm instead of a chicken Parm wrap. When I called because of our orders being wrong, instead of the person helping or offering to bring what we did want, he blamed it on Uber eats & condescended me as "picky" for wanting my salad not dressed too heavy. The one star is because I'm feeling generous and because I have no choice since I'd like to add my review. A friend ordered two grilled chicken sandwiches and instead we get what looks like bodega eggplant subs. The roasted peppers were good as well as the bread which was most likely the only thing fresh on this $12 mystery wedge. The chicken itself was pretty awful with no taste and gave you an instant gag reflex like it knew it should not have been eaten. The breading is literally running away from the thin sliced days old chicken that turned into tire rubber when fried. Maybe it was an off day. Not sure why it took so long for me to do this. Now that I live in Jersey where good pizza is scarce, it makes me realize what I had. People who know me know I am serious about pizza. I like to keep things simple, which is what pizza should be. At the end of the day New York style pizza is king. Don't get me wrong, other types are good in their own right, but I say pizza I want NY pizza. Growing up in Yonkers there were a few decent spots, but I have yet to find any pizza to beat this place. Its thin, but not too thin, crispy and chewy crust, and perfect balance of cheese and sauce. It's always best if you catch a pie right out of the oven. Best slices are plain, white with spinach, Buffalo chicken(with Bleu cheese), and the eggplant slice. Typically I'll get a plain and a special slice, and then get another plain slice for dessert. It's that good. Place is also a full service restaurant. But the main attraction is the pizza. Tuna sandwich is another good item I get from time to time. Look for Andy, best pizza guy of all time. He will make you feel right at home. Got to try it just once, and let the pizza speak for itself. read more

Terrible staff! I have been to this restaurant numerous times before Covid. Went on a Saturday night, I ordered linguine and white clams sauce. My order came with broccoli rabe on top. I told the server I did not order this and to please take this back and correct it. I had no problem with the mistake until the server returned in30 seconds and told me they had just made another order. You could see that the scrapped off the broccoli rabe from the top. She insisted that it was remade. PLEAE don't insult me on top of it. I ordered a chicken dish at this point. We ate and left, I will not return. I had been ordering from Dom and Vinny's for years. But the last few times it looks like they no longer read the customer's comments. For example: web site gives option for how much sauce you want on food. We've always selected the "little saice" option for medical reasons. But the last 3 orders we placed had tons of sauce. Besides selecting "little sauce" we also typed "please use very little sauce" in the comments area of the order. But it still was ignored. Our neighbors have stopped using them for the same reason. Neighbor's wanted pizza very well done. So they write that in the order. But pizza kept arriving very soft and not well done at all. It's a shame. If you eat in, it's not a problem. Why even offer options online when you don't read them? They should care about their delivery customers too. We'll order from Marcelino's that has better customer service. read more

I pulled over right in front, walked in grabbed a quick Sicilian walked over to the refrigerator and saw they had Yonkers Brewing Co, Grabbed a Hop Runner and Joe immediately asked me if I wanted a glass. I previously gave this review a 3 I don't know maybe they had an off day but I have ordered from them a couple of times since then and I have come to appreciate this mom and pop joint that is actually owned and operated by Italian Americans. Both were hot and made with fresh ingredients. The zucchini was served with some really good marinara and the bread was loaded with fresh tomatoes and other tasty ingredients. For our main course we had the gnocci with marinara, eggplant parmesan and shrimp fra diavolo. The eggplant and shrimp came with a choice of pasta (spaghetti, rigatoni, penne, etc.) or salad. I don't even know where to begin. I can't fathom to even understand how this place is open? I came in hungry and left hungry. I would have been embarrassed if I brought someone here. I sat in the back dinning room on Friday night. Ordered a house salad, burrata special and gnocchi w/ bolognese sauce. The house salad was just iceberg lettuce; no tomato/onion/cucumber. NADA! The burrata special(hah) was a joke. The bread was bigger than the burrata and oh my three slices of Roma tomato were on that plate(I guess it's to make up for salad?). The gnocchi w/ bolognese was not only plates like dog food. It was chewy and where in the WORLD do you put cream in a bolognese?! I couldn't finish after two bites. I respect my stomach to much to fill it with dog food. The wine was oxidized and more of a vincotto. The service holy shit the service was bad. The waitress came up to take my order, had no recommendations nor was she friendly and came back to give me the check. I saw more of the bus boy than her. I shoulda been more vocal there, but for health reasons I didn't wanna stress my already bad heart. I normally tip 20% but I couldn't fathom doing more than 15% hope the $6 tip went to that bus boy he deserved it. Cause you guys wanna belittle your patrons(former patrons), well here it is. I usually order from here through uber eats never a problem. I tried to order on Uber Eats and it was not working for some reason. I called in to order my usual and when I received my order it was incorrect.. I called and spoke to Andy to let him know and that I don't eat meat otherwise I would just stay with the order.. he did not apologize but was very rude and began to shout and hung up on me..I was in shock and called back because I couldn't make out what he was yelling due to his accent and tone but he says order from uber eats next time and hung up again. Big portions, delicious tomato sauce, and affordable prices. I was super impressed with how good the service was, usually pizzerias lack in this regard. Usually at pizzerias the emphasis is on the pizza, and their slices are fantastic. However, the entrees are some of the best I've ever had at an Italian restaurant.
