I ordered the flatbread and to my disappointment they did not have any grated Parmesan cheese or red pepper flakes for me to put on top of my dinner. We were there for the game. First to arrive for an early game. Hostess, I think her name was April, was rather snarky. At first it seemed like an attempt to be funny but it never really changed. Once we got past that though, the waitstaff was great. All were super friendly and ready to help. It seemed like three peeps were waiting on us in instead of just one. Located deep inside the casino, we had to walk awhile to get to it. Some additional signage is one recommendation. We felt like we were wandering. Bartenders are busy. The food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and there are TVs everywhere. Because the bartenders are busy making drinks and serving food to the bar crowd, they shouldn't have to explain to customers about not eating where there is a slot machine. Drinks are the only thing allowed at the bar slots. Another sign recommendation: Maybe a small sign at each machine relaying that message, so the bartenders won't have to? Super clean and nice service. Sports bar inside the casino with walls and walls of TV's. Food is limited in selection, and just "ok". It's not designed as a destination restaurant, so it's excellent for what it is. Burgers, fries, cold beer steps from the slot machines. If you are trying to eat a bit healthy, the Cobb salad is your only option. They do have steamed broccoli as a side in exchange for fries. read more

This is a really cool casino eatery... the food is really good and the servers are always pleasant. It is in the casino so kids are not allowed. I particularly like the chips and queso/ salsa. The burgers are really good too. I do wish they had boneless wings as opposed to bone in. The chocolate peanut butter dessert was absolutely amazing and the carrot cake was awesome too. There are a ton of TVs and they can be loud at times but you are in a casino so it is going to be loud anyways. The only other drawback is that it seems the wait staff has too large of an area to keep up with. We had a hard time getting drink refills but the guy waiting on us had about 20 other tables. This seems to be a recurring issue each time we go but I will give it to the server staff- they are always very nice and knowledgeable. The drinks are average from the bar and the beer is cold. Silks finishes outta the money... There are many great places to dine in Hot Springs but Silks isn't one of them.Not sure what made us stop in here but this place is basically a bar in an upstairs casino with a depressing sandwich and appetizer place attached. First off the flourescent lighting were way too bright in the dining section. Second, the joint was jam packed with obnoxious Razorback fans screaming, hollering and gratuitously cussing their way through a horsewhipping by the Auburn Tigers. There were about a dozen TV's lining the perimeter of the dining area so we politely requested if the bartender could flip on ONE of them to game 7 of the ALCS and all we got were dirty looks. Seriously dude, your team was already getting thumped by 30 points so why not show a modicum of deference towards your customers and earn a tip in the process. Ah well, I guess we forgot we were in Arkansas after all. Very limited menu consisting of a few burgers, sandwiches, salads and appetizers. We had the shrimp Po Boy and the Cobb salad which were both on the unremarkable side of mediocre. Ate about half of it and called it a night. The one positive was our petite server in the New England Pats jersey which made a bad experience tolerable. And we never did get to see that ALCS game... Best putting your money on another dining restaurant. Silks is a distant also-ran. read more

Pretty quiet, drinks were awesome enough to make me have to come back to the hotel and take a nap (PS, not a lightweight) Sandwich was ok. Would have loved more sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. My meal was a total disappointment. I ordered chili cheese fries and soup...not too difficult. After 15 minutes the waitress asked "you haven't received your order yet?" Uhhh, no. She came back 15 minutes later and I shrugged my shoulders saying what's up? She came back 5 minutes later with my food (it was ordered to go) apologizing for the wait. 5 minutes later when I get to my hotel I open the package...fries are cold and stale, all stuck together. Thank you so much SILKS! Had the pleasure of having Sassy Cassy as my wonderful server. She was so welcoming and polite. The menu did not have any clearly marked vegan options, which was fine. I was planning on just ordering plain french fries and catchup. I mentioned I was plant based and she so amazingly suggested turning a quesadilla in to a burrito which turnd out awesome. I was sure it would be good from all the hype I had heard from friends but I was very pleasantly surprised with how awesome the Chicken Alfredo was. I would always go to Olive Garden for it but this makes theirs taste like cardboard. The staff was very friendly and informative. My waitress, Lauren I believe, was very helpful when I ordered the chicken Alfredo because I had no idea it came with vegetables and she asked me if I would want those instead of just giving me what I asked for, saving me potential heartache with the picky eater I am. She was also very friendly and talked to customers like friends instead of just another stranger. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. Especially if you want to play a few games in the gaming room before or after or catch a live show! read more

Service is great and food is more than decent. Would argue the oysters are about as appetizing as anywhere in the South. They are reportedly flown in daily. This restaurant is in the casino at Oaklawn. One can not penalize the restaurant for Arkansas laws that prohibit minors in casinos. They don't give free drinks at the blackjack tables either. Take it up with the legislature, but that should not diminish what is otherwise a really viable sportsbar in Hot Springs. read more

This bar is in a casino, with all the noise and cigarette smoke that hundreds of unhappy slot players generate. We went to watch Thursday Night Football on the really giant television. The prices were right for drinks/beer. The food was only okay. I had the tacos--pretty tasteless, and my boyfriend had the French onion soup and a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were only okay. The waitress took a long break without letting us know she was leaving, and she didn't clean the dirty dishes or offer dessert or coffee, though it was obvious we were there for the game. Today, my friend and I were among the first people to try the new Silks Bar & Grill and it was really good. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was the perfect size for two people and pretty good. I had heard the burgers were going to be one of the specialties, so that's what I had and it didn't disappoint, although I wish I could have had my choice of cheese. It was so big and juicy, that I could only eat half. My friend had the crab cakes, which were also good. The new restaurant has a great atmosphere and I'm particularly excited about coming back in the evening to take advantage of the bar area as well. The food was absolutely superb and for certain we will be returning! I ordered the shrimp which were the best along with the onion rings.
