Noooooo. I don't know where the great reviews came from. Maybe we were here on an off night? First time visitors, never to return. Lots of Chicago memorabilia here, but nothing about this pizza said Chicago. The deep dish we ordered tasted like a frozen thick crust and was ready in 10 minutes-served already cold. We also ordered a thin and crispy, which was neither thin, nor crispy. Our waiter was nice enough, but when we said we didn't want anything wrapped and had a pizza and a half left, nobody even asked if everything was ok. Really? Who doesn't bring pizza home??? No manager ever came by to ask if they could do anything or why we didn't enjoy the food. Poor management! If you don't care about me and my experience at your restaurant, I certainly don't care about spending my money on your soggy pizza again. As a vegan I love this place. The salad pizza is amazing and it is so good. It is a great place to go because there is options for me and family/friends. The in house vinaigrette that the pizza comes with is amazing and makes the pizza taste so good. My wife usually shares this pizza and gets a chicken Caesar salad in a bread bowl. I was at the pet store next door and seeing this little Italian place in the same strip mall gave me an instant craving for pizza! We ordered a thin crust pizza with mushrooms and green peppers. It took about 25 to 30 minutes to get the pizza, which seemed long for a thin crust and considering there were only a few other patrons at the time. The pizza was decent, truly thin and non greasy, as real pizza ought to be, but in terms of taste nothing to rave about. The waitress seemed constantly rushed and never brought any refills. The inside of the restaurant is dated and a little depressing. I suppose this place is a-ok if you live in the neighborhood but not worth a special trip for it. read more

My husband and I love their pizza! Nice crispy crust taste so yummy! They make the freshest salad out there and their homemade dressing is outstanding! I would love the recipe! Done for at least a year with this place. Used to put up with the poor customer service when calling in for delivery because the food was worth it. The ladies answering the phones to take orders sound like they have better things to do than take orders. However this last experience included both bad phone service again and burnt pasta sauce. If you haven't tried burnt sauce lately give them a call. The taste sticks with you for a day or so. read more

Place was very busy, so figured it was some good stuff. The Angelos Wings were outrageously delicious. The pizza DOES NOT look like the pictures. I guess you have to order mozzarella on the pizza. I dont mind paying the price they charge, but not for Dough, sauce and a sprinkle of cheese and pepperoni. To start I must say that we got take out so we did not have the full experience. I had the spinach and cheese calzone. When they say cheese, believe them; it has a lot of cheese. The crust was a little soggy for my liking probably caused by the abundance of cheese. The taste was good but a little overwhelming. One of the great things about the calzone is their size and how much filling they have. It was definitely worth the price paid. We also had the meat and cheese calzone. This calzone had a lot of meat and a more reasonable amount of cheese. Once again, the size and amount of filling was awesome. I would recommend this calzone over the spinach one any day. All in all, it was a good experience but nothing more. The workers were nice. The food came out fairly quickly, and they were generous with their portions. read more

Haven't tried their pizza but the location is centrally located near my house and children schools... So that's convenient!!! I had the B lackened Chicken Greek salad today, which was absolutely delicious. Chicken cooked perfectly .. blackened season on the chicken was amazing not too overbearing. Had two meals here tonight. First and last. First I refuse to be charged 4% extra for using a credit card. I won't support an owner trying to rip me off desperately trying to get people to pay cash for what was the most mediocre meal ever. The salad was lettuce with one tomato slice and one cucumber. Every pasta dish uses meat sauce even when inappropriate and it's not that good anyway. So sad. I have been a customer of Angelo's as long as they have been on Toney Penna in Jupiter, Florida, thirty years. I have ordered delivery for just as long. Never was I charged a percentage for using my credit card. Tonight I was told, using my credit card, will cost me a 4% use of credit card charge over and above the food and delivery fee, ( of course you still need to tip the driver) My bill would have been $17.54. But they need to add a .70 cent up charge to that fee, for using my credit card. Mike, the owner tells me "well you can pay cash. " Hmmmm.. He was willing to loose the $17 order over a .70 cent charge. If .70 is important to him, to loose a 30 year loyal customer, it's important to me. What happened to the cost of doing business? Not smart. I will never eat or order there again. I am a business owner, the cost of doing business, is a credit card fee. He said he has been doing this for more than one year, yet tonight was the first I am hearing of his change of policy. Guess I'm stuck on principle. Food? Used to be a lot better. Today it's "ok". There are many places in town for better Italian.It was just convenient for me. read more

We tried eating here and ordered pizza 3 different times. Each time something went wrong the 1st time our pizza was burnt to a crisp, the 2nd time it was so cold and undercooked, the third time the toppings all slid off and mushed together. My issue isn't with the pizza it's with managers response to the issues which was nothing. He acted like he's been in business so u long and I did know what a burnt pizza is! I read about Angelo's here on Yelp and decided to try it out. I'm glad I did! Fortunately, I live close enough to walk there, so I'm a regular now. I almost always order pizza. I've recently switched my allegiance from regular crust to the deep dish sicillian. I'm not sure exactly why, perhaps it's that if I'm going to spoil my diet with pizza...go big, or go home! I've also popped in for lunch a time to two, and they have some good lunch deals like small pasta dishes and slices. I can recommend the garlic knots (rolls). Yummy, but beware of the oil. This is not diet food! :) The roquefort salad is one of my favorites. The dressing is delicious (I think made in house), and there's never a shortage of roquefort crumbles. As for the dine-in experience, the decor is little uninspired, but who needs decor when the pizza's good! The service can be a bit spotty, but is generally good. It's pretty much HS kids who run the front of the house, so they sometimes seem a little less organized than one would hope. Overall, I like it, and will continue to go there. It's a treat to find a local independent pizza shop with a real neighborhood feel. Don't let its strip mall location near the railroad track dissuade you, Angelo's customers are loyal. read more

Online menu prices lower than the actual restaurant menu prices. Example $2.00 drafts online actual price $3.50. Daughter (strict vegetarian) ordered ravioli with marinara sauce was served meat sauce...when we notified them about it an showed them the chunks of meat in the sauce the owner came over and argued with us and said it didn't happen. Total lie and no apology. Very poor customer service and will not ever go there again. Food was marginal at best.....others in the party were not pleased either and expressed concern both about the slow service and poor food quality. They also charge a credit card fee of 4% if you don't use cash.... I bet the IRS would have a field day with this place. read more

Although I've been a patron for over a decade, I've never actually sat down and eaten in the restaurant but I can tell you their take-out is great. When you have a craving for the Michelangelo it's worth the drive to call ahead and have your dinner ready when you get there which includes a salad and garlic rolls. Not only did they pull through with flying colors but the quality of food surpassed my expectations by ten folds. We ordered (the day of) a sheet of meat lasagna, 4 dozen garlic knots, and two large pies. The lasagna was nearly as good as my mother's ;) (it was amazing) and the knots were perfectly baked and fresh! The pies were excellent- but we already knew they would be.
