the service was pretty good but all of the pasta dishes were undercooked. the calamari was my favorite but the other dishes were missing something. the various dessert options looked tasty too but i didn't get to try any. the area where this is located is a cute downtown space, the exterior of the restaurant is nice.

It's very tight seating for a table of 2 sometimes, unless you can get a table by the front windows. One of our favorite Cesar salads, very flavorful. My Veal was very tender and the vodka sauce was delicious. My wife had the black pasta with shrimp and crabmeat. There were only 4 shrimp and very little crab, but of course lots of fresh pasta. She loved my dish. We would definitely go back and try other dishes.

The food, service, and ambience were amazing. I was in town for work and the people I worked with recommended this place. I ordered the Toast Pork and Fig, the lasagna, and cappuccino and lemon taimasu for dessert. Everything was great. Lots of people I saw brought in there own wine for dinner. They also sell their own pasta and and sauce as well. Would definitely go back!

Came here on a Thursday night for dinner with friends. And it was great. Shown to our table right away, the food and service were both excellent. We ordered the lasagna, which was rich, cheesy, when you get the dish, it's not the traditional lasagna you come to expect, it's presented from a different perspective, and the taste was on point to any good lasagna you can remember. The chicken and shrimp fra diavolo had just the right amount of heat, with tender shrimp, juicy chicken, and a flavorful, spicy tomato sauce that really brought the dish together. The short rib ragu was a standout -- the meat was fall-apart tender, and the sauce was hearty and deeply savory, paired perfectly with the pasta. Service was attentive and prompt throughout the meal. Our server checked in just the right amount, and everything came out hot and fresh. It's clear the kitchen takes pride in their food, and the front of house makes sure guests feel welcome. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to, highly recommend!

Angelo's Trattoria is my favorite restaurant and the best kept secret. If you could get a reservation here, do it! The service is fantastic. The food is always delicious and the ambiance is amazing. Great for a date night or out with another couple or small group.

Their sister restaurant (Toscano) is getting a lot of love but this place is excellent. Good service, fresh food and a nice ambiance . This restaurant is BYOB which is also a nice plus! The food: homemade pasta, excellent sauces and delicious apps. The meat quality seems quite high as well. I got a chicken cutlet topped with vodka sauce and cheese. Amazing. My wife got pasta the two times we went. Both excellent.

What a great little spot. The inside is super cozy and the service is fantastic. They do have a few outside tables in front as well. The food was amazing. All the pasta is fresh made and it shows in the flavor. The Emma's meatballs were delicious as well as the grilled octopus, the barata cheese special, and all of the appetizers we had. The chicken and shrimp fra Diavlo was amazing. The lamb special in steak specials I was told were great as well and perfectly cooked. The eggplant parm ravioli special was a hit for those that ordered that. Gnocchi And the chicken cutlet and pasta were delicious as well. Save room for dessert because they have some great selections as well. The bandino was heavenly as well as the whiskey butter cake. Definitely will be going back here. Best part, BYOB!

My husband and I went there last night for our Anniversary and it did not disappoint us. We started out with muscles mariner, and they were delicious. Also had a pork fried egg roll which was outstanding. We split the Angelo's salad which was also delicious. My husband had Pesce fried Diablo with homemade pasta. Excellent. I had the steak with potatoes also very good. The service was outstanding. Our waitress told us that they had a couple new bus people they were on point with clearing our plates quickly. Dress is casual. It's a small place but it filled up quickly. Definitely would recommend a reservation. But not least the dessert was amazing. Highly recommend this quaint little place in Bordentown!

Great Italian restaurant in bordentown city. This restaurant is BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle to enjoy with your dinner! The pasta is all homemade and I had the ricotta gnocchi. The pepperoncini added a really nice kick! The mussels bianco were absolutely amazing! Loved the creamy white sauce. Unfortunately we didn't save enough room for dessert, but they were all homemade and looked delicious. Definitely recommend for your next date night

You really can't beat the homemade pasta. You're able to sub any pasta in any dish. Usually need a reservation, it's not very big inside.

A cozy bar area greets customers if you want to grab a drink while waiting to be seated. They also offer upstairs seating, rounding out a welcoming and highly professional atmosphere that has stood the test of time.   THE FOOD * Bread Service: The bread arrived with a tasty honey, chive, thyme, salt, and pepper butter, which was a nice touch. * Kumamoto Oysters: Ice cold and refreshing. They were complemented with cocktail sauce, watermelon mignonette, and fresh grated horseradish. * Crab Salad Special: Served in a martini glass. It featured cold, chilled crab marinated with tequila, triple sec, and lime, carefully laid on a bed of avocado mousse with an Old Bay-lined rim. Delicious and refreshing during a hot summer evening. * Tri-Color Beet Salad: A roasted beet and citrus salad with whipped ricotta and a pistachio honey vinaigrette that provided rich bites. * New York Strip: Sourced from Allen Brothers in Chicago. A showstopper with excellent crust and beef flavor. We ordered the Au Poivre sauce, which was tasty, but the steak was so good on its own that I ended up using the sauce for my sides! * 14 oz Center Cut Filet: Also sourced from Allen Brothers. Tender as expected with a wonderfully executed crust. * French Bordeaux Wines: We ordered the Chateau Loudenne Medoc and the Chateau De Sales Pomerol. Both were tasty, medium-to-full-bodied, and served as excellent accompaniments to the steaks. * Tuna Special: Nicely seared tuna served over vegetables and udon noodles. * Limoncello Pistachio Tiramisu: Very light and a nice end to the meal. * Kentucky Butter Cake: Served in a cast-iron pot with vanilla ice cream. Yummy and rich.   THE SERVICE Our server, Gene, has been with the restaurant for 8 years and provided exceptional service. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, pointing out standout options like the pastrami-dusted bone-in filet and the 45-day aged tomahawk topped with a root beer bourbon bacon compound butter.   OVERALL A great steakhouse experience with a highly professional staff and a kitchen that flawlessly executes high-quality steaks. Walking in the hostesses greeted us and asked to take our coats and umbrellas. They were very complimentary of us and also gave me a single stem rose when they heard it was my birthday. Walking to our table we were able to take in the overall beauty and romantic ambiance in every room which was exactly what I hoped for. Our waiter and the staff were very attentive throughout the night and wanted to ensure we wanted for nothing. The food from the complimentary bread, olive, olive oil and prosciutto to the cocktails to the entrees and cannoli for dessert were a 10/10! We had not a single recommendation for improvement. After dinner we popped into the piano lounge for a night cap and to listen to the band. The lounge itself is sooo chic and plush!!! And the wait staff and bartenders are all top tier...they truly know how to create and overall start to finish fine dining experience. Oh and the band was fun! They asked for (& got) crowd participation which was fun to watch. This was 100% an overall romantic and fun fine dining experience and we already said we're coming back!

The pizza - dirty calm pie was good. The Italian chicken dish was a miss for us... tough chicken pieces and lacking flavor even though it had nice chucks of cut up vegetables. The lentil soup was adequate, it met base line flavor and presentation. I guess what locks and information is I noticed the population that's coming in. It's a much older crowd. Certainly the menu items are on the lower price side so it makes it affordable to go out. It's hard when you cook at home and you want to go out a couple nights a week at the weekend and for what we've been paying with inflation and the impact of tariffs we would expect a higher level of them when I'm putting out of my own kitchen. Again, a safe place a consistent place a busy place and if this is acceptable for you, then this is your go to.

We ordered some water along with mussels in red sauce, medium pizza with half onions. The mussels were very meaty with a delicious chunky tomato sauce. The pizza had a thin crust with more sauce than cheese, more of a tomato pie taste. It was okay but not the best ratio of tomato sauce to cheese. This place probably has a great tomato pie. I would definitely return just for the mussels alone. But if I ordered a pizza, I'd be a little more specific about its preparation.
