The food, the cleanliness, the freshness of everything from the bread to the salad to the homemade soap to the chicken cutlets freshly made to the gnocchi. Everything was excellent. The staff were stellar. I mean, the waitress a beautiful young girl named kelli was so kind and she kept running back-and-forth and kept checking on us every maybe 5 to 7 minutes and she did everything with a smile and every person in there the cook named Alex and the pizza guy whose name begins with the letter K, which I can't remember it right now, but that's Kelly's father and the front guy working around the pastry counter. His name was Anthony. All four of them were show lovely it was truly the best meal I've had in years and the cleanest place and so beautiful and then I found out that the father, the one who makes the pizzas did all the ceiling tile work and all the refurbishing in that main dining hall just gorgeous and just fabulous food I will go back there and dine in as often as possible and I can tell you this I have ordered takeout and had it delivered and it was always so delicious and just on a whim. I thought let's go take a drive there and I'm so glad we did and the prices were fabulous!! Plus, the music was fabulous and it did not smell stink. There was no stains on the counters not anything no chipped plates no bent silverware no chipped glasses. Last week we went to Amaris for dinner and had a wonderful meal. I ordered Chicken AMARI which was fabulous! Fresh portabello mushrooms, roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts cooked in a rich brandy sauce. Our waitress was great-we were not rushed at all. Highly recommend. Reliable food & service! It's my "go to" restaurant for pizza and Italian specialties!

This is a pizza review only as we haven't tried the food which I've heard is great. This is definitely one of the better pizzas we've had in the area although the large pies are 16" instead of the usual 18" which does make a difference as the slices are quite small. They do offer a nice deal...2 large plains for $21.99. Overall, it was a good sauce, lots of cheese and a nice crispy cornmeal crust even after transporting it home for a 10 minute ride. We will definitely return to try the food so stay tuned for that update. read more

it's a shame this restaurant does serve decent food, but you have to deal with some real idiots to eat it. Everything from ordering to the delivery that we received was wrong. and that's not all that we received that was wrong when I called to try to get this corrected I had an insolent child who identified herself as a manager insult me and alienate me from ever doing business with this place again and to make matters worse when I spoke to the owner he's every bit as ignorant do the math 2 takeout meals $22 each five dollars tip for the driver to deliver it . It's not a lot of business but $50 a week adds up and this genius is has lost that. Over an order of garlic bread go figure. read more

First time for me and I'll be back. I was told they have good Cheesesteak and so it was delicious with green peppers and fried onions. I would have like more provolone cheese on it but maybe next time I'll ask for extra cheese. The service was confusing meaning I placed my order and was asked if to take out or for here and I said for here. It got served to me in a bag to go. Anyway it was confusing but overall I'll be back. TWO SLICE SPECIAL REVIEW Amari's Pizzeria & Restaurant is the replacement for Momma Flora's Restaurant on South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ. It looks the same, except for the new menu and metal name on the wall. And, luckily for these new folks, their pizza is just as good as the previous tenant. I sampled there $4.99 Special - two plain cheese slices and a cold drink - this afternoon. I asked for them to be "well done." That is exactly what I got. The crust undercarriage was firm on reheating and held their points. Each bite was met with a snappy report. The balance of sauce and cheese was very good. This was one pizza kitchen that knows not to put on too much mozzarella if it wants a good finished pie. The red gravy tasted of salt, pepper, garlic and basil. The dough also had a good flavor and excellent chewy texture. Service was friendly and prompt, and everyone I saw seemed happy to be working there. Good thing, because I was happy to be eating there. read more

Finally opened, taking over the former italian joints spot - is Amari's. My fiance and I stopped in the other night as we noticed all lights on, and employees inside, and cars in the lot and people emerging with take out orders. We went 2 hours before closing, so I wasn't expecting the best slice in the world as it had probably been sitting for the better part of the day....but the sausage slice we shared was pretty good. There were ample sausage balls on top (ala chain style sausage) and a nice coating of cheese. A few minutes in the oven to reheat, and we had a slice that would do in a pinch for a quick and cheap belly filler. As we opted for counter service/order at the register/seat yourself - we kept it simple and also ordered a cheese steak and chicken parm sandwhich. We made it a combo with a small portion of fries for each and a fountain drink. My cheese steak was good, chopped meat, not greasy at all (phew), the chicken parm sandwhich hearty and good. The bread was hoagie style. The fries are my fav kind....kind of battered? think seasoned curly fry but straight. The employees were all very friendly and accommodating. There were a few families and couples dining in the dining room - the food that came out of the kitchen looked great. So we will be back to dine in for sure. There was a lovely looking outdoor patio with tables and umbrellas set up - for those al fresco diners. Oh and the place got a really nice face lift as well, nice grey tones. We will def be back to try out more and certainly hope this new joint succeeds after the former italian joints unfortunately incident. read more

I want to love this place. It's close by, super cute, clean and friendly staff. But, the food is just really lacking any flavor. Our meal started with rolls and sauce. Both were very bland and just OK. We had a pepperoni pizza that again was average. The sauce could use a little kick and the dough needs some more flavor. We had my grandmothers after funeral gathering here today. It was a long, hard, emotional day and ending it at Amaris with an amazing delicious dining experience with the best service in the biz made our tough day so much better. I was disappointed when Rosas went out of business. Used to have parties there and eat there all the time. Obviously what happened was shocking to say the least. Now a new name and business opens up, took some time to try it out. First the food is good and my kids love the pizza. The service is excellent. I've been here not about 6 times. We went for a sit down italian dinner. Not pizza. Every time we get calamari the feed back is that the sauce is great. The squid is a bit too chewy but I'm going off someone who is very sensitive to tender calamari. The gnocchi is a homerun especially the pesto gnocchi It got ordered every time I've been there. One in our party got Franchise and loved it. I had a gluten free chicken dish. I made a mistake because after tasting others I go for something with the marinara. I'm picky on the gravy. But they have a good one. Next time I'll be classic maybe with a baked ziti or a lasagna. The prices are fair and the food is really good, you can spend more and get less somewhere else. read more

It's good when it first opened. Ordered 2 pies and some wings last nite. The one with grilled chicken only had chicken on half, I didn't say half and they didn't charge me half. So I have been here twice since it opened and feel like I can give the food an honest review. THE GOOD: The marinara sauce, meatballs, pesto, and soups have all been very good both times I've visited. (They give you marina to dip your bread in, and I've inevitably ended up eating it with a spoon each time) The broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes are a great accompaniment to the entrees. Portions are good sized and prices seem appropriate. THE BAD: I wouldn't say that any of this is really bad, as much as I'd say I'd like to see it improve. For as good as the marinara sauce is to dip your bread, I find the bread itself to be a bit boring (typical pizzeria rolls, I'd like to see them spice up their bread variety a bit). The house salads are fresh, but the house dressing is a bit bland for my taste, and the plating gives it a "cheap feel". Again I'd suggest that they try and step up the game with the salads. Lastly, I have ordered fish dishes both times I've gone in. One was a salmon and the other was flounder. Both times I found the dishes to be a bit dry and bland and found myself questioning the quality of the seafood they purchase and/or the skill of the chef. Overall there are a lot of good things to say about Amari's, I just worry that they fall into a very crowded market of average Italian places here in Hamilton. While the food and atmosphere is certainly pleasant, I didn't feel that the quality of the cooking (of some of the dishes) had the same wow factor as a few of the other strong Italian places in the area (and my family goes out for Italian at least once a week) Given that they put in some effort to spruce up the interior, I'm hoping that they will consider doing the same with some of the menu items I referenced above, but overall, a good middle of the road place to stop into for a convenient weekday dinner. read more

Our travel sports team had an end of season party at Amari's. Their separate dining room had plenty of space for our large crowd of players and families. The service was really good. We had two wonderful servers who were very attentive and accommodating. We were offered many menu choices for kids and adults and the food came out quickly and all looked and smelled delicious! Everyone seemed to agree that all meals were so good. Also, great price for similar event/large party at other comparable restaurants nearby. We will definitely be adding Amari's to our family's dining out/delivery options and I will definitely consider holding an event or large dinner party there in the future! read more

Penne vodka was very good. Quick and easy pick up. Crisp salad but could do without the olive in it. One suggestion for the owners, NEW BREAD. The bread that came with the pasta basically tasted and looked like a fancier hot dog roll. Would recommend similar bread to MF or something different. read more
