My burger had a chemical, nasty burnt taste & that's pretty much all I tasted and smelled. No salt no flavor just a chemical smell. I tried my hardest to eat it & i just couldn't. Almost $60 for 2 burger combos & a small kids meal. We all didn't like it & the amount of fries wasted was disappointing. I have known of Legends since pre-Covid times. I only know 3 of their locations... 1 in Rancho Cucamonga, 1 in Glendora, and 1 in Upland. I was craving for their Chef salad so I came to this Legends in Upland as I was in the neighborhood. Their Chef salad has always been my favorite because they put lots of turkey and ham strips plus the abundance of salad base. They also have avocados and red onions in it. Just fill with healthy goodness. I went thru the drive-thru. Their menu is quite massive. A nice gentleman took my order. There was only one car in front of me so the wait wasn't too long. OMG... the Chef salad was heavy in weight... it's a very good sign... it has depth of ingredients. It also comes with a pita bread and your choice of salad dressing. I normally go for ranch dressing, but got light Italian dressing instead. I also got a cup of ice water. Salad was good, but the ham was a bit salty. It didn't used to be like that. Turkey was fine. I wished there was more avocados though. Italian dressing was on point. Water was good, too. Hey, I'm particular about my water. I have drank some bad water from other places where I literally could taste the pipes LOL. Thank you for having good water Legends! You may want to check on that ham though. read more

We ordered one pastrami sandwich to share and a regular onion ring and we both drink water and our bill was still $30. If you like pastrami, get it somewhere else. Finally a childhood restaurant is bringing back the basics!! I know locations experienced a shift in new management last year. The fries were different, ranch wasn't homemade anymore, items were removed, ingredients were changed. Good news they finally are going back to normal! Homemade ranch here is the best!! I've been wanting to try this place since some friends recommended it to me. Menu looks like it's an above average burger joint. I ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and my husband got a chicken breast sandwich, we also got an order of fries and onion rings. Portions are very generous and I think next time we'll go with a regular size of fries. The food was great and even though the line took a little while it was worth it since the food was fresh. Customer service was A+, very friendly and they even gave me all condiments and napkins without me even having to ask. There's ample parking and it's easy to get to. Well, that has changed, and judging by the lack of line at the drive through and the empty dining room, I'm not the only one who feels this way. For the price of a legends meal I can go to a sit down restaurant for a better meal and experience. Today, 12/13/25 noon time, I was very disappointed and even disgusted with the customer service of this location. I went to get lunch with my mom and we ordered my dad a burrito(to go/hold because he wasn't with us). My mom ordered a quesadilla and a sampler(onion rings, zucchini fries) and I ordered chili cheese fries. Quickly after we ordered my mom called my dad to tell him that we ordered him a burrito; however, he said he wanted a quesadilla instead. The response from the team to my mom was, "We already made it". I couldn't believe it, how could we not CHANGE THE ORDER? Absolutely unheard of especially if that wasn't supposed to be made yet. So I went up and asked, for the burrito (that was to be made later) to be changed to a quesadilla. I spoke to two workers, and one of which, unknowingly was the manager. They both said that the change would be made however, when it was time for the food to come, the only thing that came was a to-go burrito and not even our own food that we were sitting down waiting for. When our food came, the sampler was cold and my mom ate food that she didn't want(she doesn't even like beans) because she wanted my dad to have his order correct. For my mom's sake I keep my composure, but really I should have canceled the whole order, got my money back and made a new order. REALLY, I should/would have walked but I was thinking about my parents. This place is ran by people who have English as their second language and it's clear to see that it's, "The cooks way or no way". The female manager is more interested in pleasing the cooks, then their own customers. While grabbing to-go containers, a very nice worker(elderly caucasian) who saw my struggle asked if everything had worked out and when I told her, she was very disheartened and asked me if I would like to speak with the manager. That's when I found out who the manager was. The manager was filled with excuses of them being busy. I told her, as someone who used to serve customers as a living, "busy" was not valid. I have memories of them going back to my high school days when the upperclass buddies first introduced me to Legends. It was a bit cheaper back then, but you know what do you expect when minimum wage and cost of living increases. I always enjoy their Omelets. Large huge generous omelets with hash browns or fruit fruit and a choice of toast, white, wheat, sourdough, rye or english muffin. The portion is definitely shareable. I also enjoy their salads. All salads come with pita bread and your choice of dressing: Italian lite, honey mustard, blue cheese, green, ranch or thousand island. I usually share it or eat it for 2-3 meals. My favorite is the Avocado salad ($8.99). It has the the salad with tomatoes, cucumber, red onions, a boiled egg and a generous amount of avocado. The naughty unhealthy fried stuff that are well beloved at Legends are the onion rings ($4.99/reg, $7.99/large), zucchini fries ($4.99/reg, $7.99/large) and the fried mushrooms ($4.99/reg, $7.99/large). If you want everything, you can get the Lgends sampler with all three ($7.89/reg, $9.49/large). Recently I came back here to meet up with my high school friend. I ordered via drive thru and we parked our calls next to each other with the windows slightly down for a lunch outing. I felt safe enough with no contact and physical distance. This will be the last time we ever eat at this place! let me start off by saying that this place is ran by people who have no Idea of what they are doing especially the manager. So I ask to get a breakfast plate for my grandparents at 11am today Sunday after church and the gentlement helping us says they no longer serve breakfast as it was 11am already and could only serve breakfast burritos or sandwiches (doesnt make sense) I said it was fine but my grandparents were a lil dissapointed as they wanted pancakes for breakfast but were ok with a club sanwich, so as were about to leave theres two white (senior) couples that recieve french toast and panckages in their meal so I ask the lady working the drive thru and she says that is not right as breakfast ends at 12pm. She asked me whi the gentelmen that took our order was and said he shouldve know but she is sorry and will be bringing out the manager to me. As the manager approached me and asked what happened I explained what happened and I felt discriminated as the other 2 couples were white and all he could say is that he was sorry and that the person that took out order doesnt work weekends and doesnt know the time breakfast ends but he took the pancakes/french toast order of the two couples @12pm?? also he never offered a free drink or any comp to resolve the problem so that is why I said they have no clue what they are doing or maybe is because the burgers are 20$ "expensive" and trying to make as much profit as they can to people who wont complain!
