I always order on grub hub but today I order on my way home and decided to pop in instead and finally go inside. It was small by quiet. Their sauces is the best! I think I like their pizza is equal playing grounds as any "big" Chicago pizza chains. Best sauce in Chicago! It's my go to now! I recommend people to get the Zaburgers. They're delicious and this places is also BYOB, I was also really pleased with the service. I love pizza so I gave this place a try. I got a stuffed cheese and sausage and a thin crust cheese and sausage. The thin crust pizza was ok. The stuffed was not good unless you love oregano, because that's all you taste. With so many great pizza places around this is definitely not one of them. To top it off it was more expensive than my usual pizza spots that are absolutely delicious every time. Pass on this place for pizza. I always order from uber eats and they make sure my order is complete. Very unsatisfying when you order something and you get less than half of what you ordered. I hate to say the entire experience was a disappointment. We arrived at 8:30 pm on a Saturday to allow the dinner rush to clear out. Clearly there never was a dinner rush. The waitress was not friendly, she did not appreciate us being there at all. Although they have a dining area, it appeared to be a place for carry out only. We asked to order the Birria Pizza, she told us "it takes an hour to cook." I guess since it was 8:30 and they were closing at 11:30 she was hesitant to even let us order the pizza. She kept trying to deter us from ordering it. Finally we order, she's pissed and walks away. We then have to go stand at the counter to place the rest of the order, appetizers and drinks. She starts to mop and totally ignores us. The pizza comes in about 45 minutes, it's completely tasteless.... Not a horrible pizza but definitely not worth the wait attitude or the money. Also, the meat did not taste like goat, this tasted like a deep dish pizza with Italian beef. I really think this is pizza loved by the locals in the neighborhood. Saw these guys on Chicago's best and made a pot stop for lunch. Only had a slice of the thin crust but definitely interested in trying their deep dish pizza. Slice was a bit pricey for the size compared to slice factory but the quality is good. Sauce isn't too sweet like some Chicago pizza joints and the crust has that perfect balance of crispy and chewy. They also have mini deep dish pies which I think is very cool. Definitely recommend anyone in Archer heights that's craving pizza check it out. I've ordered here 4 times vía Uber Eats and walk-in. The experience has been great from a customer perspective. I've been given nothing but kindness from the staff throughout every interaction. The food comes hot and the quality is good. The restaurant always has some sport event playing, be it football or basketball. You can hear Latin music (think salsa) playing while you wait. On occasion they throw events like Hookah night or 79 cent wing Wednesday (not my cup of tea but definitely somebody else's). The only thing that stops me from giving this place 5 stars is a subpar experience with one pizza that had green peppers... the peppers were really rubber-like. I tried chewing through them but felt I was going to bite my tongue. Maybe they weren't cooked throughly or needed to be cut in thin slices, but I don't order that ingredient anymore. This place is a hidden gem!! The guy, who I believe is the owner, was the only person there when we visited and it was so refreshing to see food actually made with care. If I had to choose between having no stuffed pizza, and pizza from Angelo's, I'd choose Angelo's. Not exactly a high bar. I just didn't like it nearly as much as Chicago's Best led me to believe I would. When it comes to stuffed pizza, crust is key. And Angelo's crust is, in the words of Peter Griffin, "shallow and pedantic". I can't handle this much crust when it's as flavorless as they make if here. They need to butter that shit up or something. Incorporate some olive oil, and few grains or sea salt on dat ass. Real talk. Everything else was okay. I could have used a little more cheese and meat. The sauce is decent. Nowhere near on the same level as pie pimps like Art of Pizza, Lou Malnati's, Pat's, & Ricobene's. The wings and sausage thin crust was my top favs even though the wings came out pretty quick. The mozzarella sticks were ok sauce was a little cold, curly fries nothing outstanding. The stuffed pizza was ok the crust was good it wasn't too thick the sauce seemed a little sweet but still good. The pizzas were really cheesy which to myself and the kids was a plus! I will never order from them again they dont try to work with you but will argue they are 100% right because that's how they run their business. The pizza sause on the stuffed pizza was nasty it was like sour just like if they opened a can of tomato paste and sprinkled seasonings on top . They do not let you know when ordering that for a half ingredient they charge you for a full ingredient, also charge you for a cup of ranch when ordering wings but will ask you ranch or blue cheese because the owner says telling you that they charge $1.25 is to time consuming, and they dont tell you they charge for using your card. I haven't been there since high school and they did a lot of changes. It looks like they still need to finish some remodeling but I like the style they are going for. Poor customer service and undercooked pizza. got sick off of it and experienced food poisoning.

There's a reason why we tried the stuffed pizza and it was delicious! The cheese fries and wings (buffalo and fire) were also very yummy.

Angelo's has been great with delivery, generally showing up 30 minutes before the ETA that Grub Hub gives. (Which is typically 60-80 minutes.) I think only once out of the dozen or so times that I ordered from them was the pizza somewhat late. But 1 late order out of like 20 deliveries are odds I can deal with. Overall, the pizza is always delicious. Nice and cheesy, great crust, texture, and appetizers are usually very filling. Fries are tasty, but sometimes a bit soggy if you don't take them out of the bag fast enough. I enjoy Angelo's, and their stuffed crust is legit and some of the best I've tried in the Chicago area. Definitely a pizza place worth the time and money. read more
