UPDATE: I was getting ready to order here again after the great family dinner of pizza and wings we had last time until I noticed that they add on a 4% charge for using a credit card. On a $200 order that's an $8 surcharge what costs them 1.5% and a 28 cent swipe fee. I could easily have paid cash and would have if I had known this. However, they put this in tiny print at the bottom of their online menu and it's dishonest. So we are ordering from a different place with better Yelp reviews and no huge credit card surcharge and slightly lower pizza prices--which add up when we need 6 pies and 60 wings for 20 people. If you are going to charge me for using a credit card at least be honest about it and tell me so I have the opportunity to pay cash rather than hiding it from me. It's dishonest and has cost you my future business. While your food was good I dislike sneaky undisclosed charges like this and won't do business with dishonest places that pull stunts like this. Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me. Fortunately this doesn't happen because I never come back. read more

My husband I decided we wanted a sit-down dinner on Saturday night as we have been working 7 days a week and just eating whatever for dinner. I ordered the veal francese and I am fussy about my veal and this was tender and you can cut it with a fork my husband ordered the shrimp scampi. They were both delicious as if we were up in NJ having a real Italian dish. I have tried his pizza at lunch, and I think it is one of the best pizzas in Florida. One of my other favorite dishes is the Michelangelo pasta. My husband has also had the Gorgonzola salad with blackened chicken which he said was amazing. The prices are fantastic, they give you plenty of food and the staff is wonderful. They have music I believe 4 or 5 nights a week in the back room which has a bar. The place is very lively when the music is playing, and the staff is fantastic even when it is crowded. I will be back when we are in the area and try many of his other dishes. After 35 years in Jupiter looking for the best NY pizza, we tried Angelo's for the first time. Pizza, soup and salad on the lunch menu was very good. We ordered the meat and cheese calzone to take home. Service by Stephanie and the other staff was quick and efficient. Stephanie was very helpful with her recommendations. The dining area was fine for lunch. Next time, we will have dinner in the dining room. So after 35 years of looking, we found our "go to" Italian restaurant. read more

Recently renovated, this local pizza joint is so much more than a slice! New bar, comfy, cozy, welcoming feel with fabulous live music you can't go wrong for affordable Italian and a delicious meal! I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled chicken dinner salad for only $11 while my family had smorgasbord of side of meatballs, garlic rolls, side salads with a delightful house dressing and two flavorful pizzas cooked perfectly with tastebud tantalizing toppings! Also, their lunch special can't be beat! What makes this place really special is the owner and their family- the Furfaro's. What happened?? Took friends last night having told them how good it was, and it was a bust!! Pasta fagioli was an overly thick odd colored , strange tasting concoction not resembling any I've ever had. Pasta was not drained well enough, which left a soupy red mess in the plate. Lasagna had a thick hard layer of multiple noodles, which was inedible. Penne Al a vodka was ok at least, as were rolls and salad. I was quite frankly embarrassed to have taken our friends. Had it been my first experience, I would not have returned. Off night? Different chef? I hope this is not a trend! read more

Worst pizza I've ever had. Costco literally makes better pizza than this place at a better price. ANGELO'S - PIZZA IN JUPITER JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER Everybody loves pizza. Or at least they should. I grew up a couple hours west of Chicago and have had my fill of thick crust pies. Pizzerio Uno been there. Gino's East done that. But my love has always been the thin crust version and nobody does in better in Jupiter than Angelo's. They have been here for a long time, over 25 years. And if they keep putting out pies like this they will be here for a lot longer. We always ask for ours "extra thin" and Angelo's is always happy to take a small crust and stretch it into a large and accomplish what we like. The sauce is excellent, the toppings are fresh and you see our favorite in the picture: ham and mushroom extra thin. Call me boring. Call me repetitive. But please bring me a ham and mushroom stretched extra thin. On the table you will find crushed oregano, grated cheese and red pepper flakes and I use them all. There is also garlic but I don't use that. I like it like I like it and Angelo's fits the bill whenever I need a pie . Service is OK, the house wine is OK but that pizza. Angelo's isn't just a pie place although I don't waver. We have tried the Penne ala Vodka and it is good. We usually have a tossed salad and it too is good. But that pizza...it's sooooo good. The house wine is OK but that pizza. I've even been known to sneak out the front door with a Cannoli and enjoyed every bite when I got home. But that pizza. We have options here in the Northern Palm Beaches but for me pizza night is Angelo's night. We don't take out as I don't think any pie travels well. I have lived in the north end of Palm Beach County since 1987, and until I read a previous review on Yelp, I had not even heard of Angelo's...not one time. The restaurant is located in a small strip center on north side of Toney Penna Drive, in Jupiter. There is ample free parking. The restaurant opened in 1988, and again, I had no knowledge that it existed. I am glad that I discovered it, and wanted to share some of my comments. As you can imagine from being located in a strip center, the rent is not likely that high, so prices are very reasonable across the board for everything. I hate it when Italian restaurants charge huge amounts for basic food. Remember when Little Italy in NYC was once a pleasure to stroll through and have a decent dinner for a reasonable price? Today, you could spend over $40.00 for a small plate of spaghetti. And, I don't care what went into it, the dish is still spaghetti. Only a sucker would pay such a price for cooked pasta. Angelo's is family owned and operated. Angelo, the owner is almost always there going back and forth from the kitchen to the customers making sure everything is right. You know that if the owner is closely watching things, your food and service will be there too. I have been there several times now, and can say that the pizza is excellent, as are the wings. And, oh yes, the spaghetti is good too. By the way, the spaghetti is priced under $12.00, unless you want to add sausage or some meatballs. One of the aspects of Angelo's that is difficult to describe is the wonderful "atmosphere" of the restaurant. I really believe that the entire family works there. Plus, there's the usual yelling in the kitchen, servers bringing out food orders, regulars being greeted by first name, and people watching sports on TV as though they have money on it. But, I am getting off topic. I loved the atmosphere, and I felt welcome. Very casual, come as you are. If there is any short coming, I was disappointed to learn that there is only one beer on tap...Budweiser. If you're a Bud fan, great. I prefer Miller, and just really prefer it out of a keg. They do provide ice-cold mugs to our your beer into which helps. Anyway, if you have not tried Angelo's, stop by sometime and experience it for yourself. read more

Went to Angela's with another couple on 11/6 because of recommendations from some friends. Well let me say we'll give them a second try but only for the pizza and seats at the bar which my friends neglected to tell me is what you need to do. The service was beyond bad. It was such a joke felt like we were on the twilight zone, though the server was too young to have ever seen the show. My GF and I ordered one of their signature dishes, Annie's Delight. It was tasty but the chicken was so dry that we left more than half the meal and didn't even want to take the leftovers home. We were told " if that's the way you want it" from the guy answering the phone and I replied yes, we had one before and it was delicious. Previous order was taken by a woman. No problem there but picked up this order last night and it had tomatoes on it. Not what we ordered. How hard is it to put 3 ingredients on a pizza? Sounds perry but the guy was a jerk on the phone. Angelo's is so well organized in terms of safety measures. There are separate entrances for takeout and dine-in. There are hand sanitizer dispensers both outside the restaurant as well as inside. This is my go-to place for pizza. They use the best, freshest ingredients & customer service is second to none. The pepperoni roll and calzones are also excellent! What a great little joint. A group of us went to Angelo's for food and cocktails. We were unexpectedly entertained by a fantastic jazz duo. The service was outstanding, the cocktails were amazing and the food was fresh, hot and tasty. The fried mozzarella was the real deal. No frozen mozzi sticks here. Wow. Has this place slipped with service! We used to come about once every week or two weeks. To be clear lunch during the week is still very good but AVOID on weekends or at night. Last 3 times going there the service was ridiculously slow (it wasn't busy), we had to ask to order each time, beg for our rolls...and on and on. Our waitress this most recent time checked on us once after we finished. The female owner was there and never checked on us and only talked to friends who came in.
