Very clean environment. Some drink selections. It is connect to Kowalski's. It's good to get grocery and grab something to eat. Pizza is good. You can do take out as well

2 slices of onion! A crappy little crust? Okay...

If you're looking to wait 40 min for a lean cuisine pizza, look no further. They also don't have arugula anymore?! Punch pizza is a mile away. 100000% better than what pezzo is now.

This is a cool place connected to the Kowalski's in Woodbury with a bar and tv, a lot of seating and a cool outdoor patio area. I have to say the service we received was great, especially how the server and manage went out of their way to introduce some new drinks that are coming next week. I asked for an N/A beer and our server told us that they have mocktails coming and brought me the new menu. I had a Berry Splash and it was super good. I also tried the N/A beer and it was better than most I have tried. We decided that when in Rome, we should get a deep dish pizza. We decided on The Wrigley and had tomato sauce, pepperoni and Italian sausage. It wasn't the best deep dish I have ever had, but was very filling and I thought the crust was baked perfect. Our server warned us it would take 45 minutes and actually only took about 35. There is a bar when you first walk in and has 1 tv for sports, etc.

We got the pera pizza and a shared appetizer of meatballs and a side salad. The meatballs were delicious but average. The pizza was really great and I would come back here again for it. The walnuts were crunchy and the balsamic added a good layer of flavor. They said 10 minute wait but the wait was a bit longer than that, and then we waited more for our food, so it's took maybe around 40 minutes from entering before we started eating. I wasn't too sure why they had a wait even though the restaurant was only around half full and the other tables never really got filled later in the night. Generally the place has the vibe of an elegant sports bar, in the sense that there are TVs playing in the background but the space is well-lit, clean, and located within a bougie grocery store.

I really wanted to love it here but the pizza fell short for me. I think it was under done maybe because the deep dish tasted doughy. We enjoyed our drinks and found this spot thanks to a killer Groupon. Shout out to the staff. Absolutely top notch. I think I'll give their thin pizza a shot next time.

Welcome to Woodbury Pizzeria Pezzo we are so happy you are here!!!! We used to make that haul to the White Bear Lake location. It was well worth it but, now we're neighbors. Valentines dinner tonight was a romantic deep dish pizza by candlelight at home. Pizzeria Pezzo has THE BEST deep dish pizza in the twin cities! The crust has a buttery, yummy texture...flashbacks to Chicago deep dish from Gino's East! The sauce and sausage are FRESH and good. The staff was warm and welcoming when my husband placed and picked up our order. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food rating 1/3: Food had a nice presentation. The flavor on the other hand was on the saltier side with more coal soot than I would like under the crust of my pizza. Was informed by server that the arugula topped style and other menu items shown here in photos are no longer offered tells me that this place pre-pandemic. Still good enough to eat but would not come back for standard pizzas. Perhaps the deep dish is the right way to go? The Italian Stuffed Mushrooms were better than the pizzas. Atmosphere and decor rating 1/1: Place looked nice with tall booths and high tops for seating. Although connected to a grocery store, it was still quite pleasant to dine at. Tables and seats were clean. There is outdoor seating as well. Service score 1/1: Service staff was knowledgeable and drinks were topped off. Other staff that dropped off food and beverages were also attentive, even though they weren't our assigned server. Everyone was well dressed. Final thoughts: Might comeback to try the deep dish, but will likely wait at least a year for the restaurant to bring back pre-pandemic menu options. For now, I would rather go to other coal or wood fire oven locations around town for the regular crust pizzas.

Was with some pickier eaters on this trip so had to go with basic thin crust build your own. Would love to go back and venture out on some of the more daring menu items as the crust did had a really nice coal oven char. Wish it was a little crispier but that could have been from being in the pizza box too long during carry out.

Great deep dish pizza! We enjoy The Wrigley as our deep dish of choice and we split a salad to go with it.

This restaurant really knows how to restaurant!…read more When I came and said I had wanted to order the turkey bacon avocado club, they made it so freaking fast! Then, when I tried by club, it was so good!!! To make it even better, I had the chocolate covered strawberries, it just made my meal even better! The only thing that stops me from rating this fantastic restaurant is that the enterior lacked decoration. In conclusion, I wish this business stays until the day I die. When you're looking for a well restaurant, GO HERE!!!!

I haven't placed a review in a while because I have been doing lots of deliveries, and I hate…read morereviewing them, but this one is a must. I just received my order and opened the packaging. We ordered a brisket sandwich, and it was just as others said - there was more bread than meat. It was a tiny ciabatta with a small amount of brisket it was the saddest sandwich I have ever seen. The box the sandwich came in was about 70% larger than the sandwich. I was too mad to take out the camera. But I got a chocolate-covered strawberry most likely to calm my rage from seeing such a tiny sandwich. On a good note, the microscopic pieces of brisket were tender and good, that's the only reason for the 1 star. Then I opened my lobster bisque. I am not sure who the people are eating lobster bisque these days, but this bisque was salty and did not have that homemade taste. It was not creamy at all, and the Lunds bisque is 100x better if you don't believe me, try it. They even skimped on the veggies in it. It was tomatoes and salt, and well, some bad quality frozen lobster. Then I got the wild rice blend on the side. Like some mentioned, it's literally a spoonful. The rice was tasteless with no seasoning whatsoever and it measured exactly 1 tablespoon. The roll was not that great it was bland. On a positive note, my girlfriend ordered a salad, and the salad was actually very good, and the size was a good size and had lots of flavors. I have nothing negative to say about that everything was right including the lettuce and greens looking fresh. I am not sure how this place got such a high rating unless it's all salad orders. I did notice on other platforms it's almost 4.5+, their taste buds must be missing, or people must not know what good food is anymore. I rarely leave 1 star reviews but had to on this one.
