Angelos has been a staple pizza joint in my family for 30+ years. Never had a bad pizza, and they still have their own delivery drivers! Always wonderful service and you know it's legit when you come into the restaurant and it smells like grandma's been cooking sauce for days. You can't make this stuff up! Placed an order at 6:30...Large pizza and large pizza fries. An hour and 15 minutes later the delivery driver shows up with half my order! Asked where the pizza fries were and he said he would go and get them and be right back ( they are less than 10 minutes away from my house) 15 minutes later I call and was told that the pizza was being made, I said no, I didn't get the pizza fries! He says oh yeah... it will be right out! 10 minutes, I call and the place is Closed!!!! 15 minutes later the driver shows up with another pizza!!!!! Don't order the chicken alfredo, I just did and don't believe I counted more than 3 very small pieces of chicken in this $15 meal.

My server was very sweet, I got charged 11 dollars for 3 pops which I didn't know was going to be that much, I came here with my kids on a budget just wanting to have a good time I looked at reviews and menu and everything seemed priced well and food options looked good and like I said from reviews I was led to believe that food was good and authentic it was horrible and I don't leave reviews for one but leaving I didn't even bring my left overs I leave a picture of the food. I was on a budget and wanted my kids to eat good and I was left hungry my sons eat really good they didn't touch much of anything my oldest wouldn't even eat the spaghetti I got charged 50 dollars for a 8 dollar meal and I say that because the Alfredo sauce it came straight from the can, spaghetti sauce STRAIGHT FROM THE CAN! I have never left more disappointed than I am today !!! Very sad about it for sure read more

This is by far one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the West Saint Paul area. The food is amazing, service is fantastic and their pasta takes it to another level. Pizza is okay; my recommendation is to stick with a pasta dish. read more

Comfortable restaurant in a strip mall. Mostly booths, which we prefer. Early lunch so service was quite fast. Menu has pizzas and traditional Italian dishes like ravioli and spaghetti. Well seasoned food with reasonable prices. We split a pasta entre (perfect for two with modest appetites), which allowed room for delicious white cake with chocolate filling. I Love Angelo's! I have been having delivery for ages. Tonight was not a good experience though, maybe they were just more busy than they were able to handle? Pizza delivery took exactly 1 1/2 hours, I have never in all the years had a delivery from them later than 1/2 hour, I am only 5 minutes away. Pizza crust was cold and soggy, so maybe it had been out for delivery for very long time? Also salad was very, very warm including the dressing, not appetizing. Both pizza and salad had all the earmarks of being just totally top notch, as has always been. I just hope 22 June 2024 was an off day for them. read more

Angelo's had been a family favorite for decades! We eat in and we use their takeout. The Pizza is the best around; their dinners and lunch specials are delicious. Generous servings with homemade bread and the freshest salads! The folks working there are so friendly and accommodating! We have had family and other group banquets. My SSP friends were constantly haranguing me to try this place after my office relocated to their town. I can be a tough customer when it comes to pizza, but Angelo's produces a big, fresh veggie and meat covered, cheese-laden pizza. The meatball subs are big enough to feed two, even in the worst hangry state I couldn't finish one by myself. My only...I wouldn't call it a complaint exactly...is about the Italian Fries. I ordered them and was given cheesy garlic bread. It was precut in strips (fries?) so maybe that's the Italian fries? Tasty to be sure, but too much of a good thing after overdosing on cheese pizza. This is a cute little Italian Restaurant owned by a family. They've been around for quite some time so when you walk in its no surprise that there are regular sitting down taking advantage of one of the specials they have including all you can eat spaghetti one night and discounts for others. They are in a small strip mall with the parking right in the front no trouble finding any. When you walk into the place its seat your self and they have tables down the middle and booths on the sides. The pizza is the main attraction at this joint they make it fresh to order so while your tummy is growling its well worth the wait because the cheese is loaded on top, its nice and hot, and the crust is thin and crispy just the way it should be. The service was extremely nice and on top of things. check it out if your in the neighborhood or in the mood for some Italian cooking or pizza. read more

Went to Angelo's with my family and some relatives. I am not a very picky person nor very price concerned when eating out under $100. We had a combined variety of the pastas, pizza and bread. The quality of pasta we had was comparable to my Lean Cuisine I had a work, meatballs were premade frozen junk, the sauce nothing special. The Garlic bread was hastily made and wasn't worth even bringing out sadly. The other families pizza was average and had generous toppings but left much to be desired. Overall I would not recommend visiting if you are looking for something fresh and tasteful. My mother had eaten here a couple years back and said it was MUCH better back in the day (and shes incredibly picky). Perhaps some bad staff or change of food vendor/recipes ruined this place. read more

My siblings and I are pretty picky when it comes out our pizzas and this is by far one of the best I've ever had (Red's Savoy being the first). Not only is the pizzas good, but also the service. I went here with my brother -in-law. We went with the house special. I wasn't expecting too much for a strip mall location. When the pizza arrived at our table I started thinking this could be a good pizza. Then when I to put a some on my plate and the cheese had major stringing I was thinking this is good cheese. The toppings were plentiful, the sauce tasty, the crust crisp and thin like I love it. Oh that cheese! The price was right in the norm for a quality pizza. I will go back to this place. It's now in my top 5 in this state. If the sauce had the bite of my favorite place I may have gave Angelo's my top spot. read more

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. Accommodating, too! Even to 10 month old toddlers with spaghetti faces. This restaurant accommodated our entire family of 50 the day after Thanksgiving - one of our family members told them 18, yeah... it turned out to be a lot more than that. As a bunch of us crowded into the back banquet room, the owner/manager stopped in and asked us to bear with them as they were short staffed and wasn't expecting so many people. We had a great time - they kept the food coming and we were all served within 30 minutes. The servers managed to handle 14 small tables in a crowded area with little kids running around. The spaghetti sauce was amazing. Loved every bite. This is the best Italian food I've had in a long time. read more

Menu online is incorrect, there was a 7 dollar difference which didn't start this experience great. Pizza is ok. Red savoy is wayyyy better as well as Carbones. Honestly the only reason it must be busy is they serve a small part of south St. Paul in a valley. Had the house special which was pretty burnt and chicken Alfredo which was ok. All in all an ok experience. As a pizza person I was disappointed this was my cheat meal for the week. Really should be 2 stars but 3 because it's a local small business. read more

the pizza fries are the best things i've ever put in my mouth. i only get in once a year cause i live halfway across the country, but i always look forward to overeating here. if you want to taste the closest things to heaven on earth, order the large italian fries. through backlash, my mom ordered the cheeseburger pizza instead of pizza fries but i had a bite of it and it was almost as good. i'm proud of her for taking initiative and ordering someone different, it paid off. come here whenever you can. you're welcome read more
