I've got a soft spot for mom and pop places, and Angelo's 6 Burger is one of them. The food is super tasty and you do get your money's worth. The loco fries come with a heaping pile of pastrami, beef, and cheese, and you can ask for salsa to add some additional flavor. The burger is huge and you can opt for a single or double patty (which can easily feed two). They even put avocado in it, which adds a nice creaminess and complements the dressing. The employee who helped us proactive offered to cut it in half for us, which was appreciated. Drive through and dine-in available. Cash and credit card accepted. Free parking available. There is a restroom available for customers. Package meal deals available. Overall, a great spot to get delicious fast food in Upland.

I love this little place, not too far from home. Today I had a machaca burrito with salsa. The burrito was so big that I could only eat 3/4 of it! Looks like tomorrow i am eating the last 1/4 as leftovers. The people at the cash register were really nice when I picked it up as a GrubHub order. This cool looking little restaurant is always clean and they have a lot of great specials! If you are passing through Upland on Montain Avenue and 8th, you gotta stop by and give them a try!

What is this??? Oh man, what a disappointment, they actually gave these to me with no hesitation. Burnt but uncooked? Onion is soft.

Terrible, actually served me this and a meat burger instead of veggie burger, hold your cash.

Spent $20 here today on a drink and a salad. Salads meat was rotten and smelled and veggies were not edible either. Red cabbage was brown, tomatoes were black, meat had strange odor and taste. Oh not to mention a cockroach leg on the top of my food container. When I called the restaurant and asked for refund a rude chick on the phone said well I don't know what to tell you and hung up on me. Ive been here before with no issue but with the rudeness and lack of food quality I will not be going back.

    Tacos

I miss the tacos they use to have! These are not worth the drive or price! Non of the veggies were inside, the meat was seasoned but dry! He did not use tongs or gloves and the over priced ranch was not good! $10 for 2 tacos .. and $5 for some fries. The shells taste like store bought shells! Very disappointed

Hard taco on a pre-made tortilla shell. Not good. Guess I'll give you one more chance. And actually order a burger next time.

Service okay, not welcoming. Food ok if you're never coming back. The ambiance... well none to speak. I won't be coming back even if I Desperate

It calls to the food barbarian who dwells within and who occasionally arises and goes marauding through kitchens, throwing whatever is available onto large sheets and placing such sheets under hot irons, and scorching them dousing them with sauces and cheeses and chilies and chili. Only to be sent once again asunder As a consequence of devouring such slop. But the food here is not slop. I digress. The shakes are thick and creamy. The fries are crispy and delicious. The Smashburger was very nicely done, seasoned well and tasty. All in attendance agreed it was a satisfying, quality meal. The counter service was impressive. It was like they were getting paid to attend to the needs of customers. And perhaps I'm a simpleton, but the fact that the burgers have creative, cheeky names 1000% increases my desire to try each one. The queso and fixins on the loaded fries met the needs of the aforementioned food barbarian. He slumbers.

The lovely host at the counter knew her dishes and helped us make a selection. (We overheard the chef talking with another guest about how everything is made from scratch in house using the freshest ingredients, and you can truly taste the difference). I am going to be real honest with our review. I ordered a hamburger that was absolutely terrible. The bread was big and bulky and hard, the meat. patty was dry and hard as a rock. It had no sauce/no pickles & one tiny little piece of onion. My husband ordered a pastrami sandwich, which did not have much pastrami in it, the fries were not cooked. They were not crispy. They were pretty much floppy and raw. The young lady working there must have been new because she did not know how to work the cash register. There was a young guy that came out from the kitchen and started talking to another one of customers and his girlfriend. The employee started asking the customer about their relationship... Not professional at all. Worst pastrami sandwich, worst burger & worst fries.

As for the fries, I just loved how thick and well-seasoned they were to bite into. The portion was huge tho, so I did have to ask to take my leftovers to-go, but even then, it was still just as enjoyable at home! I would absolutely order the Truffle Burger again!! I also ended up getting the Butterfly Kisses, which was really nice. Upon first receiving it, it was really pretty, and when taking a sip, I really liked the fruity taste to it. Tho, definitely make sure to mix it, since the top purple half is where the tequila initially resides lol. It was also nice that we were able to get such cute stickers at the end :)

The place feels more like a bar than a restaurant, and there were a few things that brought the experience down. The Food: The mozzarella sticks were great--crispy and delicious. The fries and tater tots were also really good and came out just right. The pretzel bites were good while they were hot, but they quickly became cold and soggy. The Oink Burger had good flavor, but the coleslaw completely took over. It was way too watery, making the burger soggy instead of giving it that nice crunchy texture. I think it needed less juice and more fresh vegetables. Drinks: The beer selection was decent, but the beers could definitely have been colder. Service & Atmosphere: Service was okay. Not the best, but not the worst either. The staff seemed to be doing what they could with the people they had available. The atmosphere definitely felt more like a drinking bar than a restaurant. There was also a small issue with the AC unit above our table leaking water near my daughter, which obviously wasn't ideal. Overall: There were some good food items, but too many little things added up. Between the soggy food, lukewarm beer, AC leak, and bar-like atmosphere, I just wasn't impressed. Not Bombdiggity. Not terrible either. Just mid all the way.

Service was slow and inattentive the whole time, from seating to when they were around to take our order or drop off an item, they were never friendly or courteous. They seemed annoyed having to work. This location of Back Abbey in Upland is in the Colonies area, in the same plaza as Albertson, European Wax Center, and Massage Envy. When I pulled up I was genuinely happy that this location was much larger than their original Claremont location. They have tables, a bar area, and a large outdoor patio. There were many tv screens for the sports fan. I actually liked the décor and had positive hopes for this place. When I looked at their menu I was happy to see the menu grow since my last encounter with their original Claremont location. Once again, I was excited for the business and genuinely wanted to support them. I was narrowing down what to order and I even imagined coming back to try other items. My boyfriend had the Back Abbey Burger ($20) and I was mistakenly excited to see the beer cheese so I got the Soft Pretzel ($10). We also shared a Pomme Frites (half $9/full $11) and went all out with the full cause it's a better deal. My boyfriend also got a Coke ($4). I was asking the waitress about the sangria but their version doesn't have edible fruits, so I was less interested. Honestly if she was more friendly I would have gotten something else. I just got water. THE ONLY THING WE ENJOYED IS THE POMME FRITES. I remember liking these from their Claremont location. Fresh cut and super crispy as they double fry it in duck fat. Yummmm. My boyfriend said his burger was okay but he didn't like the aged gouda which affected every bite of the burger. Ugh now let me get to the pretzel. The saddest pretzel in all of the lands. I was soo excited for this... anddd COLD BEER CHEESE!! Whatttttttt??? Honestly I wanted to ask staff if it was meant to be cold but they were no were in sight. We were waiting sooooo long to wave someone down for the check. If service was faster at least I can be annoyed and leave and get over it. They were so slow it left me to stew in my annoyance of the unsatisfying depressing pretzel. Also, neither the coke or the waters were refilled. When we were FINALLY able to wave someone down, it was still a while to get the check. We also for a togo container FOR THE FRIES. She can see the majority of the pretzel was uneaten and I made it a point to say I didn't care to take it togo. Of course she didn't care to ask any follow up questions. Food being bad is one thing... I could have always came back to try the duck confit or steamed mussels like I intended but the service made me soooooooooo miserable waiting around. I don't have time for this.
