The whole job was finished in an hour and I could tell that extra work was done that I wasn't asked to pay for. I honestly felt a little guilty at the good deal they gave me. They get around simple short Jobs by charging a Min charge like $60 per1/2 Hr rather the $15 or $20 for a very short 5 Min weld job Never go to Angels unless you want to get ripped off You want Quality work done at a honest price search elsewhere do your self a favor don't go to Angels unless you are prepared for a bad day . I had to get two new tires for my Nissan 350Z and of course no place on the coast had that size.i called Angels and they said they could order them and have them for the next day. I let them know I was on a tight schedule and had to catch a flight at SFO at 920pm the next day. Everything worked out great. I moved to coastal Mendocino county about 4 years ago from the Bay Area. I always used to take my car to the dealer for service, but there aren't any Acura dealers in this area and even the one that I used to go to for almost 30 years (I had another Acura for 20 years before this one) in the Bay Area closed their doors during Covid. Yesterday I couldn't start my car and got a little spoked when all of the lights on the dashboard came on. I called AAA and a tech came out and jumped my battery, but couldn't put in a new one as apparently they are not equipped to do that level of service here. I decided to get a new battery right away and on the advice of one of my neighbors I called Angel's Automotive, and they were able to fit me in right away. One of their workers drove up to the auto supply store which is about 5 minutes away and got a new battery. I was in and out of Angel's in about 1/2 hour. The price was very reasonable and all is good with my ride again. Thanks guys! read more

November last year I had New tires put on my car here. When I brought my car in, the spare tire was on the front, and the blown tire I was in the back. So I'm getting ready to go on a long trip, and I look in the holder where my spare tire is supposed to be, and it is gone! I called and said my spare was missing, and Homer told me to come in so he could look at it, to determine if it was a doughnut, or a regular tire. I went in, and told him that they had my spare tire and that I wanted it back. So he then tells me I have to buy a new one and he has to order it! then he walks away and starts talking to someone else on his phone. Never got my phone number or name. I can't believe that they would actually take my spare tire, and then tell me I have to buy a new one. I think that's called stealing. I am beyond shocked. SHADY SHADY SHADY SHADY... go anywhere else than here. If you know these guys..sure maybe they treat you like royalty and that's great. But we got treated like we wouldn't know any better. We needed a simple oil change, we called and set up an appointment. Got there, was seen and the guy quoted us $50. Perfect, I was completely ready at this point to give five stars. We left the keys, walked down to the thrift shop and came back about an hour later. They told us the bolt had been stripped and that's why it took a little extra time. Fine. As we go to pay the price shot up from $50 to $77. WHAT?!?! For a stripped bolt. No.. Now, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION!!!!.... they decided to change a drain plug. They didn't call, they didn't ask, they didn't mention it along with the stripped bolt. This subject did not come up until we got the bill. And WE saw the invoice and WE mentioned something. So, do most people just pay this guy???? We aren't those people. Sure maybe we needed this stuff, but to do it without asking permission??? They have our number, they seem to be running a reputable business, they couldn't call????? We were given a small discount but still paid almost $20 more than the quoted price. This is unacceptable to me. I run my own business and would never make decisions on anyone else's property or prerogative without proper permission. We expected a better show of customer service and are highly disappointed. We won't be back. We won't be recommending this place. We have informed our local family on this shady deal. read more

The people were friendly and capable but communication was poor. I arrived with a punctured tire off the car and was told the mechanic was out on a job and that it wouldn't be long for my tire to be patched. The fellow asked for my phone number. I left, called in half an hour and was told he was still on that other job and would get to mine soon. 5 or 6 hours later I call, no answer so I go to the shop and he's ready to do it then: 15 or 20 minutes. I wait, it's done. Price is fine. I won't go back because whether intentionally or not (and I think it was NOT intentional) the fellow at the counter did not keep me posted as to the status of my job. My time is valuable to me and he didn't have that in mind. read more

This is the *only* real tire shop in the area. FORGET about North Coast Tire; they don't even have tires in stock for the most common sizes. You will be waiting days for them to order a tire... Angel's really are angels; they will have your tires in stock, professionally install them, and get you back on the road safely. They are not open weekends, but no one up there is. They open when they say they do, and finish when they promise to. They turned our little flat tire fiasco into a rescue of epic proportions. We highly recommend them! read more

Great, fast service if you give them a bribe. I needed a tire repair on a Saturday. I arrived at 12:15. They are supposed to be open until 5pm, but today I was informed that they were closing early and they did not have time for my tire repair. I saw on the board schedule that they were booked up until 2pm. I was asked if I wanted to come back on Monday, or I could get it repaired today if I paid a $20 cash tip to the mechanic and $20 for the repair...$40 total. I said ok, fix it. They did the repair very quickly and thoroughly, checking the air in all of my tires. I gave the mechanic a $20 bill, and checked out at the desk. Homer asked me for $25 more. I had to argue the point that it was supposed to be $20 more and he finally gave in. I needed the repair badly, got what I needed, but felt ripped off at the same time. read more

1. Very bad communication. Had to do job twice because of a language barrier. 2. An employee hit my car as he was backing out of the shop. 3. An employee actually took a 30$ bride to get someone behind me in line in front of me. I couldn't believe it! 4. They only offer one flat rate. I was planning on installing the tires myself and taking care of tire removal but it was going to be the same price ether way. Most places would charge for these things separately. 6. Horrible service. Brought my truck in for a leveling kit installation. They managed to do an ok job. Checked my truck a week after and my ball joints were totally shot. It honestly looked like they poked holes on them. Long story short never take your vehicle there. A good mechanic always notifies the vehicle owner if there is a problem. I've used Angels twice now. they gave me an 'out the door' quote and twice now it's been exactly that amount when I paid. they give you replacement part options but don't push a particular brand. We have been to Angels multiple times and NEVER had a problem. They are always efficient, fast and super friendly. They help any way they can and completely understand how to please their customer. Their prices are great and they have never overcharged. There might be a small language barrier with a few of the workers but if you get the head honcho he is very helpful and relates. These guys saved me this past Saturday when I came by at closing with no rear brake pads and metal on metal contact. They stayed open an extra couple of hours to replace my brake pads and rotors. I am so grateful for their work. They did the job quick and for a very fair price. The owner/manager and mechanics were all very nice and even if they were annoyed with staying later (I would have been) they didn't show it at all.
