We were having a small Army Reunion in Hot Springs and this was the first place we had breakfast during our stay. Myself and one of my friends had a nice breakfast here and the service was very good. We had 2 different ladies who brought our food out and kept checking up on us if we needed anything. It is a cute little restaurant in a small shopping plaza , easy to miss driving by if you didn't know it was there. We found it online and it was close to the Airbnb I rented across the lake. I had Pancakes , Scrambled Eggs , Bacon , and Home Fries. My friend had the same except no Pancakes. The Pancakes were light and fluffy with a little powdered sugar and syrup on the side. They tasted pretty good. Scrambled Eggs were cooked perfectly , also light and fluffy. Bacon was a little smoky and good , not too crisp , more chewy like I like it. Our last day we had breakfast downtown at Best Cafe and Bar , which is a historic 1930's Diner attached to a Motel that supposedly Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio stayed at. We were not impressed. I would recommend eating here instead , because Best Cafe and Bar was very bland , very busy , expensive , and just okay customer service. You get more for your money here. We thought Waffle House was better than Best Cafe and it was way cheaper. read more

Poor combination of waiters too long for below standard food. Italian panini was some sausage and bread. Soup was sodium water. FETTUCCINE DRY! Pizza is made to order and good. Service. The wait staff was pleasant. They bought us someone else food which we caught. they served non pizza items about 20 minutes before so non pizza eaters were done. read more

When we first walked in we were told the kitchen was backed up and it may be 30+ minutes to get our food. I said that was fine as long as we had coffee we would wait for the food. So for 15-20 minutes we had great coffee, but no one stopped to take our order and we were sitting in the middle of the restaurant. Waitresses just looked the other way and brought out others food. When almost couple sat down at the table next to us someone took their order almost immediately. I got her attention afterwards and asked if we could order to which she said, "I would love to take your order." The food was absolutely delicious! While the location is small, it really adds to the cozy, homey atmosphere. We arrived shortly after opening on a Wednesday morning and it was pretty quiet at first. However, by the time we left, the place was nearly full, which says a lot. The food was full of flavor, the service was consistent and attentive and the cook even came out to greet everyone, which made the experience feel extra special. Found this jewel of a place while visiting the area. You'd miss it if you weren't looking. It is worth looking for. There is something in the menu for everyone. This is the best kept secret in HS, the freshest, least greasy, most upscale breakfast you will get in this town, hands down. Chef Paul is amazing whatever he is making! So do yourself a huge favor and go find this place, it's over on Hwy 7 S. going toward the lake right before you get to Fisherman's Warf on the left. I am So excited to find a "new" breakfast place near my place. Formerly called Poached, Angel's Bistro is under new ownership by the well known owners of Ambrosia Bakery and Angel's Italian Restaurant, Troy Creamer. This being my first visit I was thrilled to find they offer Eggs Benedict in several variations. The entire menu is served all day until 2:00 pm. Brunch and Lunch are served including sandwiches, chicken salad; smoked turkey, avocado and Cheddar; tomato basil soup, and Caesar salad. The very friendly manager informed me they will soon be adding gumbo, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles and more! There is no doubt that this will become one of my favorite places to grab something delicious to eat! You should visit them soon, they are in pre-grand opening stages and would love to get feedback and spread the word. read more

Friendly service, pretty place, delicious food. Wish we lived close enough to visit regularly. Husband had a special of Horseradish Steak Crostini. The horseradish sauce had a nice bite, the steak was superbly tender, and the whole combo equaled a clean plate. This is not good. We had a variety of items on the menu and it was all bad. The only thing decent was the coffee which was over priced also. The biscuits and gravy which cost $14 was not eatable. No one even bothered to ask why we didn't eat our food. $80 for the worst breakfast I have had. Too many other great places in Hot Springs to eat here. read more

Drinks and food were delicious. There was a wait when the restaurants was full but as it died down there seem to be a 40 minute wait for food and not many people inside. Maybe three groups with one big 12 top. Seemed the cooking was slow. New restaurant only open a couple of weeks. Interesting menu options with Bacon Wrapped Dates with Blue Cheese, several types of quiche, and frittatas to go with the eggs Benedict. Coffee was good and refilled often. John was our server and while she was new and still learning the menu she was very willing to check with the kitchen on any questions we had about the menu. Overall very good especially for a new restaurant. Quiche was pitiful looking and so small there were 2 slivers and room temperature, fruit was a couple of piece of mushy honey dew and a sliced strawberry.
