Tried EZ Burger Grill and I totally get why locals call it the In-N-Out dupe I ordered a cheeseburger and it was so good. Super fresh ingredients and packed with flavor The fries "wild style" were a win The cheese and house sauce weren't overly stringy, and the sautéed onions were cooked just right It's conveniently located next to a car wash and they have two drive-thrus (love that!) plus a few outdoor tables if you want to sit and eat Overall, I really enjoyed it and I'll definitely be coming back

My first time trying I was very pleased the burger was amazing, the produce was fresh the cheese was cheesing lol I would definitely rate this 5 stars very pleased if I had a choice between this restaurant and In and Out I would definitely pick them the fries were delicious and hot unlike most restaurants you have to eat the fries before the burger because the fries would get cold. The staff was also friendly and provided excellent customer service so absolutely I believe her name was Michelle she was exceptional she provided excellent service

Never been here before however it has been around since 1969. That tells you everything you need to know. Small little location and I was lucky enough to come on their Wednesday special. It did take some time before I received my order however, it just shows everything is made fresh order. I wasn't disappointed whatsoever. It was excellent. I really enjoyed it and even better that I came on their Wednesday special so it was easier on the pocket. I just went with a classic cheeseburger, it was excellent. I'm so glad I gave this place a chance now will be hard not to show up on a weekly basis!

Slightly older review but, I just forgot. So this is the In-n-Out clone and for good reason; it did have a similar taste. What was the downer was how long it takes to just order and get the food. The place is very tiny, just like in-n-out, so we took our food to go and ate at a park. The lost star is for the amount of time waiting to order

Was in the area and remembered this place from a YouTube foodie influencer. We ordered the "double double" dupe meal. The burger was ok, had the saltiness on point of in and out but the bun was a bit denser. The meat seemed comparable and seasoning. The fries were like McDonald's fries nothing like in and out. Ketchup is from New Street (generic). Summer afternoon and this location does not have indoor dining. Was thinking of having a full experience to compare to In and out, but had to opt to sitting out in their "patio area". Seating is in front of the order window as both drive thru's on either side of the building exit. Another set patio dining is next to the dumpster that is enclosed. We were the only ones sitting outside during lunch hour on a Saturday. The property and building needs serious cleaning and updating. We sat outside and there was an empty mini liquor bottle and empty box of cigarettes. You get a whiff of the car wash soap water since it connected to a self service car wash. The woman taking our order wasn't all that friendly or just focused and busy? I guess when it's hot outside and your shared working space is super crammed I'd be a little moody myself. The average home kitchen is bigger than the entire business! I think in and out is still worth the wait whether it's the drive through or in restaurant dining. This might be convenient for you if you live close by.

This is a yummy classic burger better than in and out! The lettuce is crispy and full. Tomatoes and onions is fresh. Sauce is sooooooooooo good. Overall a great burger, Service was great they were fast and prompt. Ordered from the window and there was also a line of cars through the drive through. Didn't take long. There's a couple tables outside with no shade. The fries were also good. Definitely would come again on Wednesday or Sunday for their burger deal which is under $3 after 5pm. There's a good number of parking spots. It's also next to a car wash so you can wash your car and get a burger

Amazing burger!! Malik took great care of everyone, awesome customer service! Just need a Pepsi Zero and it would have been perfect!

Some of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had! The staff is always so friendly when we come here and the service is very quick for it all being made fresh. The burgers are also really good and the wild style fries are a hands down favorite as well! We always take our food home because there isn't very many spots to eat outside but since we live close our food still stays very hot.

All I asked for was to add pickle with no Mayo or onion. Instead I got pickle, spread, and no onions, tomatoes, lettuce.

I'm sad to report another crappy experience. We were on the road for a long time from San Bernardino to LA and then didn't get back late due not traffic. I hadn't eaten all day and decided to eat at one of my hometown faves. Tonight's chicken sandwich was really, REALLY salty and had a little bit of an off taste towards the end. Everything looked fine and well cooked but the taste itself was just off. The fries really salty too. The beverage was probably the worst part, I ordered a coke and I don't know what I got but it tasted like flat pure syrup and ended up being tossed. I have a soft spot for them but these last couple times it's not just hitting the mark how it used to.

Drive through is kinda slow. But lines are not long. I guess the wait balances out with "the other place." I want to try their breakfast burritos. You also get free coffee before 11:00 with purchase of breakfast. One thing I wish they'd do is WEAR GLOVES to prepare food. The man who was cooking took a break and I saw him smoking. I was so afraid my food was going to taste like cigarettes. Thankfully it didn't. One other thing that I didn't like was that there was a young African American girl who seemed to be new on the job. I was a bit embarrassed for her as the man was raising his voice at her because she wasn't doing something right with the ice. Poor girl. There are small areas to sit and eat outside. But, as far as the burgers, they are pretty comparable to In-N-Out. The fries are more like McDonalds fries. Shakes seem more like soft serve in a cup, but were very good. Next time I'd like to try a breakfast!

Burgers were delicious! Service was okay, guy at the window seemed new so we were understanding when they forgot to give us our fries with our order. When we opened our chicken tenders box we realized they were really light in color and upon taking a bite it was chewy & undercooked. Overall we regret coming and wish we would've went to in n out, this wasn't our first time here so we have great experiences to compare this too. They just so happened to miss the mark this day!

The blue cheese burger I wished were a bit stronger in blue cheese flavor (as a person who loves lots of blue cheese), but the burger was definitely filling for both the eyes and the tummy. The only thing I wished is that the burger didn't feel as heavy/greasy, but if that were the case, I probably wouldn't have chosen a burger. That said, the grease did feel like it took away from the flavors, making the burger tasting milder than I had wanted. That said, it was very enjoyable overall. The dog menu was surprisingly different from what I've seen. It was surprisingly healthy looking with the amount of vegetables they added to my dog's bowl including some Brussels sprouts. There was no rice at all, which was fine for me since my dog doesn't really like rice. Unfortunately, he is so picky, so he picked out the chicken from the vegetables even with me pre-mixing it, and I think the vegetables are too firm to his liking. However, I appreciate the food being healthy and the portions, even if he himself will not really eat most of it. I'm sure some other dog will do a lot better with the bowl!

Service was slow and inattentive the whole time, from seating to when they were around to take our order or drop off an item, they were never friendly or courteous. They seemed annoyed having to work. This location of Back Abbey in Upland is in the Colonies area, in the same plaza as Albertson, European Wax Center, and Massage Envy. When I pulled up I was genuinely happy that this location was much larger than their original Claremont location. They have tables, a bar area, and a large outdoor patio. There were many tv screens for the sports fan. I actually liked the décor and had positive hopes for this place. When I looked at their menu I was happy to see the menu grow since my last encounter with their original Claremont location. Once again, I was excited for the business and genuinely wanted to support them. I was narrowing down what to order and I even imagined coming back to try other items. My boyfriend had the Back Abbey Burger ($20) and I was mistakenly excited to see the beer cheese so I got the Soft Pretzel ($10). We also shared a Pomme Frites (half $9/full $11) and went all out with the full cause it's a better deal. My boyfriend also got a Coke ($4). I was asking the waitress about the sangria but their version doesn't have edible fruits, so I was less interested. Honestly if she was more friendly I would have gotten something else. I just got water. THE ONLY THING WE ENJOYED IS THE POMME FRITES. I remember liking these from their Claremont location. Fresh cut and super crispy as they double fry it in duck fat. Yummmm. My boyfriend said his burger was okay but he didn't like the aged gouda which affected every bite of the burger. Ugh now let me get to the pretzel. The saddest pretzel in all of the lands. I was soo excited for this... anddd COLD BEER CHEESE!! Whatttttttt??? Honestly I wanted to ask staff if it was meant to be cold but they were no were in sight. We were waiting sooooo long to wave someone down for the check. If service was faster at least I can be annoyed and leave and get over it. They were so slow it left me to stew in my annoyance of the unsatisfying depressing pretzel. Also, neither the coke or the waters were refilled. When we were FINALLY able to wave someone down, it was still a while to get the check. We also for a togo container FOR THE FRIES. She can see the majority of the pretzel was uneaten and I made it a point to say I didn't care to take it togo. Of course she didn't care to ask any follow up questions. Food being bad is one thing... I could have always came back to try the duck confit or steamed mussels like I intended but the service made me soooooooooo miserable waiting around. I don't have time for this.

Or you abandon all hope of civility and propriety, and just make a pool of chili and cheese and try to contain it in a burger somehow. This last type you definitely want to eat with a knife and fork. What you don't want is somewhere in between--too much chili and cheese to pick up the burger, but not quite enough left over to make you consider a knife and fork. I think that's the problem with the Hitch's version. It was very hard to eat because the chili would look some onto the wrapper but it was still portable enough to never eating it as a meal. The taste was good and I could see why people like it. But I felt kind of unfulfilled after eating it. The onion rings were good but they put so many compared to the burger, at an almost 2:1 ratio. If they had made the burger a bit bigger it wouldn't have seemed that they were skimping out on the main attraction. The service was okay. I didn't feel unwelcome. It just didn't feel like anyone was super helpful--no recommendations, no one checking how I liked everything, and not much banter when ordering. It felt very clinical. The space was nice though.
