I have never been inside so I can't give 5/5, but it's by far the best pizza I have had in Pennsylvania. I'm a life long New Yorker who moved to Central PA. It's been four years of wack "New York style" pizzas. I saw the reviews and ordered from here. We were all ready to cry when we opened the box. The pizzas smelled great, were cheesy hot and delicious. The sauce and the cheese do not taste cheap like some other places, it tastes like love. I have no pictures because after the first bite we all inhaled pie after pie. The extra cheese pizza is a proper extra cheese. This place is a treasure. Hands down the best sub rolls around. I use to work in the bank across the street and I probably got lunch from here at least twice a week the whole time I worked there. My friend and I stopped in for lunch and there were many lunch specials on a blackboard. But it's a pizza place so we got pizza! We both asked to add mushrooms to our slices. Fresh mushrooms and plentiful- all over our slices! On the not so good side, I thought the crust was too thin and that there wasn't enough sauce. On the plus side, I asked for a little red sauce which they happily provided and there was enough for the two of us to make our pizza just right. There was plenty of good tasting mozzarella too. There are shakers of garlic, oregano and red pepper flakes available. There is a dining room for dinner and on the other side there is a counter and lunch area where we sat. We want to love Mamma's and mostly do. The food is consistently great - lunch specials, dinner at the restaurant, or take out. Last evening we had our last dine in experience where we are a small party and there is a large, happy, and then of course loud party seated in the dining room. We will sadly not be eating in if we walk into that situation again. Everyone has the right to their dining occasion. The restaurant is such that when there is a large, happy, loud party in the dining room there is so much noise echo that we can't talk to each other and last night it actually gave me a headache. We have traveled through Italy numerous times and Mamma's Pizza absolutely brought back memories of eating out in Calabrian towns. We have been going to Mamma's for over 25 years. This a great family-owned small business right off I-83 in Loganville. We enjoy their specialty pizzas and stromboli. Their enlarged restaurant is huge compared to the little pizza it place it was back in the 90's. I like the stuffed shells and manicotti. The bread is all home made daily. So, the food here is very good. The bread for their subs and hot sandwiches (I had the Chick-o-Philly sandwich) is fantastic. The sandwiches and the pizza are very good also. My wife had the spaghetti with meat sauce and she always loves it. So, why the 3 rating? Well sorry to say the service wasn't good. It took us over an hour to get served. I will come back and hope that the kitchen cooks get faster and they train the servers better. Now they could have been short staffed and you never know. But the food is very good! So overall, I gave a 3. Update: So a quick update, the good news is the Manager came out and acknowledged the issue and gave everyone in the group (it was a group of 11, 10% off the bill). My fiancé, well she just thinks deep dishes are pies (she's correct, a beautiful saucy, cheesy pie) , so we ordered a thin crust We ordered a standard medium meat lovers pizza, I would consider it to be 6 medium-to-large slices, absolutely delicious. The crust was cooked perfect, a little soft towards the middle, but nice and crunchy on the outside. The meat, tasty and not over-cooked, especially the sausage, lip smacking good. Not overly saucy, just the right amount for a thin pizza, with a great amount of cheese. The service, great, the kid was probably in high school or slightly older, attentive, nice and got our order MOVIN' baby. I think it was done in 10-15 minutes tops, I lost track because it's BYOB, so we ran to Rutter's to get some alcohol. 10/10 would dine here again and don't be stingy, tip your service industry workers. read more

We've ordered the tiramisu and it was quite good. We also like the kids menu, as sometimes my daughter does not want pizza. She likes to order meatballs from here. Pretty good pizza! We (2 adults) had the all meat as a medium pizza and could not finish; the slices are huge!! Had the wings with old bay for an appetizer and they were pretty good. I am not sure why this location is only a 3 star. The service was great and attentive. We were seated right away, waited on within a decent time, got our drinks, appetizer and pizza all within a good amount of time. The pizza was very good for being right up the street for us. Uses pure mozzarella and not a 3 cheese combination as some other pizza places do. They also have a variety of subs Italian dishes, Pepsi products, and a dessert menu, but we did not have room for dessert. It was a great Sunday dinner out. Will likely be back. I ordered the stuffed shells dinner for 11.99 recently. When I got it home there were 3 small shells in a large container with a lot of sauce. I thought it was a mistake so I called and asked how many are included in the dinner. They said 3. It came with a small salad and bread but even so for the price I thought there should be at least 5 or 6. There is no meat in them so why so expensive? The sauce had no flavor and was very bland. ISo today on March 13th at 3:00 pm I went to Mamma's Pizza for some pizza obviously. I just recently moved to Loganville so for my first visit it sucked. I waited about 20 minutes before I was seated and the staff was short. I finally got seated and it took about another 15 minutes for a waitress to attend me. I then ordered a medium cheese pizza and a sub, I watched the waitress talk to other workers and not put my order in yet because it was in her hand!!! About after 30 minutes the waitress came out with the pizza and I asked where my sub was and she then told me that the cook messed it up and it would be right out. After I had already ate as much pizza I could my sub came out 15 minutes later by this time im just angry. She didn't even seem to care and the place was just empty I wonder why. The sub was sloppy and the mayonnaise was all over the place. I decided to eat half and try it and the meat looked RAW!!! I just paid my order and left which the balance was $30.25 which isn't too bad but the food wasn't so good for that much money. I don't think I would ever eat there again especially if the staff is not serious. read more

"Never again " after waiting 30 mins the waitress came out and brought the pizzaand said" the cook forgot rest of the order , that it will take another 15 minutes.well any orders were still messed up. After complaining to the waitress she said there's nothing she can do about it. Oh by the way the pizza was burnt. After hearing from a few people that this place had good pizza it was time to pack the little judges up and try it. After two small boli's, a personal cheese pizza and a large white pizza with tomato's and spinach the results are in. We love it! We also had two apps.
