Ordered 3 separate times from here. First time was pick up, good pepperoni pizza. Second time was delivery- decent pepperoni pizza, but it was late. This last time ordered delivery thru Grubhub- ended up calling because the pizzas were 45 minutes late. Cashier said the order had never been confirmed and they could put the order in then but it would be another 60-90 minutes. We were lost and got a room in a questionable part of town. It was getting late, kids were getting hungry and tired. We called a place that delivered but had a 3 hour delivery wait time! We looked up another place that delivered to our semi- janky hotel and came across this place. I am so glad we did!! This pizza has like 6 pounds of the best cheese I've ever tasted. Like, for real, when I grabbed a piece, I had cheese strung out over two feet long. Crust was on point- not soggy but not too crunchy! The SAUCE, guys. It's so good. Stopped in based on reviews and location suggested by yelp, and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. We ordered a "famous" stuffed pizza with pepperoni and while the wait was the typical 45 minutes or so the pizza was worth it. A perfectly golden, crispy crust, and a savory sauce to top it off! This place loses a star just because the environment isn't extremely dine-in friendly. The only beverages offered are bottle with a small selection of fountain drinks (not sure on free refills), and the guy who takes your order also makes your pizza. The delivery was on time if not earlier..I order a grilled chicken on gyro pretty good the meat and vegetables could of been cut smaller but otherwise no complaints..a cheeseburger with bacon seasoned good, juicy no complaints. I gave the pizza a try after passing by and hearing about it online. Ordered through the phone and arrived at the pickup time, but had to wait another 25 min when I got there. I got both thin crust and stuffed pizza. Both of the pizzas had dry crust and the stuffed was undercooked. This place can honestly give Giordanos a run for its money. Since I've moved to the area my usual place is on 55th but I may start to frequent this place Thanks to a Groupon. Even without the Groupon this place is super affordable, less than Giordanos and just as good a pizza. We ordered the breaded mushrooms which were ok. Nothing spectacular-- I've had better but definitely not bad. The Pizza was delicious! Yummy gooey cheese, the crust was the perfect thickness and the sauce was full of flavor. My boyfriend and I ate at Angelo's on a Tuesday evening. We got there around 7 and it was empty but it filled up pretty fast. We dined in and its a nice dining area if you want to dine in. We had a Groupon for a large stuffed pizza and an appetizer. The food was tasty. The presentation, not so much. The person behind the counter that took our order came off as rude, but I don't think she meant to be. She was probably just awkward and needs some work on her "people skills". The restaurant itself isn't much to look at, either. The paint on the wall is peeling, the windows looked dirty, the tables and chairs are all mismatched, and there was a mop bucket just hanging out by one of the tables, along with a framed painting resting against the wall on the floor. I finally went to this place because I was craving pasta. My son had fallen asleep in the car so we were going to order and take it to go. We ended up staying after all. When the waitress came to take our order I asked for a chicken Alfredo and she tells me they've been out of pasta for 2 days womp womp womp. I didn't even know what to order so I got a breaded chicken sandwich. My husband got a beef sandwich. I was so disappointed about the pasta that we asked for the foot to go. We waited for more than half an hour and I was starting to get antsy. We finally get our food and come home. Not to take away from the food though which was great. Used a groupon from them yesterday. I ordered a large stuffed pizza and the poppers. The pizza was AWFUL. The sauce they used was disgusting. The only thing worth eating was the poppers. The guy that took my order was rude on the phone and when I went to pick my pizza up, be took a good 5 minutes before he even acknowledged me. This is one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. I just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a good place. I had family over and a really big amount of family to feed. Where to begin... So we ordered the jalapeño poppers and 2 chicken Parmesan pasta. The jalapeño poppers never arrived and when I asked about them when we got our main course the waitress tells me that they'll be out in a bit. Then she comes back out and says that they're out of jalapeño poppers. Ok so when we got the chicken Parmesan it was a cheesy mess but we decided to look past that. I remove all of the cheese only to see watery marinara sauce with a small piece of chicken. At that point I had enough disappointments. We couldn't eat it and asked for the check after explaining to the waitress our discontent with the "food". They had the nerve to charge us for both dishes. Absolutely not!
