Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and honestly, I wouldn't have expected to find a pizza parlor here given the rustic feel of the neighborhood. But it was a pleasant surprise! The staff were very friendly, and the decor had a nice, cozy vibe. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which was pretty good overall. The chicken was a tad dry, and if I'm being picky, the plate was incredibly shallow, causing the lettuce to keep falling off the edge. But the flavors were on point, so I can't complain too much. My son went with pizza and boneless barbecue wings. The pizza looked great, and according to him, it tasted just as good. As for the wings, they were solid, though the barbecue sauce had a bit more kick than we expected. A touch less heat would've been perfect. All in all, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in the mood for pizza with a friendly atmosphere!

I'm back in NJ for a visit and my son recommended this place for lunch take out. I'm so glad he did! It was delicious! We shared a Greek salad which was loaded with good quality feta and Kalamata olives, an Italian hoagie (great roll ) and pasta fagiol soup. Enjoyed everything very much. Will definitely be back to try dinner.

Went to the La Galleria last night. Never know it existed. It's in a little strip mall in the middle of nowhere, basically, but apparently word of mouth from the surrounding homes keeps this place popular, as we were asked if we have reservations and the placed filled up quickly on a Saturday night. This is an Italian place, which has the usual pizza takout and eat-in business. It's very small and narrow, but seatingis comfortable and it's nicely decorated with simply but inviting table settings. There's an unoccupied property next door, but if they expanded, it would lose its cozy appeal. Apparently, there are daily specials and several were very tempting, but I saw a dish on the extensive menu that I had never heard of before, orecchiette, which was cooked in garlic, sweet Italian sausage, and broccoli rabe, and round flat pasta, and plenty of garlic. After hubby saw the description he went for this, too. I was a little disappointef because I was expecting to taste whatever he ordered. Everything sounded good and many dishes, for me, were ones I have never eaten. They had three varieties of rice balls and we opted for the Picasso Rice Balls as an appetizer. OMG enough to share, plenty of cheese, and covered in a sauce. I asked the waitress what it consisted of before ordering and she told me it was stuffed with breaded chicken. It was definetely a winner. Soup or salad came with the main. I had the well-seasoned Cesar salad and hubby went with a potato soup. I tasted it and it was good, but not thick like I like my potato soup. The main dish came out in large bowls. By now we were stuffed with warm bread and oil, salad, soup, and appetizer. We both ate half and I'm looking forward to heating everything up for dinner. Hubby declared the dish a winner and I agreed. For dessert we ordered to cannolis as take out. Needless to say they were delicious as well. I also want to say the waitstaff was wonderful, from the greeter who changed my seat away from the door (cold night), to our patient waitress, to the busboy, who made sure we had room on our table and extra paper napkins. They bring you a large cafe of ice cold water with lemon. This may sound crazy but that was the best tasting water I've ever had. I drank the entire bottle, urging my husband to take some, it was so good. I hate to drink plain water, but always trying to hydrate and had no problem doing so. Besides the water we ordered hot tea and a bottled tea drink. They do not serve liquor, but you can BYOB, as several groups had wine and seemed to really be enjoying themselves. We did, too. Great, friendly customer service was the icing on the cake. Even the pizza guys bid us a friendly goodnight. Good food, friendly efficient service - great combination. We'll be back

This place is the best!!!! Everything is delicious!! They make u feel like a family!! Super recommend!!

The restaurant is BYOB so we took a short walk down to Boyd's pharmacy to get some wine and beer. Bordentown parking is challenging, so be prepared to leave extra time for finding a spot. Our meal started with fresh baked sesame semolina bread that melted in your mouth. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara and my wife ordered the pasta with crab. Both dishes were amazing and portions were large (we both took some home). The service is professional and the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. They did have a lot of specials in addition to the menu. The atmosphere is quaint and somewhat elegant. In the nice weather you can even sit outside.

Pros: I genuinely can't think of a single favorable aspect of our dining experience…read more Cons: Everything--from the service, to the table spacing, to the food quality--was an issue. The ambiance and layout were problematic throughout the meal. The table spacing was already uncomfortably tight from the start, and toward the end of our visit, a party of 10 was seated in a way that completely blocked off the front left side of the already small dining area. This left only a narrow path on the right side for entry and exit. Given how confined the space became, it raised legitimate concerns about safety and whether the layout could pose an issue in the event of an emergency. After waiting 40 minutes for the complimentary bread, I finally had to speak up and ask for it to be brought to our table. Given that there were several open tables both inside and outside, we couldn't understand why there was such a tremendous delay with such a simple task. For an additional "starter" my dining partner ordered the Caesar salad which was completely drenched in dressing. While we were initially excited about the homemade pasta entrees, we were extremely disappointed once out they arrived. I understand that homemade pasta is typically served al dente, but neither dish was cooked properly. I had to cut my pasta with a knife because a fork simply wasn't enough, and my dining partner couldn't cut several pieces of his pasta at all--some were still noticeably crunchy. I was especially surprised, as I've dined here before and don't recall these kinds of issues--perhaps there has been a change in the kitchen. Unfortunately, we weren't able to address any of this during the meal because our waitress, Marti, never checked on us from the time she delivered our entrees (about an hour after we were seated). Not once, not even upon delivering the check did she ask us how our meals were! Before leaving, I chose to address the server, Marti, directly and share our experience. I expressed my disappointment with both the service and the food, but her response made an already bad experience significantly worse. Every comment was met with a large, clearly insincere smile and a dismissive "I'm sorry to hear that," with no effort to actually resolve anything. A good server would show genuine remorse, offer to involve a manager, or at the very least attempt to make things right--whether by addressing the issue or offering to comp part of the meal. None of that happened. There was no accountability, no urgency, and no real acknowledgment of the situation--just a phony, rehearsed response that felt completely disrespectful. To make matters worse, shortly after we left, my dining partner became ill, experiencing both diarrhea and nausea, along with severe stomach pain that has now lasted over 14 hours and is still ongoing. If I could give this experience a 0 out of 5, I would.

They were complemented with cocktail sauce, watermelon mignonette, and fresh grated horseradish. * Crab Salad Special: Served in a martini glass. It featured cold, chilled crab marinated with tequila, triple sec, and lime, carefully laid on a bed of avocado mousse with an Old Bay-lined rim. Delicious and refreshing during a hot summer evening. * Tri-Color Beet Salad: A roasted beet and citrus salad with whipped ricotta and a pistachio honey vinaigrette that provided rich bites. * New York Strip: Sourced from Allen Brothers in Chicago. A showstopper with excellent crust and beef flavor. We ordered the Au Poivre sauce, which was tasty, but the steak was so good on its own that I ended up using the sauce for my sides! * 14 oz Center Cut Filet: Also sourced from Allen Brothers. Tender as expected with a wonderfully executed crust. * French Bordeaux Wines: We ordered the Chateau Loudenne Medoc and the Chateau De Sales Pomerol. Both were tasty, medium-to-full-bodied, and served as excellent accompaniments to the steaks. * Tuna Special: Nicely seared tuna served over vegetables and udon noodles. * Limoncello Pistachio Tiramisu: Very light and a nice end to the meal. * Kentucky Butter Cake: Served in a cast-iron pot with vanilla ice cream. Yummy and rich.   THE SERVICE Our server, Gene, has been with the restaurant for 8 years and provided exceptional service.
