Im the kind of guy that is able to fix things like this but hard to do from so far away. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic especially so far away. Not only was he able to come out and diagnose the problem the same day but he was able to order parts and repair it quickly. It was a tough starter change due to the location and having to remove the manifold ect. I know because ive done it once already and its a very complex repair. The parts cost more than anticipated due to the extra gaskets and coolant needed and he still honored the original quote. We gave him extra because of all the extra work he did. He topped off her break fluid, air in the tires, gave it a once over to make sure that it was tip top shape. Also gave my daughter an education on her car. Even took pictures of all the parts and video of it running smooth. As a father it puts me at ease knowing that I can call him in the future I wish I had mechanics like him closer to me. My car is currently (31 years old) now. When I drove my car over to the Albertson's Grocery Store today in the evening time , I parked my car in the front parking lot. Then I locked my car door and I started walking towards the front door entrance to walk inside the Double Doors to the Albertsons Grocery Store today. The time that I spent grocery shopping inside this store was from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. I bought 14 items. When I walked back to my car in the parking lot and I opened up the trunk to put my 4 bags of groceries away , then I locked up the trunk of my car. Then I put my car key in the ignition switch and the pro-lock key too. I tried to start up my car 3 times but my car wouldn't start. Then I called the Triple AAA Roadside and Battery Services Phone Number is 1-(800) 400-4222. This number is open 24/7 days per week. I called the Office and Sandra answered my phone call. I explained to Sandra that my car wouldn't start up and I need a JUMP START on my car because my car battery went dead on me. Sandra said she's going to dispatch Shabib this Battery Roadside Assistance Guy to my location in the Lemon Grove Shopping Center. Sandra said the ETA will be at 6:20 PM today. The phone Number is 1-(800) 400-4222. I had to wait about 45 minutes later before Shabib drive over to me . The Triple AAA Company has a contract with this (3rd Party company). Shabib went outside his truck and so did I. I showed him my Drivers license and my Triple AAA Membership Card. Shabib said to open up my car's front hood . I flipped the front latch and I opened up the hood of my car. Then Shabib said he is going to use a Battery Meter to test the Levels on my car if it will go higher or lower. Then Shabib said to not turn off my car's engine. I told Shabib that my house is only 1.5 miles away from this Albertsons Grocery Store. Shabib said to me that to drive back to my house and then park my car into the garage and leave the Engine running for 30 minutes in order to get my car's Battery working properly again I told Shabib to look at the outside on the Car Battery will tell him what is the date I bought the Car Battery? The DATE on the outside of my Car's Battery said March 2023. That's Good News. Because the standard Car Battery will last for about 6 years. My car battery still has 3 more years to go. Shabib told me "He thinks my Car's Alternator isn't working properly. Then I said Yes I know for a fact that before I Moved to San Diego. I went to my automotive repair shop, I asked my mechanic to replace my Cars's Alternator that was last year in May 8, 2025. My mechanic did replace it for me. I drove home to my house tonight, i parked my car into the garage and I allowed my cars' engine to continue to run for about 20 Minutes. Then I turned off my engine and restarted my car at least 3 times. My car is operating in great condition now.

At 3 pm still no one showed up, so I called Quality Towing. They said they were trying to call me but stated various reasons why my phone number was not valid. The dispatch recited my phone number correctly. I already told them not to text it cos I only use land lines. Long story short no one showed up in the next 1.5 hours. Then someone with strong accent I could hardly understand, said he will arrive in 30 min. 30 min means they will pick up at 5 pm when the shop closes and it still takes maybe 50 minutes in the 5:00 traffic for the tow truck to deliver my vehicle after they close. I said no they're closing and he says he would put the keys in a Dropbox I told him there's no room at the shop and my driver's window is broken it won't lock and it is a bad area So I had to cancel that Towing when the mechanic was waiting to work on my truck that day. I rescheduled towing thenext day. The reason why I didn't rate this one star is because the next day another Quality Towing driver showed up in the time that they said that he would and he did a good job with no further incident delivering my RV to that mechanic shop. It is noteworthy although it has nothing to do with the towing, is the owner of the shop who was waiting for my RV to replace some gaskets that were leaking badly and they were still leaking when I had the vehicle towed back to my house, had a heart attack on the freeway 2 days after I got my RV back and he passed away!!! I find that very ironic. Now I don't know who's going to make his repair that's still leaking, right again. I really feel like Quality Towing was making up the reason for not showing up at my house that day, because my phone never rang and there is no record on my phone of them having even tried, like any "missed call" record. I was home all that day waiting for them to show up.
