Im the kind of guy that is able to fix things like this but hard to do from so far away. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic especially so far away. Not only was he able to come out and diagnose the problem the same day but he was able to order parts and repair it quickly. It was a tough starter change due to the location and having to remove the manifold ect. I know because ive done it once already and its a very complex repair. The parts cost more than anticipated due to the extra gaskets and coolant needed and he still honored the original quote. We gave him extra because of all the extra work he did. He topped off her break fluid, air in the tires, gave it a once over to make sure that it was tip top shape. Also gave my daughter an education on her car. Even took pictures of all the parts and video of it running smooth. As a father it puts me at ease knowing that I can call him in the future I wish I had mechanics like him closer to me. Initially I was a little put off by having to make an appointment but then when I looked at the appointment schedule they were very open to having the car in there. I waited probably about 35-40 minutes with the appointment. They did a great job on my Jeep. They reset everything after the oil change. Rotated the tires they gave me an idea on brake pad levels. The car didn't need anything else but the guys in were really nice. I actually had a friendly. Knowledgeable. they reset my Jeep from the oil change. I actually had an oil gauge I can read levels. another surprise I could see the off-road panel that I haven't seen since I bought the Jeep. and it shows me the underneath of the car anything related to the off-road components. tires will require an alignment. With run-flats, no spare, and living in North County, I dreaded coming back late at night after my trip to find every shop closed and my car stranded. I called him and he made it completely painless (didn't catch his name). I was already on the way back to my return flight in Chicago, he already went to the SAN airport parking lot, located my car from the space number I gave him, and he let me remotely unlock my car from Chicago. He removed the screw and plugged the tire on the spot. By the time I got through security in ORD, the repair had been done! What could have been a nightmare turned into a total non-event because of their responsiveness and flexibility. Highly recommend to anyone who needs help in a pinch.
