That said, our waitress was genuinely kind and very helpful, which was a pleasant change. Years ago, I had a bad experience here where we felt rushed out the door, and it left such a bad impression that I swore I'd never return. Service this time was much better, and I do give credit where it's due. Overall, while there were some standout items on the menu, the long wait, crowded space, and limited sides mean I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. I was in complete shock at the sight of the tiny double galley kitchen, filthy, food droppings everywhere, multiple trash cans overflowing with nasty trash, witnessed one employee digging into a can of black olives with his bare hands and his fingernails were filthy!!! By the back door there was a huge mixer with batter in it stuck to the whisk just sitting there across from the bathroom door. It was hot, cramped, and muggy. Stinky, filthy and definitely not sanitary. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I was so disgusted and decided to write this review so that anyone who is thinking of eating here will know not to!!!
