I came to this shopping center to purchase an item from someone. As I waited I noticed Angelo's pizza and got in the mood for a crispy, cheesey slice. I ordered one slice with thoughts that if it was great I'd order a large pie. When I got the slice to go I opened the box and the slice looked perfectly cooked. I added oregano and black pepper and should've added salt. The crust was firm but pizza lacked flavor. The dough needed more yeast to create that thicker edge. It either wasn't proofed long enough or the yeast used was expired. The place had an older couple dinning and another table was filled with half eaten dishes. lol evidently food wasn't good enough to take home. While I waited about 10-14 minutes for my slice, the table was cleaned up. This shop is located in the Manchester Giant shopping center. It's easy to find and there's ample parking. Needless to say, I didn't order a large pie to take home. read more

Paid a little over $17 for a large pepperoni pizza. Was an hour late, cold, burnt on bottom of pizza and crust, pepperoni was dark around edges. I called & they offered free pizza w/pepperoni. When I call to order my free pizza, I added extra cheese and said I would pay for the extra cheese, then I am told I will be charged a delivery fee of over $3. I explained I paid the delivery fee the last time, for a pizza that was over a hour late and terrible, why should I need to pay again? Then she says I need to pay at least $10.00 minimum. I did get very upset about this. Why should I have to pay another delivery fee when I paid for the last delivery fee and the pizza was very unacceptable. Plus somthing for an additional $6.00 I had to buy somthing to equal $10 or more to get pizza delivered. The girl Rey who was handling my order was saying words like sweet and being sarcastic not in anyway, helpful. Her name is Rey, if she told her proper name. My point is When you Pay over $17.00 for the pizza, delivery fee and a Tip. Now, because my pizza was on editable I need to spend $10 to get the free pizza. Then to deal with an employee who made an a_ _ of me. The pizza delivered was much faster. The presentation looked good except for extra grease laying in the middle. Thru this experience I was more angry with Rey, who.did not appreciate me as a customer. I told her in the past the pizza was great and its become terrible. Pizza not good. Had a cheesesteak and it was mostly fat and gristle. I heard the owner pays the employees under the table and then doesn't pay out the tips the staff get from customers- whether it's on a card or in cash. Because of that and the bad food we won't go there anymore. read more

Never again. Been here a few times one time it's great next time it's horrible. Pizza is so inconsistent. One time it's burnt to a crisp on the bottom. Next time it's pure dough making it difficult to distinguish the cheese from the dough. Last time we ordered we got a raw pizza delivered with a few subs. The subs were good but as mentioned pizza was very raw. Called back to inform them and I was made to feel as if I was in the wrong for informing them. Was offered another pizza to be delivered but I turned it down vowing to never return again. I had given them plenty of chances in past..... they are very consistent on their inconsistency. Update 4/18/18 it's been over a year now and we have not returned to this horrible place and don't even miss it. Tonight I called in at 7:09pm to place a order for 1 medium pizza and fries. Typically, it takes aroubd an hour for delivery and we put up with it because we love the pizza. Tonight, it took an hour and a half to get the pizza and when it got here it was cold. I turned on the oven to heat my husband up a slice but then we threw it in the fridge. When I called to simply say that I would appreciate the heads up next time, I was told by the supervisor "well, you live outside of our normal delivery area so..." What?! You guys dropped us off a menu at our house to gain business and we order from you atleast 3 times a month. Super disappointed. I put up with the longer delivery since we do live just under 15 minutes away, but this was just a crappy experience. Pizza places are a dime a dozen, we will find another. read more

Nothing special here. Pizza wasn't bad when they opened, now the pizza is runny and lacking sauce. It doesn't look like much time was put into assembling the pizza. Mushrooms were tossed on part of the pizza and two slices didn't even have mushrooms. We also ordered a side of fried mushrooms and got way less than other times. Lots of lack in consistency from each visit. I don't think we will be back. On to the next pizza shop. read more

Not that great. Food is just okay. Antipasto salad is 90% lettuce. Fries are the worst. The fries are chewy and no flavor. Subways subs are better and McDonald's fries are better. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I hated the pizza it was like getting a cruddy 5 dollar little Caesars but more expensive..the subs were okay SOMETIMES.. The rolls would get stuck to the container and tear apart with hot subs but Horrible service for delivery... It had taken 2 hours and I had called 1hr 20min of waiting to be told it was out already on delivery (we are less than 3 miles away)...30 min later I called back to cancel and they still charged me the delivery fee but refunded the food and didn't offer to make up for it or even give it to us for free for waiting 2 hours.. What ever happened to trying to make it up to the customer when they had a bad experience that was the companies fault? ..Very disappointing read more

This may be the worst pizza shop in York county. We walked in and it was like a fast food restaurant without the fast. We had to get our own silverware and napkins. Then we ordered at the register and were given a cup to pour our drinks. We then sat down and waited for 40 mins. They didn't bring the food to the table I had to go up and get it. The food was bad. My wife got a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was a big puddle of melted cheese and soggy bread. My Stromboli was burnt to a crisp and crumbling apart on top. The bottom of the boli was soggy and the insides were falling out. When we complained the girl at the register said they didn't refund. Then the girl at the register had the nerve to adjust the tip container like I should tip her for not doing anything. Manchester as a whole is poor for pizza go somewhere else. read more

Ordered a pizza and fries for delivery at 7:35 Monday night. Took an hour and 15 minutes to be delivered. Food was not in a bag to keep food warm. Delivery driver went to wrong house, and was not rude, but didn't seem very happy to have a job. Won't order from them again. read more

Good pizza..homemade crust and rolls, had a crabcake sandwich that was very tasty, not all bread like some.

Thought I'd give this place another try, so I ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions, cheese and sauce. What I received should be renamed "cheesesteak boat" because it was packaged in a styrofoam container as an open-faced sandwich swimming in sauce - nothing Philly about that! I will say that the steak was ok (hence the 2 stars), but this place advertises homemade rolls and I'd bet my last dollar that mine was not homemade. Shouldn't have ordered the sauce - it's runny and made the sandwich so wet you had to eat it with a knife and fork. There won't be a third visit to this place. read more

I am very hesitant to write anything negative about a person's place of business, as this is their livelihood. I went in there around noon on 11/23 - and to be fair: 1) It was a lunch rush 2) They had a help wanted sign on their door 3) I've only ever eaten there this one time, so I don't know if this is a bad experience or the norm. The order: I ordered the lunch special which was a slice, soda, and fries. I ordered an extra slice as well. I gave my name, and tried to find a seat. It was busy!! OK...a place like this is really busy, must be good! I started by getting my diet coke, which was either flat or something was screwed up with the machine. The soda was pretty raunch - and I didn't bother complaining because of the sheer accomplishment it would have been to get back up to the front with how clogged it was. Next, about 15 minutes later, I got my fries. These are about the most generic shoe string fries you can imagine. Dosed with a decent amount of salt, they weren't the best fries I ever had. On the plus side, seemed like clean oil. Then...another 15 minutes later, out comes the pizza. I figured it would be fresh out of the over for a 30 minute delay. Well, it looked/tasted like it was under a heat lamp for 2 hours. Even if it was fresh, I could tell it wouldn't be anywhere near my top 20 in York. Or 50. Overall, it was pretty inexpensive food with what seemed to be the cheapest ingredients allowed by law. Some possible suggestions: 1) Fix the soda. This is a no-brainer that someone will probably complain about within the next 24 hours. 2) Change up the fries. These were really thin shoestrings. Crinkle cut or even a steak fry is more common I've seen in these types of establishments. 3) Pizza - not sure why my pizza would taste like it was under a heat lamp for hours at 12:30 during a rush. It was weird, like the cheese had solidified, but was kept lukewarm...for a 30 min delay. Even with that, the cheese quality seemed poor. Sauce was decent, and the crust was not your usual pizza dough. 4) Clutter - it was almost impossible for me to get out of your store due to the isles being so tight. At the one table, if you sit with your back to the counter, it's hard for anyone to get to the soda machine. You might want to ditch the long booths and replace with tables, give some adequate space around the soda machine, and you might actually get more efficient seating. Not everyone needs a 4 person table. Store seemed clean, I picked up a menu on my way out to review which was well done. I'm a huge cheesesteak fan, so maybe some other time when I go to Giant I'll stop in here and try one. Best wishes... read more

Good pizza here. Quality cheese and sauce. The crust was underdone so ask for it extra hot so it gets a bit more crispy.

I ordered delivery on Friday night and it was awesome. The customer service on the phone and the individual that delivered the meal was great. I highly recommend d this place to anyone in the manchester area. I realize that there are a number of different pizza places to choose from but Angelo's by far exceeds them. read more

Co-worker and I stopped in between shifts at work. I had a Chef Salad.. Pretty hard to mess up, or so I thought. It comes out and the guy slides the tray across the table to me... oh, cool.. there's a chunk of cheese stuck to the bottom of the tray and now there's a giant cheesey skidmark on the table. It adds to the ambiance... I open the salad, which is packed to the brim, so there's no way to mix the dressing in without it erupting all over the table. There was only a small cup of dressing, which wasn't nearly enough for such a huge salad. I asked for another small cup, which was absolutely necessary... costing me an extra fifty cents. Nice. Salad was equipped with random shapes of too much cheese, nearly a full head of lettuce, which no one bothered to separate, and what I've deemed as "ham noodles", which were too big for a normal fork. The ice was the best part of my meal. Seriously, those little tiny ice balls were pretty sweet. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a pizza over the phone, paid over the phone and was told 10 to 15 minutes to pick up. I got there 15 minutes later... Watched then bring out a pizza, take it back and hand out cheese slices to people thay came in after me. Then had to wait another 15 minutes for my pizza to be done. If its going to take you longer than the time frame you gave to the customer when they paid for the order than you either gave away their pizza or you cannot time manage your business.. The pepperoni rolls keep me coming back. Best I've ever had. Get 'em with a little onion added and it's Hawg Heaven! The dipping Marinara sauce is thick and tasty (also the best anywhere). We do our grocery shopping at Giant next door and then hit Angelo's for lunch. Gets a little busy around noon, so you may want to pick a different time. Owner and staff are super friendly. Came here for my wife's birthday dinner. We went to a nice restaurant for lunch, don't worry I'm not that cheap. We had the NY style pizza, cheese fry's and mozzarella sticks. All good. The cheese fry's came with Canadian bacon not your average bacon that everyone loves. Food was hot good and came out fast. I recommend this place. Very clean and pretty nice staff. read more

Stuffed pizza really sucked! Was so disappointed. Good crust, and inside was loaded with goodies; but enough of it had been frozen that it was saturated in liquid. Waitress could hardly carry pan without liquid running off the pan. A soggy crust is really unappetizing! We brought the leftovers home, but threw it out the next day. What a waste! Their subs are very generously stuffed. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have made a few minor mistakes, and always corrected them quickly and easily. My wife and I ordered a cheeseburger sub, cheese pizza and jalapeno poppers. They told us it would be 15 minutes. I live 6 minutes away. I left the house right away, stopped at the Giant next door, and picked up my food. I was astonished that the bill was $26 for those 3 things, considering a cheese pizza is only $10.75 and the sub was $6.95...must be expensive jalepeno poppers. I wouldn't know because they don't give you an itemized receipt, and you have to ask for a receipt as I've been burned in the past. The only reason we keep going back is because I really like the pizza. NO MORE! Anyway, my wife opened the cheeseburger sub and it was cold and soggy. We comtemplated on whether or not to call, and finally did. I got the manager on the line...the guy was a jerk from the beginning. I told him our situation and he said "hey buddy I don't know what you want me to do." Seriously, I just paid $26 to a mom and pop pizza shop for a pizza, a sub and poppers and you don't know what you can do for me? I was furious. I had to tell him what I wanted him to do, which was give me a free sub the next time I go there....which he finally agreed to do. Amazing! I've never had this problem at a restaurant. He should have been more than willing to replace the sub...hell, he should have drove a new sub to my house since I'm only a few miles away. Nope. I never write reviews but tonight's experience with Angelos deserves a review. We ordered 3 items for delivery.... a small fry, a sandwich and a manicotti. We were not quoted a time just we will get it to you as soon as possible. Over an hour later my husband calls to see where it is. He is told it's on it's way. We live less than 10 minutes away. Over 25 minutes later my husband calls again and asks to speak to a manager. He told him it has been over an hour and a half and what is going on. Magically the manager said we should have been quoted an hour and a half! For 3 flipping items! If we had been quoted that we would have canceled it! He said once again it was on its way and to call back if he's not there in 10 minutes. I was just about to hit the send button on the call since it had been 10 minutes when the driver showed up! He had plenty of excuses of course but that is ridiculous. Over an hour and 40 minutes for delivery on a small fry, sandwich and manicotti!!! He didn't even offer to take anything off the bill or apologize! Just that we should have been quoted an hour and a half! I will NOT be ordering from them anytime soon!!! read more
